CM for Tab 3 10.1

Hey guys,
Please forgive me i am kinda new to all the modding my New Tab 3. Just want to mod it and install CM 10.2 if there is a port. So my first question, is there a port for CM 10.2 for Tab 3. If there is any howto guide as i am completely a newbie.

has anyone been able to update the canvas 4 to android 4.4 kitkat. please reply cause im running a custom rom and i dont know whether update has been released or not.

kitkat has released for blu life mobiles and we can use for be loved canvas 4 and for all mtk devices

I am also using SGS duos . But I changed my os to a custom version . I can't get any update from India .

Sorry for the late answer . I am using kyleopen now . I also tested pmp ultra on my s duos and a fake cyanogenmod also .

pmp ultra is the most stylish rom compared to other . I don't know anything about cyanogenmod . Now I am using self edited stock rom .

this device is no longer in the development process. do not think about any updates.
but yes there is a way to install jellybean and other custom rom by installing custom recovery on this device. root it and install custom recovery download supported rom , flash it in recovery and enjoy :laugh:

Well is it safe to flash gt-I9060I firmware on gt-I9060??? I think that the hardware specifications of both gt-I9060I and gt-I9060 seems same

Hey there,
I can confirm that the ROMs for model GT-I9060I (and M) are not working on GT-I9060 (and DS)... what the hell is it with those models anyway? I can't seem to find any reference to them other than live.samsung-updates.com.
The "I" model (GT-I9060I) is also called Galaxy Grand Neo Plus (WTF?!)
...don't know about the "M" model... but they all seem the same.
Anyway, I think we will have a KitKat ROM for our standard GT-I9060 (standard Galaxy Grand Neo/Lite) soon, as well.
Probably in the next days-weeks.
Hopes are high.

Odin 3.10 does not install it on the device (Device is in download mode [Vol_Down + Home + Power];
Fail, probably due to incorrect handshake with the device during initial recognition phase (ID not matching to that of a GT-I9060I ??) .
Don't know, really, but, by watching live.samsung-updates.com, I can see that Samsung is updating everything (even S3 LTE) to at least KitKat these days.
Fingers crossed waiting for KitKat officially for GT-I9060 (Galaxy Grand Lite -- not NEO [as it seems, but they are 100% identical])

Well, i'll try making a custom rom for grand neo with system.img and boot.img from Grand Neo Plus, maybe it will work.
Also, 99% sure that Samsung will never update Grand Neo to 4.4.4

Please Give it a try and let us know the outcomes. Don't know why this device has got a very little support from Samsung?????

An experienced developer can surely port kitkat to Grand Neo/Lite. Also Samsung is not going to offer kitkat update to Grand Neo/Lite probably due to launch of Grand Neo Plus.
