Unlocked & relocked with freegee ...
Hi guys
problem is when I tried to connect the charger while phone was off, didnt charge!
just phone started to boot!
so I restored the EFS backups & then Relocked bootloader!ALL on the stock 4.4.2a.
but after restart I got Secure booting error on the first lg logo!why that happend?
will flashing kdz fix that error???
Phone still stuck in boot
I tried this with my e975 but the stucks in boot just as before. What should i do?
I flashed the recommended files through LGNPST and at 85% or so the phone restarted. I went into Bootloader, then into Recovery and flashed my ROM with adb.
The phone now doesn't stop to boot. What am I doing wrong?
Please help me out,

you need to make a full wipe, including internal storage, you can do that in recovery mode after flashing your rom with sideload.
good luck and sorry for my bad english.
Coming from soft bricked Bell E973 (geeb) with CM10.1
I tried this method after having issues with KDZ updater / LG Flash Tool / LG Support Tool. Worked great!! Except when I tried to sideload a rom my device apparently had an identity crisis and thought it was a geehrc4g. Oops. There's not much information that I could find about whether this was applicable for my device but the OP seems to indicate as much. I suspect I would have been able to flash a geehrc4g rom and boot ok, but probably would have had a bunch of stuff not work...?
Anyway, somehow LG Flash Tool managed to work after that.
Thanx
Luv u so much..... i m very very thankful to you ....... bcz u solved my big problem.......... again thank you so much......... if anyone wana solve secure booting error in F180L in Pakistan contact me 03334180141 or mail me on [email protected]
Getting an error while using LGNPST-AGC
Hi people of XDA,
At first, my phone was non modified (original rom).
I was taking pictures with it when multiple apps crashed one after the others.
I decided to reboot it by holding the power button.
After the restart, my phone was like a brand new one. Asking me to reenter my Gmail and set it up each time I reboot the phone.
The "scan media files" icon keeps showing in the notif bar. I was able to use the phone but not taking pics or install apps.
My internal memory had 3 Go of free space before the crash, shows 0 bytes free after...
1) I try to hard reset it but when I confirmed the operation, the phone doesn't reboot as supposed.
2)I try the LG support tool to put back an original rom as the phone was still able to boot and connect to a computer.
But this step changed nothing.
3) As a third try, I used KDZ to flash a file (rom for E971) to find if it was a software or hardware problem.
After this step, my phone don't even want to boot anymore... I am stock to a steady LG logo which is normally animated few seconds before the boot.
Finally, as no recovery mode available, I try to put TeenyBin file (E971.E973.E975.F180 Original TeenyBin) from this procedure (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249500) to my LGOG E971 and I got this error message. (see capture).
FYI : I have done this procedure without any sim card inside.
All the install process for LGNPST-AGC went fine.
My phone doesn't boot. Only the LG logo. I am able to put it in download mode.
This phone has never been rooted or unlock.
Anybody got this kind of error before??
Thanks for your hints in advance

Hello XDA!
A few months ago I won an LG Optimus Me P350 and I recently discovered that no recovery mode.
I tried to follow a tutorial offered by this community and unfortunately I failed in fastboot.
I tried something with cmd and I remain "locked" .. I say that is waiting phone.
And with KDZ not know how well I did, but with 3GQCT Emergency Mode and Select Emergency calls me at a time that does not detect the phone, which is strange .. since it detects the computer ...
Probably a very old version and no firewall or KDZ file rather not be too good.
Let's try a little with KDZ, and if you fail I hope to find here a solution posted for you!
I know I can somehow manage to get rid of this problem.
I wanted to install android 7.xx (not sure what version I had) with recovery mode .. but unfortunately went into fastboot.
Thanks in advance!
Which guide did you follow? I compiled the one on XDA Wiki for Optimus Me so I know the ins and outs of flashing this phone. Can you be more specific on what problem did you face?
Hi,
Yesterday i tried to get recovery mode on my phone to install new version of android (korean version of Optimus G). So i tried by reading topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249500
After i had 85% in LGNPST i disconnected usb cable from phone and my phone bricked. At first i had bootloop and i could only get into recovery mode. Now i have only download mode... I tried to unbrick following that topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010624
So in that app Original LG Software i type Model of phone: F180K (like it is on box of my phone) and my IMEI number. After download a almost 1,2GB file with .kdz i set my phone for download mode and any program cant unpack it. Always ERROR -.- http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/2136/beztytuukvn.jpg
I tried to unpack it with LG-P970 ROM COVERTER 2.1 and R&D Test Tool. Nothing works! I have Windows Enabler 1.1v and its ON.
Is there any other way to fix my phone? Help me please.
EDIT:
Can be closed. @autoprime from #lg-optimus-g irc helped me thx :*
Download:
- LGE975AT-00-V10b-EUR-XX-FEB-13-2013_0.tot from http://downloads.codefi.re/shelnutt2/optimusg/e975
- LGNPST
Solve:
-Turn your LG into download mode
-Change LGE975AT-00-V10b-EUR-XX-FEB-13-2013_0.tot to LGE975AT-00-V10b-EUR-XX-FEB-13-2013_0.bin
- Use LGNPST to install that file on your LG
Phone should turn off on 67% and if you will have bootloop you should press Vol- and Power to factory reset.
I think the KDZ is corrupt. Try downloading another. There is a thread with stock roms in dev section i think. After you flash the KDZ you might run into a bootloop. If you do, turn off your phone and press vol down and power you should get the choice to do hard reset. BEWARE! This will ERASE EVERYTHING ON YOUR SDCARD!
Good luck /Robert

