Hi all,
I keep getting the following popup:
Error Your wifi network does not seem to be working. Please make sure your wi-fi connection is turned on, that you are connected to it and, if necessary , signed in , then try again.
Does anyone know how can I stop this? I have my wifi turned off on purpose- I don't need to be reminded of it every 2 minutes!
Thanks

I have an ATT Tilt2 with an unlimited data plan.
Since I installed the new ROM the data connection keeps turning off and on without warning. It is interfering with various programs that use that connection and I never know when it is going to happen.
For example: When I get up in the morning, most of the time, there is an error message on screen telling me that the system failed to dial out to make a connection.
When it is off and try to turn it on manual it doesn't work. I go to the "Wireless Manager" page and turn the "Data Connection" on. It acts like it is trying to activate then after a second or two it turns off while I am watching the switch. The only way then to turn it back on is power down the phone and restart.
I don't use WiFi very much and most of the time it is turned off. Normally, when everything is working okay the only items on are the: Phone and Data Connection.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem and keep the Data Connection "ON?"
Thank you,
Richard..
Here is the error message that pops up when the data connection fails:
Dialed:
Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Setting. If the problem contineues reset your mobile device accroding to the manufacture's documenteation and try again.
I have reset my device and this problem continues to occur. The only way to reset it is to restart the phone.
I'm having a problem with my data. For some reason, it stops working and says that I currently don't have a data plan with T-Mobile, when I in fact do. When I disconnect and then reconnect it works, but then after 5 minutes repeats the same error. Also, I noticed my T-mobile account app doesn't work. It opens, but then says "We are not able to process your request at this moment. Please try again. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
So I am having some wifi problems. Like most I have 5 or 6 wifis that I connect to on my phone. My issue is that I will need to use my data and my phone's wifi is stuck on trying to connect to a wifi network that is no longer available. I can't turn wifi off or anything. My only fix is to restart the phone. Any clues?

Yes. I believe I'm experiencing the same thing.
Here's my situation, I have the Rogers LGOG (Not rooted) and the reception @ work is extremely poor. So I turn on wifi to connect. I'm able to connect to my corporate wifi, but when I leave to go between floors and I'm out of my wifi range and return, I'm not able to connect. WI-FI is ON and it keeps searching for hotspots, but I'm not able to connect and the only way for it to work again is to reboot. Now, this does not happen consistently, but it has happened a few times to where I'm wondering is this a problem with the OS or is it the phone.
Any thoughts on this to point me to the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Same problem with F180K, but there an OTA update arrived yesterday saying "Wifi bug fix".
Cant tell if they really fixed it, cause im waiting for my flight, so cant test it right now.

I have a att Lg optimus G E970, I think I have the same issue, only solution is restart
Hi All,
I am still lumbering on with an old HTC Desire running CM 7.07282011-Nightly and have had no real issues up until a couple of days ago.
Whilst in France (not that that make a lot of difference) the Wi-Fi access stopped working and the phone stopped being able to see any Wi-Fi networks. Basically, it switches itself off after around 30 seconds and cannot pick up any networks. In addiiton, the WiFi MAC address shows as unavailable although teathering via a WiFi hotspot works fine. I was switch between teather and normal Wi-Fi when the problem occurred.
If I go into Settings --> Wireless and Networks -->WiFi setting, then switch on the Wi-Fi, I get the "Turning on" message but then a Sorry warning saying "Application Settings (in process com.andriod.settings is not responding" and I can either "force a close" or "wait". If I wait, the Wi-Fi will simply switches itself off after about 30 seconds.
I did read in another post that this might be to do with the Wi-Fi sleep status but I tried all 3 options (from the menu in the Wi-Fi setting page) but that didn't do anything.
The issue appears to be that that phone has lost the Wi-Fi adaptors MAC address (says unavailable). However, I can still use Wireless Tethering and connect to to the phones WiFi hotspot. I think something has go screwy with the Wi-Fi tethering and Wi-Fi access (as I was switching between both when on my travels), but I need some help in trying to fix it.
Any Help Welcome
Chris
I tried updating to cm-7-20130301-NIGHTLY-bravo (whuch was the last release version), but still no joy.
Any help welcome
Well, after trying pretty much everything, I had to run a factory reset on the phone. Finally, my Wi-Fi is working again. Of course I now have the ball aching job of setting the phone up and re-installing all my apps again. Google restore is pretty rubbish
Looks like there must have been a config setting that got screwed somewhere. I did take a backup of the ROM and if anyone knows where this might be resolved, I wouldn't mind restoring.
Hi all, i just want to know if anyone its experiencing that wifi network it its being swicht off after none use of the phone, getting as result no notifications working or anything only when grabbing the phone again?
Set energy mode to normal
