Give that its soft leather not hard plastic I would assume so.

Did Motorola just released an official case of this? You bet!!
So with soft leather the scratching issue should be a thing of the past.
But for me the huge news and most important part is that they put three standing positions on it (instead of two of the previews case). That gives three viewing angles to this case (plus one flat view) with the lower one as showing to the picture to be what is called the "typing angle"!!!
So in summary, for me, this case is nothing less than a perfection of the original case!!

The problem I have with the current hard plastic folio case is that the Xoom is too heavy and doesn't stay at the lower "typing angle" notch w/o slipping and folding totally flat.
I don't see how this leather case would work differently.
That's what I like on the Apple iPad cases (either the original or the new smart cover) is that the typing angle setting is pretty solid/stable, and the device doesn't "slip" and drop completely flat while you're typing or even clicking icons/links/etc.

There is no cutout at the bottom for charging. See the pictures I posted at the URL provided in the post above.
It is very similar to the Moto Folio case in design, much "sexier" in appearance though.

Just ordered one myself. Should be here in a couple of days.
Convincing the Verizon guy that I didn't want the plastic one was a bit of a chore. Thankfully I had the part number from this thread.

[Q] Diffrent colors wrist bands

Anybody knows where i could get some different wrist bands?
I know some of them are called swr510. I am looking for any bright colors ones

I'm going to check out the Verizon Store on Wednesday since they are the only brick and mortar selling it. Alot of the time these cell stores rebrand these accessories and give them their own model numbers making it impossible to find on their website.

You can't seem to buy them even directly from Sony so not sure Verizon will have them, although I bought my SW3 right from a Verizon store when they were sold out online! I would like a white one to mix it up a bit, hopefully some other company will make others too.

The pink is available on Amazon, I've not seen any other colours though

If preorders count, then you can also preorder both the white and pink ones on Expansys for €25. However, they aren't available anywhere in Europe right , as far as I can tell.

Is there any news about when these will be available yet? Everywhere in the UK has them on preorder since forever.
Also, does anyone know if the lime green / yellow strap will be available separately? I was impatient so I bought the watch with the black strap before the green one was released, but now the green strap doesn't appear to be on the preorder list like the black, white and pink ones are!

Sony seem to produce great products and then immediately shoot themselves in the foot with stuff like this. One of the main features they highlighted was the ability to change the strap and then they can't even get mass produced rubber straps out to people who are waiting to give them money.... Idiots.

I finally got this reply from Sony customer services about the lime straps, good to know they're able to look at their own website for this info! :

Same quality as the black band

I have the white too now. It seems to have a slightly more glossy surface than the black so is less of a dust magnet. Makes the watch look a bit nicer too.

Someone is finally selling the lime strap separately on eBay. But they're £65 just for the strap! Pretty sure I could sell my watch and black strap and buy a complete new one with a lime strap and lose less money. I'm also intrigued to know where they're getting them from since Sony aren't selling the lime strap separately.

The 24mm Monolink Metal Band from Motorola band is, in my humble opinion, the best one to go with the simple yet classy design of the Moto 360, don’t you guys agree? Problem is Motorola dosent sell it separately, only if you buy a new watch on US and UK Moto Maker site! Many of us have bought this watch already and want the chance to also use it...
Can´t we create a hype and somehow make pressure on Motorola so they start selling them separately?

I checked out that item on aliexpress, its definitely a scam.
The first picture is the original stock photo of the band, but the following next photos show a band that's similar, but definitely not the monolink.
If you look closely, the monolink has thin flat pieces, while the aliexpress one has thicker rounded pieces.
Its definitely very close in comparison. The butterfly clasps is what made me believe it was the original at first, but upon further inspection its pretty easy to tell ?

Yeah, I noticed it not the original one but they never said it is so I wouldn't call it a scam. A scam would be if I never got anything but aliexpress only releases the money to the seller 60 days after the buy which gives you time to easily reclaim a refund. I ordered it, let's see how it goes.

Might want to look a little harder if you are willing to have something "like" the monolink.
The one listed for $50 is just http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32506261530.html with a moto 360 on it.
They can be found cheaper if you will take rounded links instead of the flat ones.

[Q] What straps suit the Huawei Watch?

Does anybody already know what watch straps size has the Huawei Watch?
I have just pre-ordered by Amazon USA the 'Huawei Watch Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Link Band' and it looks like it has already a kind of Steelconnect adapter where you can connect different straps?

It's an 18mm bar size, but the Huawei bands over extend the bar. Aftermarket bands may appear too small, will have to wait and see how they look.

Hmm I suspect then that either we remove completely the Huawei straps or we will have to use some adapters.

the original strap is a 22mm...but with an 18mm connection thingy.

It would be too small

FYI...Huawei just "listed" their watch bands on the site. I say listed because they only give a range of prices and examples, but no order button, just a "Coming Soon" placeholder. At this point, they are the bands that we've already seen, but the do look like they will release them soon.
Hopefully they will start to offer other options as well...

I just purchased an after market 18 mm size band from Hirsch, it's a leather carbon fiber embossed one, that comes in a variety of colors, it's around 45-50 dollars, but is a true luxury strap. It looks great. Holbens Fine Watch Bands is an excellent online retailer for all kinds of straps. Just search for 18 mm size straps.

Where to get Brown Leather Band?

So I am in the market for a new watch, and I figured I may as well get a smartwatch. I don't care about extra features, as all I want it for is to tell me what time it is and for notifications. (Who's calling, text messages, etc)
At first I was torn between the Asus Zenwatch 2 and Moto 360 1st Gen. I can get either right now for $150.00. Both of which I do like. Now I am looking at the Sony Smartwatch 3. I like the extra battery size, but I am not a fan of the rubber strap. (I only like leather straps on watches, not metal either) I would be interested in purchasing a Sony Smartwatch 3, but only if I know for a fact that I can purchase the brown leather band for it, even if it may be at a later time.
Anyone know anything on the leather bands? I have looked all over and do not see them for sale anywhere!

Not available for me yesterday and today is even worse as the black leather strap is now also unavailable! Of course the metal strap has never been in stock.

Buy it with the band included, the metal band is hard to buy but the watch with the metal band included was easy to buy.

It looks very nice. How is the quality? Do you advise it?

As expected, the surface is not buttery smooth, but acceptable. It doesn't have a right silver button, but you still can press it easily. Mine has a little gap on the right. If you can find the Sony holder kit with reasonable price, that would be a better choice. I saw it listed in ebay at a quite expensive price. That's why I choose this 3d printing one. Another reason, 22mm band is a right size for me, 24mm is too wide for my taste.

Thank you for your review, the original holder is really expansive, 60 70 80 euros is too much, I've paid my Sony smartwatch 3 90€..!!! I'll wait for a free shipping code form shapeways and I'll buy it (shipping costs 12€).

Just to let you know that ebay has started listing Sony holder kit at around Eur30+. Pls search with swr510c keyword. Grab it while you can.

Am I right in thinking that if I buy the strap from Sony @ £29.99 the holder kit is included? Looks like it is, anyone brought?
