Broken screen

HI there
Unfortunatly my beloved's screen is broken
Before I check fixing option I would like to try and understand what am I dilling with
The device works ofine
Screen glass is splintered but responds to touch quiet alright
A small yellow spot In the center
Does the yellow spot mean that the board under the glass is damaged as well ... or I can save it by replacing glass only ?
At eBay I find two options
Full LCD Display + Touch Screen Digitizer Assembly - 80 $
New Touch Screen Digitizer Glass Assembly - 30 $
Do you Know wether the parts over at Ebay are quality ... or sould I not mess with it and pay full price by sending my beloved to a HTC lab ?

[Q] Cracked screen

Hey guys, today I dropped my Desire HD and the screen cracked. The touchscreen works fine, so my guess is that the LCD is not affected, only that glass ontop of it. Is there any way I can change it without replacing the whole LCD screen?

If it's just the glass that's cracked and everything else is fine (No visible cracks/defects in the LCD itself) then you just need to get a new Digitizer. This is the glass panel on top of the LCD that picks up the touch input.
You can pick them up for pretty cheap on ebay, postage will depend on where you live. In my case I can get one for €18 from an English seller including postage to Ireland so should be similarly priced for wherever you live. [Q] Separate LCD & Digitizer

I have had a bad luck and my phone fell out of my pocket and got cracks on the screen, i think its digitizer because the picture is all perfect inside the screen otherwise the liquid would have defiantly came out of the LCD!!!
I have tried pressing on the cracked class and see if liquid comes out or it forms a black spot or anything but nothing happened!!!
The combo of LCD & Digitizer costs 2500-4000 Indian Rupees while only 800Rs for Digitizer so i am thinking of only buying figitizer from ebay but i dont know any way to separate the LCD & Digitizer
Anyone have any idea on doing that and how can i put the digitizer back on LCD?

Hw much it cost to replace screen on Samsung Gt-i9300? Mine is broken and im being quote with diff prices to replace it..

The original samsung branded screen will cost around Rs.7000 to Rs.8000 (~ $110 to $130)

If broken colors, then LCD Screen+Touch Digitizer 80$ at ebay.

broken digitizer, help!!

Hello all,
I have a cracked screen and need a new digitizer. I checked on ebay and I do not know if these options are worth. Specifically, are the digitizer options online similar to the resolution and quality of the authentic one?
Does anyone have to offer a guidance on which replacement digitizer should I buy?