Thanks but i've already downloaded that .kdz sevral times and it still doesn't work. I have access now to download mode and recovery mode. Just need some kind of ROM that will install on my LG. I had already 2 versions but everytime in recovery install was stopped and i saw image of broken droid :<
Hey all,
I restarted my phone yesterday and it was stuck in a boot loop for some reason. I tried to factory reset, but doing so still resulted in a boot loop. I then proceeded to attempt to flash stock, but the flash tool crashed while during the process. When I try to boot to download mode now, I get "Secure booting error, Error!: Boot Certifcation Verify". I know this also happens on the G2, and I know the process for fixing it. But when trying to use the same method with the G3, I can't access my filesystem from Linux. Any help? Thanks.

1) Which exact model do you have?
2) Where are you from?
3) Which exact stock version did your phone come with?
4) What did you try to flash exactly, and how did you do it?
Let me know all this so I can see if I can help you :good:
Hey!
1) Which exact model do you have? - LG G3 D855
2) Where are you from? - India
3) Which exact stock version did your phone come with? - had installed earlier "LGD855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G+0" TOT
4) What did you try to flash exactly, and how did you do it - Updated to Lollipop via kdz, a few things were broken, wanted to revert back to TOT. when the process started in download mode, got an error and then "Secure booting error, Error!: Boot Certifcation Verify".
If I press volume up and plug in then it gooes to qhsusb_bulk on device manager. it gets detected under Ubuntu VM, but dosent show th drives. thats my story.

I was rooted before updating to lollipop, then tried to back dowk to KK with TOT and this happened, so I dont think I am rooted any more.
The better question is: do you have TWRP (custom recovery) installed? If you do, your phone can be fixed. If not, you are probably screwed.
Basically it sounds to me like your phone managed to flash the updated Android 5.0 bootloader but didn't update the LAF image (download mode). The old download mode doesn't work on the new bootloader, it gives the error you are experiencing.
Because you still have a LAF partition, and presumably a recovery partition (even if they are not working) you cannot access fastboot mode.
In other words, there may be no way to fix your situation.
As the hardware is fine there must be a method, but it might be something only LG can do.

I'm in the same situation now.
I was bumped with TWRP and CM12 installed. I wanted to unroot and go back to stock. Started a flash with LG flashing tool, but it was taking ages, so I unplugged the USB cable in the middle.
Now whenever I boot via either VolUp+USB or trying to get into a recovery I get secure boot error.
Is there a way to fix this ? Or do I need to send a phone to LG ?
This has happened to me today. Downgrading got stuck at 3%. LG Flash tool said to remove phone and plug back in. Any way to fix
Also, does anyone know if downgrading voids warranty or anything?

I didn't find a way to fix it, so I've just sent it to LG repair shop. They haven't yet looked at it so I don't know how much would it cost.
People just tell the service center that you were upgrading from KitKat to Lollipop when the problem happened
Evidence wise it support your claim since the OTA from KitKat to Lollipop overwrites the aboot, sbl, laf and recovery partitions and service center people ultimately cannot tell between failed OTA and a failed KDZ flash

solution for no download mode
Hi guys.
If you cant enter into download mode then you need to force your g3 in to qhsusb bulk mode by shorting the test point.
When you short battery must be removed.
After short your phone will be detected as qhsusb bulk mode.
Send me msg in pm for further help.
If u dont know the test point then let me know.

