Hey xda,
I was having problems with my gens so I decided to install a older rom and it got my gnex stuck in boot loop. Which I have before fixed by rebooting into recovery via command prompt on my computer. My problem is my computer isn't seeing my device and my volume buttons don't work so I don't know how to get into recovery to install a back up.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks everyone
I was using PA rom for a few months and everything was fine until my gnex suddenly bootloop for no reason. Wasn't flashing a new rom, or tweaking anything. Phone just crash and when i try to reboot it, it just stuck in a bootloop. Showing google, then animation screen and afterwards reboot again back to google and animation and keeps repeating.
Phone info:
-rooted
-bootloader unlocked
-on custom rom (PA ROM)
Attempt to fix problem:
-flash a diff rom ( still boot loop )
-factory reset, wipe system cache etc. ( still boot loop )
-flash factory image 4.3 ( still boot loop ) [All is done through adb, manually flash each radio, bootloader, system etc one by one ]
-flash factory image 4.0 ( still boot loop )
So currently i'm on stock android, stock recovery, stock bootloader, stock baseband etc. But it is still bootlooping, anyone know what can i do?
ps, i did search through the forum, most people got pass this problem through flashing stock image, but mine doesn't
did you erase and then flash userdata?
Similar to my problem, hope it someone knows an answer.
Same problem!
Not to hijack your thread, but I'm having the same problem -
My phone was charging and working fine. I left the room and came back and the phone was stuck at the "Google" bootloader screen. I pulled the battery and reinserted. It went to the Cyanagen boot animation, then froze. Subsequent battery pulls resulted in it freezing at the Google screen.
I can not access recovery (power + vol up + vol down), but I can access the Odin download screen (power + vol down). Odin will connect to my phone, but I can't reflash the stock firmware. After attempting to flash the firmware my phone shows the phone-triangle-computer screen regardless of what buttons I push during start up. I can still connect to Odin, but can't reflash stock. I receive the "complete write failure" message each time. I've tried switching USB ports and USB cords without success.
Sprint SPH 700
Rooted with bootloader unlocked
Running Cyanagen ROM
Any tips? Do I need to reload the PIT file? Thank you!

I finally got thru the phone to pc fail screen by using a older version of Odin(3.04).Then the flash went thru w/o a hitch. Is your PC recognizing the Phone? If not the drivers may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. I had to use the samsung usb cord and no other also.

Yup, my PC recognizes the phone. I can push partial tar files (for example, recovery only) to the phone just fine. I'll try a different version of Odin. Thanks!
Hi all,
Yesterday I unlocked the boot loader on my htc one x, it worked perfectly first time and I had no problems booting back up. I then tried to follow the instructions to rom the CM11 KitKat 4.4.4 onto the device.
Problem is I have now somehow gotten stuck in recovery, I can get back to the boot loader screen, but then never passed the recovery screen, when I installed the rom.zip file on the device it failed to install correctly. I fear I have now cleared all the rom info on the device and I am in a state of eternal recovery.
I am also working on a Mac, I know it's an android sin, but it's my wife's pc. If I plug the sub cable into the device the Mac doesn't pick it up, although the boot loader changes to fast boot use when plugged in.
Can someone please help me, I am new to this and very frustrated. I just want to get the device back to standard or just back to those screen.
Much appreciated.

Install latest Philz recovery or TWRP or CMW
Hi everyone,
I have a old Galaxy Nexus in these conditions:
- No recovery installed (tried to go into recovery by fastboot mode and no recovery is installed)
- Locked Bootloader
- The phone doesn't completely boot, it stucks in the X logo
The phone is from a friend who asked me to "save it"! What can i do in these conditions? I have tried to unbrick it, tried 2 methods i found here in xda and no luck.
I installed Android toolkit and follow the steps, 1 installed the drivers and 2 tried to unlock bootloader, it reboots into fastboot but the it stucks, i have to disconnect and connect again and the does not completely boot, it stucks in X logo
What is possible to do to save the phone? Can anyone help please?
Hello everyone,
until yesterday I was on original KitKat Samsung firmware, only rooted.
Just because several apps did not work anymore, I decided to install a new firmware.
So I flashed TWRP, reboot recovery, TWRP full screen logo appeared, then my Pro 8.4 in a second went off.
Now it didn't go on, no recovery, no download mode, nothing happens trying charging or connecting at the PC (Samsung USB drivers already installed) no lighs on the device.
What have gone wrong? What can I do?
Is it definitely bricked?
Thanks in advance.
T32?
Which TWRP?
Age of the battery?
