Does the Note 4 Verizon have gapless playback on Google Play Music app?
I currently have the M8 and as much as I like this phone the lack of gapless playback is driving me crazy.
Anyone?
I have Note 4 also and there is no option for gapless playback, even an app that I purchased for it doesn't have this issue solved.

So are any of you having issues with audio being out of sync with youtube videos? It's not just on the youtube app that I have this problem, I also have it when I play youtube through flash (Youtub.com). The video and audio are very noticeably out of sync. I've seen many threads with HTC devices having similar issues. But haven't seen anyone with a GS3 report such an issue. Now when I watch and mkv video, all is fine. It's only the youtube app and youtube.com.
Are you streaming the audio to a bluetooth device?

Well looks like bluetooth was the issue. Video/audio is in sync on the phone and headphones. Thanks.
I seem to be getting an audio sync issue with most of my movie playbacks on my N2 either with stock player or the MXplayer, these videos play fine on a Galaxy S2 though, I have the latest updates (stock), is there anything worth trying?

After further testing, almost all of my movies/series are affected unless I switch to S/W mode under MX player. So this happens like 10-15mins of continuous playing, not out right.. Im guessing this has something to do with the HW acceleration on the Note 2 or JB since the S2 I tested it with has zero issues. Infact some movies I've watched on my S2 and Note1 have sync issues on the N2.
I've noticed that while listening to music with play music there is a very noticeable cracking/static. I thought it may be caused by streaming with a poor connection but when I played music I had on the device, same thing.
I googled this problem and found some folks with the same issue but no fix to be found. Basically wondering if any one here with a note 3 has had this problem? Any other music player works fine.

How does music playback work on the Smartwatch 3? What software does it use to play back music, and does it support FLAC files? Also, how many hours of playback can you get?

It's very convenient to use Play Music on the SW3 when paired with your smartphone. Walkman works well (with my Xperia Z3) although I can't begin to play music from it (as yet I know how to) with Walkman because it thinks I'm trying to access music from the watch itself, which is unfortunately not the case, Play Music has the option to "Play from phone" or ("Play from Watch" -> which would require headphones paired to the watch itself.) As for Flac files, I have no idea, but my phone recognizes and plays Flac, and Walkman can change the song from the watch.
Thanks for the info. I've been thinking about getting one so I can forego my smartphone while jogging or cycling. I guess the lack of FLAC isn't a deal breaker, particularly when you consider the watch only has around 4GB of storage.
it does play flac files, even hi-res ones
Hi, i am facing a strange problem with my rn8pro. When i listen to music with the stock player(mi music) or google play music and others with wired earphones, theres some microstuttering. The only apps with smooth playback i have found are poweramp and vlc. Is this a known bug?It was from the day i purchased it.Youtube plays ok too.I have updated to android 10 global rom. I have also set no restrictions to the battery saver for mi music and google play music.I noticed that when the display is on, there s smooth playback with all apps, including mi music and play music.

Try locking it to memory, probably it's dozing when screen is turned off.

Well, mine just gone nuts a while ago! The whole goddamn device is stuttering! Read this thread I made regarding the same issue: https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...itically-unexpected-stutters-overall-t4078995
