[Q] Gapps help

I've installed the latest Cyanogenmod, the latest CWM 3.0.2.4, fixed permissions in the rom manager, and I still cant get the gapps to install. I attempted to install the suggested gapps for cyanogen 7, and no luck.
When I attempt to install it reads:
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
Installation aborted.
When I select to enable signature verification, it then reads it failed signature verification.
The process I use to attempt to install the gapps is, I open the Rom Manager, select reboot into recovery and then install zip file from sd.
I've tried several different versions of the gapps, and still no luck.
I have researched this for the past few hours and I can not get this to work at all. I do have it rooted, everything else installed fine, with no complications. But I am very much stuck at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I figured it out on my own. When you use CWM3, just go to download rom instead of manually doing it.

[Q] Getting CyanogenMod on LG Nitro - Issues

Hello,
I have just rooted my LG Nitro with the Bin4ry root kit, followed a video tutorial. Can't post links because this is my first post on XDA Developers, unfortunately.
Everything seemed to work as expected.
Then I installed ROM Manager, and have proceeded with install instructions for CyanogenMod specific to my phone (I will post this after the end of my message as a reference since again, no links are possible).
In these instructions I began at "Installing a Custom Recovery Image" because the rooting instructions do not work for my phone (it has ICS installed, hence the need for the Bin4ry root method). I'm following the steps to the letter, and got stuck at "Boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery" - when I try doing this, SuperUser pops up and I grant permission to ROM Manager, and then it reboots - but instead of getting any option to install CyanogenMod, it hangs at the LG logo boot screen, with some command line-ish startup text along the top:
Secure booting Error!
Cause: boot certification verify
Enter the fastboot....
Enter the fastboot....
Long time no see!
-----
It will hang here until I hold down the button for 10 seconds or pull the battery. It will reboot normally afterwards though, thankfully. The phone is still working as-is so I'm not dead in the water, but my goal was to install CyanogenMod... is this still possible?
Thank you in advance.

Installing a Custom Recovery Image
If the LG Nitro HD already has a custom Recovery Image installed, you may skip this section.
Search for ROM Manager in the Market (free or paid) and install the app.
Open the ROM Manager application and select Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
Click on LG Nitro HD and then give the app root permission if it prompts you.
If it hangs after that and freezes up, just allow the app to Force Close. Then open it back up and repeat steps 2 & 3.
Once the flash was successful, you should see a dialog box that says "Successfully flashed ClockworkMod recovery!".
Press OK.
The ClockworkMod Recovery should now be installed on the LG Nitro HD.
Flashing CyanogenMod
If the LG Nitro HD has been rooted, unlocked, etc. through steps other than the method described above or running a custom ROM other than CyanogenMod and you are having issues flashing or booting CyanogenMod, it is recommended the LG Nitro HD be returned to stock & start over with the full instructions provided above.
Method via Recovery
Download the latest version of CyanogenMod.
Optional: Download the Google Apps for the device.
Place the CyanogenMod update.zip file on the root of the SD card.
Optional: Place the Google Apps .zip on the root of the SD card also.
Boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery.
Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the side volume buttons to move around, and either the power button or the trackball to select.
Optional: Select backup and restore to create a backup of current installation on the LG Nitro HD.
Select the option to Wipe data/factory reset.
Then select the option to Wipe cache partition.
Select Install zip from sdcard.
Select Choose zip from sdcard.
Select the CyanogenMod update.zip.
Optional: Install the Google Apps by performing steps 7 - 9 again and choosing the Google Apps update.zip.
Once the installation has finished, select +++++Go Back+++++ to get back to the main menu, and select the Reboot system now option. The LG Nitro HD should now boot into CyanogenMod.
Method via ROM Manager
Launch RomManager.
Optional: Choose the first option in the app, Flash ClockworkMod Recovery to update to the latest version.
Select the Download ROM option from the main menu in the ROM Manager.
Select the CyanogenMod option, and then choose the latest version of CyanogenMod from the menu.
Optional: When you select the latest version of CyanogenMod, check the Google Apps option.
Once the ROM is finished downloading, it asks if you would like to Backup Existing ROM and Wipe Data and Cache.
If Superuser prompts for root permissions check to Remember and then Allow.
The LG Nitro HD will now reboot into the recovery, wipe data and cache, and then install CyanogenMod. When it's finished installing it will reboot into CyanogenMod.
LG has a locked boot loader, that is the reason for the security error. To get around that use the following unbricking guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044645.
Since you already have root, just make sure you complete steps 1 - 3, then jump to step 9.

(Solved) L310: rooted but unable to install CM12.1 - Error-Message included

Hi,
after giving 4.4.2-StockROM a (long) try, I wanted to install [SM-T31X][5.1.1] CyanogenMod 12.1 unofficial build (by tohenk).
I followed the instruction for TWRP-Installation and the one for CM12.1 by tohenk.
Doing so, I installed TWRP via Odin 3.09 (successful).
To root the T310, I had to install the zip "ROOT_SGT3_8.0.zip". (also successful)
Reentering TWRP to flash the CM12.1-zip, I selected the file from internal SD-Card, getting a warning that the file shall not be compatible - having had the same with the root-zip, i swiped to install.
Resulting in the error (got a screenshot, but can't link it - to few posts):
"Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset.
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/fw/cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-lt01wifi.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/fw/cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-lt01wifi.zip"
... as offered by TWRP, i reset the Dalvik-Cache, rebooted. All Apps have been reinitialized, rebooted again into TWRP, getting the same Error.
So I installed philz_touch_6.08.9-lt01wifi.zip - but getting the same Error...
At the moment, I'm stucked with rooted StockROM...
..what did I miss?
(thanks for any help)

Edit:
Found the error:
prepareing the Flash-Procedure, I did a "factory reset" from within StockROM-Settings.
After performing a Factory-Reset out of PhilzTouch and wiping Dalvik-Cache (without rebooting the GT3 after Wiping), I was capable to install the CM12.1-zip, which runs perfectly fine now...
(somewhere it should be mentioned "do the factory reset from recovery, not from within ROM"
tohenk: you did a wonderful Job on the CM12.1-ROM! Thank you!!
I'm having the same issue.... so I installed Philz_touch_6.19.3 but I still can't flash any of the ROM's for T310...
Do you have any suggestions?
My tablet start up to SAMSUNG TAB 3 logo and stuck there...

[X01BD] Open Gapps Aroma Installation Bug

Recently I tried the Open Gapps Aroma Installer where after installation, my phone was only rebooting into recovery. Fastboot was not working and also the rom was not booting. The Screen flash 2 times and again and again it was booting into recovery. So I tried to install a ROM again (Clean method) and it was giving me Error7. Only the stock ROM I was able to install but it didn't worked, again it boot into recovery mode (I was using orange fox). Then I force shut down the device by holding power button for 10sec and it then successfully booted into OS. That's it! If anyone face the same problem, don't PANIC!
Its a known issue with Aroma gapps.... Just mount /system before installing aroma gapps...
