After flashing a ROM I can't switch on my Tab.

Can you give us some more info at all...what exact tab and which exact rom did you try? Also does anything appear in device manager when plugged into a pc? Any unknown devices...or does the pc show any signs of anything being plugged in?

Needs help to unbrick my note 8

USB seems disconnected during loading system to note 8 n5110 and as a result, it stocks at "Firmware upgrade encourtered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again". It showed no response to power key and home key. Is there any hope to reload the boot and related files to the device again for unbrick and how? Thanks a lot.

Just curious but how are you turning it on? Physically connecting the battery?
Make sure you have the Samsung device driver installed on the PC. Also might try it on another PC if you have that option and see if Odin can connect to device.
If Odin will not work might try using Heimdall: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=755265

As I said, I cannot turn it on or off. It is on when it has power. Yes, you are right, the battery is solided on the device, so I cannot take the battery off.
I have samsung decive driver installed on my PC. Without going into download mode, the PC and Odin at least can find the device, although PC only recognized it as a moderm.

Might try Heimdall and see if you have any luck with that. Link is in my previous post. Otherwise, not sure what you can do besides taking the tablet in for repair.

First, Tablet needs to be switched off. Then, press "Power" and "Volume Down" buttons together. Once the screen lightens, release the buttons and follow the instructions on the screen.
In case you need to go to recovery mode, press "Power" and "Volume Up" buttons together (also the tablet must be switched off first).

I brought it to the repair shop and they say i need a JTAG Box to repair it but i don't have one. Is there any solution to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for those who will help me.

You can try using odin... btw, your tab 3 is still charging? But not turning on? If it still have battery, try going to odin mode, hold power+down volume+menu button. If it still go there, your tab is still okay.
On your pc download odin for your pc's os, and find official roms for your tab's model. Dont download different rom model. There are many out there, just google it. Or better here in xda-developers. Just follow the instructions and your safe.
Check this link for odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738841
And this one for firmware:

I hope this helps you to bring your tab back to life.

Hmm did you do the odin recovery in yor tab? The hold power+volume down+menu button? Not just the odin in your pc. You should be in your odin recovery mode in your tab.

i think the problem is the power of your tab. the battery has no charge. going to recovery or odin recovery needs power or battery charge.
its either the battery is faulty, your charger, or the port of the tab wher u connect the charger of usb cable, theres no contact. have you tried using another charger?
Try another cable

Same issue
I too am having the same issue. I have tried everything. Different cables, holding the power, down volume, and the home button with no success. I got the unit refurbished. I think there is a week left on the 90 day warranty. Since it has a custom rom on it will that void the warranty if I have to send it in?

If it has a custom rom on it yes the warranty is now void. If you want to try to return it i would say go for it the worst thing they can do is say no but since there is no power to the unit they shouldn't be able to tell if it was bought at a store (ex. Gamestop, Ebay, Amazon) if it was bought at samsung you are probably out of luck.
I got it on eBay. Jboyd Thank you for response.
I'm waiting to hear back from Samsung. I have less than 3 days on the warranty! I hope something good comes out of this. If not, any suggestions on a replacement tablet? I'm thinking Asus MeMO 7 inch. From what I've read about it, it is a good tablet.
not charging

Hello,
do you haveyour original charger. Your pc usb port does not have sufficient current to charge a dead tablet. If you dont have an original chargr mayber you could borrow someones. Then plug it in and hold home+ power.

[Q] help, phone won't turn on after flashing 20b

Hi, I tried to flash 20b through twrp tonight.
I did factory reset, then flashed the bootstack, then flashed the system. But after that, my phone won't power on. I tried to remove the battery, holding power button for a long time, or power+volumn down.
The phone just does not respond at all. Can anybody help? Thanks!

take the battery out and put it back in and try to power it on. Repeat a few times, if that doesn't help we'll try other things.

when I had that problem I figured out that it was the battery that was making the phone act weird. Since LG sent me another battery when they had the promotion I used the other spare and that fixed it for me.
This happens right after I flashed the new system, I doubt it is the batter problem. If I plugged into the computer it still won't power on.
(If I remove the battery and plug into computer, the screen of the phone does show some symbol, probably regarding missing memory).
Let me try to see if I use kdz flash to reinstall the system. Thanks for the help.

This is why You don't flash the boot chain unless you absolutely must. I was running 20B with the old boot chain (other than rpm, that was updated) and it ran just fine. If you get a bad flash on the boot chain your sol.

Accidently flashed false firmware on Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, device is dead.

Device doesn't boot anymore but still is recognized by my computer. The led blinks for a few seconds when it charges or when the power button is pressed. If you know anything that could possibly solve my problem, please do not hesitate to answer.

From the Xiaomi Mi 5 I think. It only recognizes that a device is connected. I did not because adb didn't identify it anymore. But I'll try. Thanks for your help!
