There was a watch face on facer I could never get to actually show up on my Moto 360 in the facer app. So I made my own watch face inspired by it. Contains a couple swear words.

If you unzip it you get your *.face file.
Edit: Now after I tried for myself I know what you mean. Sorry ...
Still can't import it into Facer
You open facer app. ..There is a watch with arrows icon (import) on the top right. ..click on it and locate and press the zip file you downloaded. ..it will automatically import into facer

can't
When I try to import, it just shows a black screen on the app and on my moto 360
Change .zip to .face
Anyone managed to import this?
Worked for me extract with es file explorer then moved the folder to the facer folder

Use Watchmaker app. I tried Facer and it didn't work. I used Watchmaker and I didn't even need to extract zip

Right this might sound really stupid cos I'm not technical and all but I really wanna buy this watch for my boyfriend - where would I get it from? Xoxoxox
I've tried changing the .watch or .face files to .zip and expanded them, but there aren't any images in them, just unix files.
How are you guys actually making watch faces? I want to give it a shot and make some for WatchMaker, but I'm lost on where to start.. dunno dimensions, how to animate, etc.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hey, is there a way to make watchfaces on the pc??
I read about an application for windows but i just cant seem to find it ANYWHERE!.. Help me out if you know of something.
It works just like watchmaker but its on the pc..
I thi k making these on a computer would be super easy!
Thanks, cheers!!
I thought that's what people were doing! You're making them in WatchMaker??
Well, that explains why I couldn't figure it out. I have WatchMaker Pro, been tinkering with it, but I guess I didn't catch the feature where I can actually make the watch faces with it. I thought I had to import them.
In that case, my next question is how do I find the directories to save the images, etc? The path shows up in WatchMaker when I browse for files, but the actual path doesn't seem to exist on my phone. I've gone into the folder where they're supposed to be, but nothing's there.
edit: never mind, got it sorted

I made a face on watchmaker but how can I share it? Can't figure out how to upload the face I can only get the pic.
I've tried to do some searching on this topic, but haven't quite come up with a solid answer.
Is there a way to have multiple custom watch faces on the watch at the same time? I have several which I'd like to switch between on the watch. WHen showing off my new toy though, having to pull out the phone to apply them isn't as 'neat' when showing off the custom watch faces to a friend than just making the switch right on the watch.
A strategy I thought of is to install both Facer and WatchMaker (I currently only have WatchMaker). Then, I could probably hold 2 custom faces since I'd be able to press and hold and go back and forth between the two apps. That should work, right?
Does anyone else know another way I could possibly accomplish having more than one custom watch face on the device at a time?
Thanks,
Zeustopher

Thanks for the link.
So with this app, will it let me choose between multiples right on the watch? From the description of the app it looks like it is designed for you to preselect a few watch faces and then it automatically changes between them after a specified amount of time. Thats not quite what I was looking for, but could still prove to be useful.
Also - as an update from my original post, I've purchased Facer as well and it does now allow me to hold 2 custom watch faces since I can choose a watch face for WatchMaker and a different one for Facer and then switch between them on my watch.
Thanks,
Zeustopher
I too have both face and watch maker.. Switch between these two and moto my design watch face...
Spoilt by the watch faces I have.. I feel the need to keep changing them frequently

Sorry, can't help there. I read an article about the app. Never tested it myself.
Hello Everyone,
I made my 1st watch face today. It is not perfect, but still looks good. Hence wanted to share it.
Have got both watchmaker and facer files now. But henceforth will make for watchmaker only since it is a much better app than facer.
The zip files have both the versions in them, so extract and choose the correct version.
Thanks
Too bad it doesnt open in watchmaker

The latest Facer update enables "copy protection" so Watchmaker won't import anymore.
Any chance of creating this face - http://www.authenticwatches.com/tag-heuer-kirium-wl1180-ft6000.html#.VKK5xf-CADA?
Thanks.
Hi Bikegeek. Right now I am not taking requests since I am still learning how to make watch faces. I will keep your request in mind once I get good at it. The Tag Heuer F1 was something I was trying to remember my old gimp skills on.
Sorry for now BIkegeek.

As of this version, his "copy protection" is laughable and won't take more than a few seconds for the WatchMaker dev to get past it, if he wants to. The Facer dev is taking the json file and converting it to base64.
For example, the OP's latest watch face's "protected" watchface.json file looks like this if you open it in a text editor:
Code:

I'll make sure my next update to my Face Viewer app 1) works with these new files and 2) un-protects them for ya.
To the OP: very nice job on the two you've done so far. Very good eye for detail.
looking good, keep up the good work
My 3rd watch face is up. Check the 1st post for details. I used the badapps.fr version as a source and modified it.
The Helvetica Mondaine is up.
Does anyone know if I can get the #Dd# date displayer to display with two digits. For example : 04 instead of just 4.
Thanks

Hello guys,
So I'm thinking about getting a galaxy watch or active watch, but I have some questions.
I've read of ACL, but seem that it isn't working, so right now there isn't anyway to install apk's on the watch?
Is it possible to donwload the paid apps that are available on the store and sideload it to the watch?
The same for the watch faces
Is there any website that carries this tpk's and faces that can be downloaded and sideloaded to the watch?
Thank you in advance.
Hello daweasel27,
1.) At the moment, sadly no. You can check progress on ACL/Android Wear port here:
ACL: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...ions-sideloading-apps-tweaking-t3917082/page3.
Android Wear: https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/gear-s3/gear-s3-android-wear-port-wip-t3584588/page75
2/3/4.) Yes, but this isn't really the place to ask that, a ton of people are developers here so piracy isn't the best way to thank them for their hard work. But I'd imagine some googling would turn you up .TPK files.
Hope that helps,
