Install procedure
- After first stock I9000XWJM9 or I9000TDOJJ1 rom boot select your language
- Download Clockwork Recovery from the link below.
-- Rename the file to update.zip
- Download your desired version of the ROM.
-- Optianal:
--- Download Eclair Lockscreen
--- Download OC Kernel /w Voodoo
- Put the downloaded files onto the internal /sdcard card
- Shutdown the phone
- Start phone in recovery mode (with "vol up + home + power")
- Choose apply sdcard:update.zip (Might have to do this twice to get into Clockwork Recovery)
- Choose: install zip from sdcard (Use Power Button for choosing in Clockwork Recovery)
- Choose: choose zip from sdcard
- Choose the zip file from the list you wanna flash.
-- Flash the Rom first and then whatever else you downloaded (Flash Voodoo Kernel Last if you downloaded that one)
- When done reboot phone
- First boot will take some time since it needs to deoxed the ROM
Using Stock Android Lockscreen
- Download JM9_Eclair_Lockscreen.zip from the link below.
- Copy it to your internal /sdcard
- Reboot into clockworkmod recovery and flash it that way.
Info regarding Backlight Notifications
- Backlight Notifications will be activated by default if you download the OC kernel /w Voodoo from raspdeep that is linked below.

Seems voodoo lag fix compatible so far.
Maybe showing my noobiness, but the galaxy S intro animation played at 1.5x speed, actually looks a lot nicer. Is this an unintended side effect? Maybe the lag fix?

Try OCLF ("One Click Lag Fix") from the Market, together with Eris Market Enabler.
My ROM went to 2200~2300 in Quadrant, so, i definitely recommend it

Should be able to use it on a none fresh version of JM7 just haven't tried it...
It doesn't touch any of your installed apps.
Only thing it removes are this: /system/app and /system/framework and then adds the deodexed files instead.

lol i am not personally too happy about dialler, apns-conf (will try to replace manually but before always failed) and choice of e for battery (everything else has some color cept battery circle) but everything else seems very nice.

Personally i like version c of the battery more then version e that i have used here but it wouldn't fit as well in my opinion

You need to be on KK to flash any version of JasmineROM. If you're coming from JB, upgrade to KK 1st; the easiest way is to flash FULL NC2 or NC4 stock tar via Odin. Alternatively, you may flash the ROM in Safestrap & reboot to Download Mode to flash this firmware (it includes NC2 bootloader for downgradability to JB). Once you're on KK, flash the Unified KK firmware via Odin. Check the video tutorial at the end of this section.

★ Starting from JasmineROM v2.4 & based on the preliminary results of the debloating poll, Google apps have been removed except Play Store. You've two options:
Install the apps you need from Play Store, which has many issues recently due to Google servers. To fix these issues, use "Play Store Fixes" Xposed module.
Pick the package of your interest from the most updated Google apps here. There're many packages based on size: Stock, Full Modular, Mini Modular, Micro, Nano & Pico.

★ Lock Screen Security on Developer Edition:
To fix the security issue of the lock screen PIN not sticking on DE, keep resetting PIN just after boot till cache builds & PIN setting goes static. @Thepooch reported that, after applying the patch, "one key to getting the PIN to stick is to keep rebooting and re-enter pin; it migrates to swipe just after reboot so you can re-enter without confirming original then reboot and it holds." For more detail, check this thread.

★ Power Saving Tips:
1. Check this post for personal debloating/cleaning
2. Use BootManager to control & limit startup apps
3. Add apps to Greenify & make use of the "Hibernate Now" widget
4. Manage your Data, WiFi, GPS/Location & Sync in a smart way
5. Uncheck "Alloways allow scanning" in WiFi advanced settings
6. Use the "Power Saving" or "Ultra Power Saving" mode
7. Use Unbounce Xposed & other power saving tips
*** Wait for ROM to settle in after a few discharge cycles
Open Settings > Application permissions & uncheck location permissions for any app, including system, that shows RUNNING in the location tap. This will increase your battery life & won't affect your location/GPS functionality.

S5 Camera app has a few known issues in all S5 ports because of the hardware changes. To resolve these issues, flash the updated N3 Camera app with "Virtual tour" mode. This'll also fix the S View Cover issues.

According to post #7433 quoted bellow, you need to at least flash the nano package from here to install Google Play services & Google Search (Velvet). Make backup of your Android 5.0 Lollipop apps, if you've installed any, to restore them!

