printing emails out - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have the smt-800.....and my trusty wireless printer, but when I try to print out any emails, it prints a huge number of pages and in a massive font.
This is using the default app and default printer plug-in. Searching around seems to reveal nothing, so anyone got any solutions? To print easily and simplyrics through the tab to my printer in less than half a rain forest per smallish mail.
Thanks

Without knowing what printer you have it is hard to suggest a solution. I have an HP wireless printer and using the included HP wireless plugin that came installed with my Tab S 10.5 I was able to print perfectly first try, the tablet found my printer and set everything up. I did notice there are two wireless printing solutions, the Samsung plugin and the HP plugin, I turned the Samsung one off and am just going with the HP plugin.

I have an HP printer, I can print. Ails but it prints them in more like a screen shot so it spends ages printing black text on a very light grey background. Takes up multiple pages depending on the zoom level I have on the screen. It's just very odd, won just brink black on white and the odd page increase and font size.
Even rendering it to a pdf has the same effect, all very odd, might try a non Samsung mail client and see if that helps any

Got sand in iPhone 4 usb thing. Now usb charger won't work?

So i got sand in the USB thing at the bottom of the iphone and now the usb cable won't work so i cant charge it or connect it to itunes. I've tried blowing compressed air in to it, sucking the sand out, cleaning it with a brush but it still wont work.
Before it ran out of battery it said 'Charging is not supported with this accessory' when I tried to charge it or connect it to my computer.
Help?
LOL. I would say contact apples customer service. I once cracked the screen of my 2nd gen ipod touch and took it to the Apple store. This was back when the 3rd gen was just released. The guy looked at it and replaced it with a 3rd gen ipod for FREE! I would see if you could get just as lucky

[Q] Is it possibe to view email and gmail messages in full screen mode?

I use both the native gmail app and the native email app (for my exchange account), but one thing REALLY annoys me:
I can't view emails in full screen mode while in landscape position, the way most people use their tablets. In Gmail while in landscape view, it's a split screen with a list of all your emails on the left, and the message being viewed on the right. But on our A100's you can't seem to turn off the split view, or even resize the divider. And yes, I know if I turn the tablet into portrait mode, the list disappears and the email itself is full screen...it's just that I like working in landscape mode on this tablet.
I've researched this and MOST other tablets have a setting letting you turn off the left side email list, but that setting isn't present in our device for some reason.
Anyone know a solution/work around?
Secondly, in the native email application (for exchange accounts and all other non-google accounts), I can hide the list all messages view and see the email in full screen, but half the window is taken up by the huge bar indicating who the message is from, the subject/date, and being able to forward/reply/favourite the message. This area is HUGE on our small 7" screens.
On my phones running gingerbread 2.3.x, this area disappears as you scroll down. If you want it, just scroll back up to the top of the message. That's a perfect solution Google came up with...so why isn't it like that on our A100's?
Anyone know a work around or outright solution?
Thanks
I completely agree that I wish I could view emails in full screen. Maybe we will see that in ICS. In a perfect world, one tap would show it in framed mode and a second tap would open it full screen.
It's dumb because my SE Xperia Pro running Gingerbread 2.3.4 shows me emails in full screen. When I scroll down the page, everything at the top like sender, date, subject, next/previous message, etc stays at the top of the email, but not the screen. So emails are actually full screen.
I switched from a motorola milestone running gingerbread 2.3.7 via cyanogen(mod)7, and it did the same thing.
I should note this only works with the built in email app, but not the gmail app. The gmail app's not bad though. It still shows the info at the top when I scroll down, but it's in a very very condensed form. If it were like that on our A100's, it'd be livable.
This inconsistency doesn't make much sense to me. I understand google's thinking, in that since tablets have bigger screens we can afford to see that info at the same time as read the message content. But that's with bigger 10" screens. Once you go down to 7" it no longer makes sense.
Yeah, the reason from the change was due to Gingerbread being designed for phones and Honeycomb being designed for tablets. They should have done some more testing on 7" devices in terms of email formats. If it is just text, it really isn't that bad, but when you get some newsletter type emails that are HTML, it is very annoying.

