I try to unlock the bootloader of my xperia m using flashtool and after i unlock, my device stuck in bootloop and flash it again to reunlock but still in bootloop, after that i flash the stock firmware and my device back to normal, and now im trying to unlockbootloader again but it failed. . .it says FAILED remote command did not succeed. . .any help please. . . .
It failed because the bootloader is already unlocked. You can verify this by going to phone>typing *#*#7378423#*#*>service info>configuration>rooting status. Under the rooting status you will find the bootloader unlock status, yours will say Bootloader Unlocked: Yes.
my devices is locked,i checked it rooting status: Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes. . .and when i connect my device in emma app it says locked. . . .
Try requesting a fresh key from Sony and using the new one.

Have a LT26i .Purchased on contract with eMobile - an Irish network. I'm now out of contract . The config on the phone reads - BOOT LOADER UNLOCK ALLOWED - NO .
The USB port as a data port stopped working about 8 monyhs back , after applying an update. I am now getting a prompt to apply 6.1.A.2.45 from SONY.But can't update becuse PC COMPANION doesn't recognise the phone connected to the USB port .
The network have been unable to unlock the bootloader. Sony have expressed their helplessness as well .
I want to try custom ROMs . Is there a sure fire way to unlock the bootloader ?
Thanks
Lig
You have to contact your network about the bootloader.
Sony can allow the bootloader unlocking, but it has to come from network.
Unfortunately Sony is very slow on updates but very good on network contract protections...

May be some carrier devices won't allow your device bootloader to stay locked forever.. It may not be unlockable. If bootloader is already unlocked, it should say "Bootloader unlocked: YES"..

" In your device, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked. "

Sdk tools
On developers site its written that you need android sdk tools but you have only mentioned fastboot package with drivers..
So it is necessary to install sdk tools or only this rar file?
Thanks
Rar file is enough

Wether the device's bootloader is unlocked or not?
I tried unlocking the bootloader of my device: Sony Xperia M (C-1904) using cmd technique. It got finished successfully. But after i unplugged the phone from the pc and turned it on, it got stuck at bootloop. To solve this I tried to reflash the whole firmware (which i downloaded from Xperifirm) and i got success. My phone started working again. After that I rooted my phone again which was also successful. But now i don't know wether my device's bootloader is locked or unlocked. Can anyone tell me the easy way to check it??

Phone > *#*#7378423#*#* > Service info > Customisation. Rooting status will say "Bootloader Unlocked: yes". Re-flashing firmwares doesn't relock the bootloader.

As per you said, i tried that method and i got the result as:
"Rooting Status:
Bootloader Unlock: Yes"
So does it mean that my bootloader is unlocked.

Providing that it says "Bootloader Unlocked: yes", and not "Bootloader Unlock Allowed: yes", then yes it is unlocked.

Hey guys pls share the link of fastboot package!!!!
Hello,
I had root and custom recovery installed. Everytime I try to unlock bootloader with code provided by sony, it fails and when I retype it, I get an okay message. Once I restart phone , it wont load past the design logo and just keeps restarting. I flash back to stock, try the same procedure and it does it again. What am I doing wrong?
Are you sure that your device says
Bootloader unlock allowed : YES in serice menu?
recheck it.it happened with my xperia pro which bootloader is not unlockable.
& make sure you don't have Bluestack installed in your pc.
It says yes and I have no idea what blue stack is. I am on windows 7.
Ive been trying for 4 days now to unlock my bootloader on my Z5P, it says ok and what not on cmd, I restart my phone and its reset but the bootloader still says 'bootloader unlock allowed: yes' ive tried using flashtool but it says my device is unsupported
Im using the E6853 on 6.0.1 MM
I have made sure OEM unlock is enabled and that stays enabled after reset, the fastboot drivers are installed, and I've tried flashing a custom kernel with an error writing to boot, any help? :crying:
Bump anyone?

can anyone help me to root my device please
Anybody here to help me
the ONLY way to ROOT is to UNLOCK the bootloader and flashing kernal.
i rooted my E6833 by this way ONLY. (two months ago)
but since then, new MM vulnerabilities have been found.
did u try KINGROOT ?

BOOTUNLOCKED allowed : YES
means you can unlock the bootloader by KEYS. (provided by sony) (you can request them)
buttt dont just blindly unlock ur bootloader, u will loose drm keys!
first step
install flashtool http://www.flashtool.net/downloads_windows.php
Yes i have flashtool .. Then ?