I recommend "Data only" for system apps not to conflict/overwrite ROM apps

You may experience issues due to dirty flash or even the remainder files in the internal storage. I recommend to backup your internal SD card to external SD card, cloud, or computer. Then, SUPER CLEAN your device before flashing as follows:
- Safestrap/recvery Home > Advanced > Teminal command > scroll down & tap sdcard > at bottom right, select (make sure you're in the /sdcard folder) > type the following command & press enter:

All notifications will be monitored by NotifyClean. You could do the same for other annoying apps/notifications such as the "Connected to.." WiFi notification (in NotifyClean, tap Android system > then, tap ONLY "Connected to .." notification to block; it turns to RED). At anytime, you can open NotifyClean, monitor notifications or unblock the blocked (marked RED) by a single tap. You will receive toast notifications if any (e.g., "Connected to WiF network..." will be just a toast notification).
★ You've to chose between the S5 VIP mode (Firewall) available on JasmineROM v1.8 or the native Note 3 Message block available from Settings/Message block. If you get FC when adding a number, freeze/uninstall VIP mode via TitaniumBackup or remove /system/app/Firewall.apk & reboot.
★ If you've issues with S5 Camera or want to revert to the Note 3 version, uninstall & flash this in recovery.
★ If you've issues with S5 VVM or want to revert to the Note 3 version, uninstall & flash this in recovery.
★ If you've SMS issues on JasmineROM v2.0, flash this fix.
★ S5 Planner replaces Note 3 Calendar in JasmineROM, which provides relatively better interface/look. If you'd like to revert to Note 3 Calendar, flash this in recovery. At any time, you can switch to S5 Planner by flashing this in recovery.
★ The multi-window tray bar is themed in green for consistency with S5 look in JasmineROM v1.5. If you'd like to revert to the default bar colors, flash this in recovery.
★ S5 Email/Exchange FCs in text editing (double tap or long press only) & notification sound setting --otherwise works great. This needs more investigation. However, NC4 should be better or equal to NC2. For sure, it includes bug fixes and improvements but maybe just for the bloatware Anyway, this stock rooted NC4 ROM works with the leaked NC2 firmware. You can roll back to NC2 or MJE. It's a safe upgrade

Not in this initial release; this is the first safe upgrade to Stock Rooted NC4 with NC2 firmware. It's a base for JasmineROM and any other ROMs on NC4, and it also serves impatient users who badly want to try/upgrade to NC4 without losing the features of the leaked NC2 bootloader. Unlocked Tethering, All Toggles (including flashlight), S5 customizations/apps, and many other features are kept for the next release of JasmineROM v1.1 (very soon).

Yes, professional look and recent updates. When "kexec" module hopefully will be fully working with our NC2 bootloader, JasmineROM is going to break the barriers and provide firmware updates a year before VZW OTAs Well, when Verizon and Samsung stop supporting our device, JasmineROM will support it. Tried to setup Viper Android but the driver install failed, saying that the busybox version installed is broken. Installed Stericsons but the driver still won't install. Any ideas to get it to work?

No problems here, try reinstalling the rom, no need for a full wipe.

Hi, thank you for posting the rom, and your hard work, I tried to install it several times, I do a full wipe before installing, after it finishes I restart and it just come back to recovery every time, Any suggestions? I would appreciate your help. Thanks
Go into Advanced Wipe, wipe Cache, Data, System, Dalvik. Install rom again. If you still get a boot loop, start over from scratch by flashing back to stock via Odin, flash TWRP, then try to flash the rom again.
Thanks, the first link to download the rom is imcomplete or corrupted, i downloaded the rom again from the 3 link and its working like a char , thank you again, I also noticed the S tab launcher doesnt install atall regardless, Any idea about that one?

So far, no sensor problems for me. :good:
System not responding at my first boot.
I pressed wait but the device restarted automatically.
After the restart , it is the same again.
The rom is totally not usable.

Do a clean install, and make sure your device is GT-i9505.
i did clean install.

What custom recovery do you use? I've flashed this ROM 3-4 times already without problems. And some users, too.
What are the "Big" differences from your modded rom from albe's ?

Not much of a big difference, maybe? But this is the full version (non-aroma) ROM, w/ Imperium Kernel. As for performance, I think this is much more stable compared to official v2.5 based on testimonies of some v2.5 users complaining about bugs they encounter using the official one. You can check OP for the full description.

Nice fixing mate but if you know about development then make your own rom not just doing some fixes on the others work and then you say To all Devs:

FYI, I asked permission from the original developer. And saying "You're not allowed to take files from my ROM without my permissions." doesn't mean I own the ROM. I'm just sharing my own mod of the ROM. Cheers!