few things from my limited experience with wp7

long time android user, just switched to a focus s on wednesday.
so far, i have been really liking the wp experience. here's a few issues i have had so far though.
when playing audio through headphone (to my car stereo), there are clicks in the audio between songs. as if it's changing audio device back and forth.
no start page in IE? whenever i open it, it just starts from the last page i was at. don't really like that since if my kids pick it up and go to IE, i could have been viewing something they should have been (lol no goat porn)
contacts can only have 2 emails? i personally have 5 different email accounts for different side businesses that i have. i set up myself as a contact so i can easily send it to others as a business card and it would have all of my contact info on it. i'm really limited with only being able to have 2 emails. i can add them all to my profile on live.com, but, i can't add my addresses there. am i missing something here?
other than these, the change over has been a great experience. the google sync and smart merging easily pulled all my contacts and organized them. the stability has been great as well and i keep telling myself to stop looking at battery percentage every hour (lol bad habits die hard).
the focus s is the most beautiful piece of hardware i have ever owned as well. and really compliments wp7. i'm really looking forward to more wp updates as the os grows out of infancy. can't wait to see what this will be like once it's fully polished.
oh and another i miss... xbmc remote. i have tried a few from the market place. 1 doesn't work at all. and the ones that work, have a horrible interface. the ones that look good, don't work right.
i wish the remotes on the ones that worked, looked more like the regular xbmc app, rather than trying to match metro with making buttons look like text in square boxes.
Not sure what you mean about the two email thing I have some contacts with 3

yeah, 3... lol, i need more than 3. you get personal, work and other.
The sound issue when using the headphone jack applies to any powered speakers. In other words, car audio connections, desktop speaker connections, etc. This issue forced me to return the Focus S and replace it with the HTC Titan. I couldn't be more happy and the Titan does not exhibit this sound issue.
Battery life is awesome
the focus s is a beautiful phone..
I can't wait until TELUS finally gets some new wp7 phones.
Hopefully before my upgrade so i don't have to go back to android

You could pin 'google.com' to your start screen and unpin IE. That way, your kids will see google.com
(IE would still be accessible in the full list of programs. However, it's easy to click the tile so your kids would probably just do that. Also, possible they could see previously open tabs using the tabs menu).
Hi if you wish to share your contact info with others download this app "my contact tile: and set it up. You'll get a live tile with QR code that someone else can scan then they will be able to add you to their contact list easily.

im not sure if you can add multiple emails though but give it a try

[Q] Gmail & html email handling

Hi there
I have previously been using iPhones (since the very beginning), but bucked the trend after the long wait for the... iphone 4s.
Anyway, am loving the GNex, but one thing that "annoys" me, coming from an iphone, is how html emails are handled.
On the iphone, html is sized to fit the screen, and you can pinch to zoom in as necessary.
On the gnex, html emails in gmail are full sized, and I cant see any option to make them fit the screen.
This also makes switching from 1 mail to the next more of a chore as you have to finger swipe multiple times just to get to the next mail.
Anyway know if any work is being done by Google to address this, or if there is some other workaround?
Cheers

S-note sync with Evernote broken after reset

Did a factory reset on my S3 as it was filled with who knows what and running out of memory. Now sadly after trying several versions of S-note, none seem to sync anymore. This was my prime reason for wanting to stick with S-note instead of watered down Samsung Notes, or LectureNotes.
So now my dilemma is maybe find a new solution. But I need something that keeps things in sync across a Tab S3, a Note 9 and a laptop. And can add updates in any of those places. Concerns:
Samsung Notes: no syncing to laptop, some way primitive.
LectureNotes: also no sync to laptop. Can use foldersync between the android devices but no automated laptop solution. Also pixel based. Prefer vector.
S-Note. Sync with Evernote broken, thus no PC solution.
OneNote. Klunky and primitive as far as pen usage, but seems to fill the bill otherwise I think.
Mandatory needs:
1. Auto-sync as outlined above. Read only on laptop is acceptable. Ok with using foldersync and OneDrive.
2. Robust pen usage with multiple background choices (lined, graph, etc.).
3. PDF output option. Extra points if it can be automated. If automated this solves the laptop reading issue.
Any help?
