In Install TWRP section, under device name, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, there are two listings - klimtwifi and klimtwifixx. Been trying to figure out which of the two is applicable to my model, which is Samsung Galaxy Tab S T705.
Could somebody please help out.

Twrp 2.8.3.0 is broken. It gives people bootloops and is recommended to use a lower versions of that twrp like twrp 2.8.1.0
Thank you, thank you.
Did it work? I think I will also download klimtwifi against the klimtwifixx version and perhaps go a version or 2 behind ?
Sent from my SM-T705 using XDA Free mobile app
So... does it work?
Sounds interesting what you've said so far, but nobody has actually answered the question:
Is there a TWRP version that works with the SM-T705, that's the klimtlte version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 [LTE]?
For those who already flashed the boot loader with their klimtlte: Which version did you use, i.e. klimtwifi or klimtwifixx?
[In my opinion, using the klimtwifi could work, as the boot loader should be independent of whether an LTE modem is installed or not. However, according to wikipedia, this version also has another cpu and gpu... ?]
edit: I ended up trying it myself and I can confirm that the klimtwifi version does work for the klimtlte as of TWRP v2.8.5.0. I was able to flash another ROM having no problem whatsoever. Thanks anyway.

Hi, almost one year later and I've got the same problem. Flashed twrp-3.0.2-0-klimtwifi.img.tar and when I try to flash cm-12.1-20160508-NIGHTLY-klimtlte it says that device is klimtwifi and not klimtlte... I'm asuming that if I flash klimtwifi CM 12.1, then LTE will not work?
Can you please help?

I have a Korean version of Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T210L and lots of korean language bothers me very much....
May I flash it with firmwares for SM-T210 but avoiding bricking it?
Or maybe there are working CWM or TWRP for this device at least?
I have the same Korean SM-T210L version and tried the firmware available for SM-T210. It didn't work, it hangs upon booting, showing the Samsung brand. I'm still looking for a solution.

I second that. We could really use a working 4.2 build!
#3 and #4: Since my SM-T210L is no longer working (after installing the SM-T210 firmware), I guess it would be of little use if I upload a system dump from my device. Please advice, I am lacking of experience.

hmmm. another dirty trick by samsung. They fail to provide stock firmware to lots of devices. If the other guy responds I could help get the tab up and running. If it's partitions as I imagine stock would just be system and boot . My Galaxy Exhibit t599 was the same way without factory images

Doesn't KIES provide an "emergency" restore? If not all the more reason for you to try and get a system dump . Maybe you know someone who has a working tab? (Korean tab models aren't very common here in Berlin... )

No, unfortunately KIES is not capable of updating the firmware. It seems the SM-T210L model is not supported, too bad. Thank you anyway for the suggestion!

New Tab update
Hi all,
My kid was given a korean SM-T210L version Galaxy Tab 3, the android version installed on the tab is 4.1.2; unfortunately it does not allow me to upgrade any further. is there a root version that will allow me to update the operating software.
I have never rooted a phone or a tab before therefore will really appreciate any assistance.
Thanks,
Zach

To restore original version 4.1.2, I used below link.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zwvavvfWEMvzSMMc970N_uIsgrdn1bag
I tried twice with Odin 3.09, my tab was restore. For first fail, I don't know why to fail. But in second try I was working.
I wish that it will be helpful for you.
Also I am looking for upgrade version 4.2.
Solved - Rooted SM-T210L
(sorry to new to the forum to post actual links - reply if you need them)
I was able to root my SM-T210L using the same method that everyone else is posting, Odin (version 3.12.3 in my case) and using this compressed file T210.TWRP.2.8.0.0.tar.md5 You also have to copy SuperSU to your tablet (either on a SD Card or through a USB cable onto the device memory directly) search for SuperSU
Here are the instructions (most complete in my view) that seemed to be able to work for me. Go to droidviews site and search on the model to find the instructions.
Even though the image file does not have the model SM-T210L specifically, I did not have any problems with it and was able to root it successfully. I then was able to delete all of the bloatware that came with the tablet, especially all of the Korean based applications that I can't use.
Is there anyone who still have the SM-T210L firmware? Please give links for download.

Hi folks,
I've not had much luck in finding this answer in google so I'd thought I'd give it
a try here.
Can anyone tell me which versions of CWM and TWRP are safe to use of
Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 LTE/4G model GT-P5220?? From my reading of both
websites neither of them support the P5220, but obviously some do as
people are rooting the P5220.
I'd rather not risk bricking for obvious reasons.
Many thanks in advance,
Me.

I use TWRP 2.7.0 on my P5210 and it is listed as not supported. I cannot say that it will harm your device, but only one way to find out... Try it. I do not use CWM. I did try it but I did not like it. TWRP has a better GUI with the push button interface.

First you follow this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160671 to get custom recovery installed.
After finishing the above said process You can download this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23610159112651924 recovery and flash. Or U may flash TWRP from here https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/dev....1.0_i9082.zip
Both have SELinux support so you can flash any latest ROM.

Yes, Samsung do not provide updates anymore for the s4 mini.
You should be able to install CM13, like the rest of us.
Which method did you use to root? Which procedure are you following & what is actually failing? Do you have custom recovery installed?
I just followed Arco's recovery root thread & used the s4mini rootkit v2. Later installed TWRP and CM13.

It sounds like you may have followed the "old" method, there are several (often stolen from Arco with no credit given to him) still on the net & even one on xda that uses older version of Odin that does not work. You need Odin 3.09 and to follow the original thread

I'm a long time lurker here and hope this is not duplicate (sry fam)
I didnt like being stuck on m919 roms specifically developed for this phone as the att(i337) and international(jfltexx) roms were also available, so I
just downloaded the jfltexx recovery
HTML:
https://dl.twrp.me/jfltexx/twrp-3.1.0-0-jfltexx.img.tar.html
recovery, flashed via m919 twrp, and rebooted recovery.
VIOLA, i was jfltexx in recovery with all options working as you would expect on a international phone.
Second i loaded AICP
HTML:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-aicp-8-0-lp-5-0-2r1-official-t3026904
and that worked, so i went ahead and installed ResurrectionRemix
HTML:

and that had no issues that i can see. I can provide pics if needed, tell me what works and what does not.
