Can't install Xposed on my LG G3 - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Maybe somebody can help me here. I dunno why, but I can't install Xposed on my G3. I wanted to use the G3 Tweakbox. Right now I'm using the latest ChupaChups-ROM. Maybe there is a incompatibility? Always getting this message, can't click the install button.

There is no way to use Xposed if you are on ART. Check if you are on ART.

Thanks for your advise. I know that ART is standard for Android 5.0. Is there any way to change this option? Or do I have to use a ROM with Android KK?

Art is the only option available for Lollipop. You'll need Kitkat if you want dalvik

Okay, thanks. So I have to resign Xposed for now. I really like Android L and don't want to downgrade to Android KK. Will there be a possibility to use Xposed with ART some time soon?

As the author of Xposed declared a while ago: for now, there isn't any chance. It may be available in future, but even if so, it would require probably months of work. Search the forums for the original topic and you will see the FAQs for Xposed on Lollipop.

You can accomplish that with xposed framework... found HERE:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Then all you need to do is install, the module APP seething! And you can perform any dpi changes you want on any Rom of your choice!!

Thanks. I have tried xposed framework and build prop but some Sammy apps get borked, meaning the layout is off like on the dialer and calculator, etc. Im running AT&T's latest stock rooted rom.

I think i saw someone talking about the same problem in another post, but i can't remember where..
That beeing said, i did'nt feel any more smoothness running ART on G3...It had some issues as i belive it will work better for Android L.

That box is normal when switching to art.
You sure if the box is normal, also does anyone know if ART works with VT ROM?

Does Highlight Reel work on your device? On mine it gets stuck forever at 'Preparing Highlight Reel'
Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i try to copy it to system/priv-app and yess it work
tested on stock moto g XT-1033 retail asia 4.4.4
@Sandivisi any new features on that update?? can u give some screenshot
what are the new features the app gets from this update?
Nothing significant, i think. The only difference I noticed UI-wise is the wide-screen toggle icon.
Does the highlights work?
dont think so. i think it needs system module from moto x to make it work

I had something similar happen once because I had widgets activated on the lockscreen through the default settings as well as another setting for it in xtended app settings and/or sense toolbox, etc. disabling one or the other is what fixed it for me(in my case I disabled the default setting in sense and left the xtended settings). Anyways, that's all I can think of...maybe something to try at least.
I once saw a mod that allow you to change the transparency of your lockscreen. Try removing xposed and reflash your rom and see how is it

Sorry I should clarify, I don't have xposed, I have tried wiping everything and installing new Roms, I have also tried reflashing my twrp recovery in case I by accident flashed one that wasn't gsm.

It'll though I still suspect that a mod must have done that to your lockscreen

No , but here is a link to stock firmwares.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=54155517
I spent at least 3 days reading thru the forums before I attempted anything with this phone. Most of this info is readily available and usually on the first page of the threads pages.
