i was rooting my buddies centura using poot the other day and it kept saying that... i had to switch from supersu to super user and reinstall everything and keep trying, it eventually worked by little tweaks here and there. i dont really know what else to tell ya. keep trying and dont give up.
A good start could be to check here > http://www.xda-developers.com/root/
Otherwise bunch of tutorials could be found > like this http://gs4.wonderhowto.com/how-to/root-any-samsung-galaxy-s4-one-click-0155622/
Hope it helps.

Yup:-/ I just use voodoo root keeper, temp unroot real quick before I use anything that detects it. Its stupid but at least a quick fix for the time being in these apps.

Change superuser apps to SuperSU and use it's temp unroot feature. Also if you do so make sure you update SuperSU's binary's before you delete superuser

It sort of did that... it said supersu needs to be updated. Didn't mention the binaries. When i opened the settings and didn't see the option, i figured that was the case but I wanted to be sure before I removed the old su
Thanks for verifying it for me.

I read the reviews and that's bull. There's no reason to keep rooted users blocked. Just rate it a 1 star and move on. Hopefully they'll see the error of their ways and revert the change.
Hey guys,

But someday i ran it and the button says "Waiting for service", then Superlooseruser window shows, i click "ok"... And then it gives me message that i'm not rooted. Hi,
I am about to root my Galaxy note II GT-N7100 on stock ROM.
Before doing that, I wanted to confirm weather rooting (on stock ROM) causes any security threats/vulnerability to user/device.?
I don't want people to steal my calls/communications & other private data like photos, videos, documents etc.
Thanks..
You can answer your own questions by learning what is rooting or gaining root access.

That's fine with me. I am doing that too. :good:
But taking second opinion is always a good idea.
Also, suggestions and explanations from experts boosts the confidence in the right way. :good:
As always with root related questions I think one should ask if they need the root access or not. For me many years I used my android devices without needing it. But now I dont think I can have a device without root.
Rooting allows many things and yes also opens your phones system to be altered...
But again root access controlled by SU so you know who or which app is requiring root access and it is down to you to give or deny permission when this happens.

I first want to thank everyone for their hard work in developing the awesome ROMs we have available to us today. Lately, I've been installing an assortment of 4.2 ROMs and it seems to me that I've lost a good deal of my capacity key control. The home key doesn't function at all aside from haptic feedback. It doesn't go to home or recents (if long pressed). Is anyone else dealing with this? And is there a way to fix it?

Let me know if you need help with this. If it's too tricky to follow, I can try to clear up that post or if you don't want to mess with it at all you can wipe data (you will lose your apps and settings though).
Thank you so much, I'll try this asap.

Your ROM may not have sqlite3 installed. It's not a part of busybox. Are you running pure stock right now? It should be in CM or most custom ROMs.
I'm currently on Carbon ROM where I also installed your ext4all and killjoy's standard script. I tried installing sqlite3 through an app and it keeps saying that there's not enough space...although I'm sure there is on both sd cards. I've also had adaway say similar things, but I did a work-around to fix that. Should I just try a clean install? Or is there something else you would suggest I try first?

Hi,
I have just installed the Virgin Media TV Anywhere App on my rooted N2, it states you can't stream media on rooted devices does anyone know how I could possibly by pass this?
thanks
Yep. Unroot your phone.
I would say your best bet is to search the forum for s thread regarding the sky go app.
In there there's lots of suggestions on how to circumnavigate this non rooted phone requirement.
Hope you succeed

Do you mind uploading the app or giving a download link I can't find the app anywhere. I'm sure there will be an xposed module that will bypass the root check

Virgin's TV Anywhere app is at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virginmedia.tvanywhere
I would like a version that lets me run it on a rooted device too. I don't plan to lose essential functionality such as ClockworkMod backups just for the sake of watching Virgin TV (TV Catchup does most of what I want anyway) but it'd be nice to have the option.
Andre
I'm the same would like to have the functionality of virgin TV anywhere but not at the expense of non rooted. The TV remote bit works nicely but not that bothered about that. It feels like virgin half assed this app doesnt work on KitKat either but the remote part does???
Hope someone can solve this cheers guys
If its anything like Sky Go its not going to be easy
Any solutions found to this? Have tried uninstalling SuperSU and re-installing the Virgin app but it seems to remember my device is rooted and blank out the Watch button. How would I go about clearing all memory of the Virgin app?
Thanks!
i found a way to do it! method is easy... it is working... pm for details... that is confirmed streaming channels using tv anywhere on rooted device...

Just to confirm, this works with Xposed framework & Root Cloak now. Just remember to remove it from SuperUser app permissions if you inadvertently clicked OK whilst tinkering.
Still not working on KitKat phones it seems

Once you've installed what you need to, try clearing the Virgin app's data, and then your phone's Data Chache and Dalvik, and see if that helps.
