Is anyone having issue with the screen (horizontal lines) since 4.2 / 4.2.1?

Since i've did a flash from yakju to takju 4.2 (and got ota to 4.2.1) i've started to have annoying horizontal lines on my screen.
I'm pretty sure this was not there before. Also, turning on screen take from 1-5 seconds after i press the power button. It's only been less than a week since my last full wipe....cache is clear....
I'm also having the well known random reboot from time to time (on gnex and on N7).
Compass seems to have calibration issue (i'm far from electro magnetic fields and did the "8" loop to reset it)....
Anyone having my screen issue? Anyone know a fix?
I remember on my old Galaxy S 1 having screen issue on a custom Rom because there was a bug with the custom kernel. SO COULD THE STOCK KERNEL FROM GOOGLE 4.2.1 AND 4.2 HAVE A BUG THAT IS CAUSING LINES ON SCREEN?
ps: those lines are not white or colored, it's more like brightness+ /brightness - they are small (they vary from 1 to 3 pixel wide and goes from left to right). From far you can't see them but if you look closer you see them. They are not visible on screenshot. They don't move

Nope just the kind you said you weren't having.
Colored flashing lines (seems to be green, mostly) 1-3 pixels from top to bottom going all the way across the screen. Had it happen on I believe 3 custom 4.2/4.2.1 ROMs as I have a toro, so nothing official.
It's why I am back on 4.1.2

[Q] red pixel artifact?

Got a new OG E975. Running stock rom 4.1.2.
Getting red pixels in the transparent part of the drop down menu when I'm changing settings (see pic). Only lasts a couple of seconds. Also noticed it in other transparent areas.
Otherwise the phone is running fine.
Is this just a software glitch or a sign of impending hardware failure?

im not having this... but well my phone is new
i dont know if its a software problem probably it isn't (try to flash another rom or factory reset)
if the problem persists just go to a service center and ask to change you the screen (pretty expensive though)

[Q] Help troubleshooting soft resets. Possible firmware problem.

These are the two setups I have used thus far (besides full stock), and this issue has occurred on both:

The first is on ktoonsez kernel on stock rom. The second is Slimroms Kitkat. I have been using the first much longer than the second (which I moved over to just a few weeks ago).
Basically this soft reset tends to happen when I'm driving and using the GPS most often (and I notice that's also when the phone is usually the warmest). What happens is the phone just freezes up and sits there for a bit before finally doing a vibration and starting back up to the unlock screen. Kind of like I was restarting, but not quite. If it happened in the middle of calls, somehow it would keep the call going (at least on the stock kernel, I'm not sure about the new one yet). The other person just wouldn't hear what I was saying during the "soft reset"
On the stock kernel it used to happen even when not using the GPS. It was infrequent, but occurred I would say usually when I was using the phone more heavily... mostly just random though. Sometimes it would also not happen while using the GPS. That is to say it's a sporadic issue.
On this new Kitkat kernel it happened while I was navigating recently, but has not occurred when during any other operations (yet) that I can think of. Considering that was one of the first times I tried navigating with the kernel this worries me.
Does anyone know how I could approach this problem? Perhaps some logging I could do to get to the root issue? Some firmware I should perhaps try out?

Sounds hardware related to me. Especially if its happening on different roms.
Then again... I just looked at you image and you are still running 4.0.4 on one. But the other you are running 4.4.4. On one or tge other you most likely have a rather large gap between your firmware build and the rom. Id try flashing full stock firmware with Odin and test for a day or two. Up to you what build you want to use, but if it were me id update to 4.3. If you go to 4.3, keep in mind there is no going back.

I recently from Viper Rom lollipop to GPE and painfully came back to Viper 4.3 Lollipop
Since - I cannot pull notification bar EXCEPT the home screen and now even thats gone, although it works horizontally
I had a 4.4 Kit Kat Back up which I reverted to and issue remains, did data wipe, cache clean etc, still same
I did a line drawing test and as suspected the upper region is blank
Is this a coicidence? that after changing roms it killed something although I feel it might have acted up even b4 my recent Viper>GPE>Viper experiment
I am S-OFF
What do I please?
S/W Fix?
If HWD? Phone is still under 1 year, how do I make it so it looks stock and not get caught

Cannot pull down notification bar on any ROM (LG G3 d855)

Hello xda-developers,
as I searched for a long time and didn't find anything useful, i decided to post here on xda for the first time.
My problem is the same as mentioned in this post or in the youtube video:

It is not possible to pull the notification bar down in horizontal mode. In landscape mode, there is no problem. The screen is not reacting in this area, even in ladscape mode -> the navbar is not working in landscape mode.
This problem started a few days ago on Resurrection Remix (Marshmallow 6). After it did start, i flashed back to Stock G3 Rom and it still consisted.
Then the screen worked for a few hours again, thus it thought "Fine, it's working, you can flash back". I flashed to CM13 and it worked fine.
After a half day, it didn't work again. So, thats the normal case: It is working for a few hours and then it is not, for 4 days now.
I don't know what this could be and I wanted to ask you guys, if you have any idea, what to do...
So, I would be very happy, if you could answer my following questions:
1. Is it possible, that it is something with the software? I though, that every time I flash a new ROM the whole software is new and bugs are "away"... If this is true, than my problem can't be a software problem. Especially that I've flashed back to Stock, which does install everything new...
2. If it is not software, could it be hardware? But that's not really logical because it works sometimes. Only thing is a loose connection. But can there be a loose connection, which makes the screen not working only on this smart area of the screen?
3. As I flashed Stock ROM, there was the area thicker, because the notification bar was thicker. This absolutely makes no sense, does it? It seems, that the system says "Oh, thats the area which the notification bar covers, let's deactivate it"
4. Do you have any other ideas what to do?
I'm afraid of sending it in because I think, that it will work, when LG is testing the phone.

I can sometimes get it down from the upper left, but not always. For me it sometimes shows a persistent touch and the top center of the bar until I lock and unlock it again. Its definitely a software issue. Wish somebody would look into this!

Awkward Problem

Nice to have an answer even in it is not a good one
I "fixed" the Problem by sending it to LG service. THREE TIMES. It really took 3 times that they found the Problem. Changing the touch panel solved it for me.
Hope everybody with this Problem finds a solution. Good luck