Hi! I just recently bricked my LG G3 D852, and I would really appreciate it if you could PM me and help me out here.

Try this. This will revert to factory default, tons of bloatware included ?

Don't forget to smash that thanks button if I, or someone else helps you, guys!
First of all I want to Thank cybertag (a member at reddit.com) whose help made me find this solution. And sorry if my English is not good, it is not my first language. As I don't have enough posts here, XDA restricts me to post external links so this is the best I could do. I will add links to the files needed once i am allowed.
A few days ago I was tinkering with after my lg g2 ls-980, the sprint version of lg g2, rooted but no custom recovery installed and I made my first mistake of changing the model number from ls-980 to D802 in built.prop file thinking that it will only change the model number shown in the hardware information and restarted the phone. Once my phone booted up after that restart everything was crashing. There was a huge number of crash reports popping on the screen and I was not able to use anything. So I downloaded the .tot files of the stock firmwares LS980ZVC and LS980ZVE (don't know why but I downloaded both) along with the .dll file needed to flash the firmware for ls980 and when I tried to flash the firmware booting the phone in download mode and using the LG Flash tool but it gave me an error saying that the firmware does not match with model number of my phone. Both firmwares gave the same error. My phone and the flash tool both were thinking it was D802 while it was not.
Now i made my second mistake and downloaded the stock firmware for D802 and flashed it using LG flash tool. The firmware was flashed successfully without any error, but when the phone booted up after the flash the touch screen was behaving funny and phone restarted every 15-20 seconds because this firmware was not meant to be used with LS-980. I was unable to do anything the way touch screen was behaving.
I spent most of my time for the next few days googling for the solution and searching on XDA and also on reddit. I found multiple threads reporting that a generic no-check DLL file is the savior in this situation, but when I tried to run it I get continuous errors telling me the following: "CrossDL [D8012] to [LS-980]". Then i found this thread by cybertag on reddit which lead me to the right direction. It suggested to hex edit the .tot file for ls-980 so that the flash tool thinks that it is for D802. So I grabbed a hex editor and found the first mention of LS-980 and changed it to D802, saved the file and tried o flash it but it was still giving different errors. Then someone suggested it only works if you edit the .tot firmware in linux based OS. So i installed ubuntu OS on a virtual machine and tried editing the firmware in that OS using Bless Hex editor, still no success in flashing. Then I tried editing in pinguy OS but in vain. Then I found FlexHex for windows and used it for editing the LS980ZVC.tot firmware did the same thing, found the first mention of LS-980 and changed it to D802, saved the file, flashed it and bingo! the flash tool gave no error this time and flashed the phone successfully.
Now there was another problem. When the phone rebooted after flashing the firmware it got stuck on LG logo forever. And when I tried to boot it into download mode, the download mode was gone and it took me to fastboot mode. The phone was stuck in bootloop and there was no download mode anymore. Now after more searching i found a method to resolve this problem. Downloaded the aboot.img and laf.img partitons for LS980ZVC and flashed both using fastboot commands. Tried to boot into the download mode again and it worked and i was in download mode one again. When I checked the phone model was changed back to LS-980, the original one. Flashed the LS980ZVE firmware from original .tot file as it was the latest version available to date and it flashed without any error. When the phone rebooted after completing the flashing process, it was as good as new, up and running the original stock kitkat rom for this model. Tested and tried everything and never noticed any issue.
Thank you @tauheed that will help a lot of people I'm sure.
Thank reddit member cybertag out there to.

the only possible option is to flash the aboot.img and laf.img partitions. But we need to find a way to do so in your phone's current state. Things can be a lot easier if you could manage to get into fastboot mode.

I am the same problem as yours with another phone I have. It is a D800 which was wrongly flashed to D802. After flashing the D800 firmware with the model name edited, it is stuck on LG logo and it won't go to download mode either.
Not yet. I'm still waiting...total dead phone now.

LG Optimus F3 Bricked, No Boot At All
Hi all, and thanks in advance for any help received. Long story short I just bought a VM LG Optimus F3 and bricked it within an hour. Im not new to rooting, but not Dev-level either, I prepared the folders and files necessary while I waited for the phone to be delivered. Ran a root tool but it only rooted the device, no recovery partition was changed or flashed, and on rebooting into recovery, brick. Just FYI, RomToolbox told me I had TWRP installed.
With different forums and information posted I've tried entering DL Mode, running the Flash Tool, and ADB'ing the phone ( debugging Was selected prior to my screw up), but the most I get is a colored Home button sometimes. Help PLEASE.. thanx!
