Hi,
I have problem with stock photos app on Nexus 4, Android 5.0.1. Stock photos app doesn't show photos and images in fullscreen. I tryed different aspect ratio, but still no change. Only Stories are displayed in full screen (no statusbar, or buttons). Also there is a problem with sharpenin, some photos are shown in low resolution and even that they are on device, it doesn't load Hi-res ones. Can anyone help me?

1. Why are the pictures that my friends send to me via whatsapp, viber, etc smaller than the actual hox screen? I never had this issue when I used my HTC Sensation, and when I transferred the photos from the Sensation to my hox, the photos are smaller as well. Is there a resolution that I need to change? On the other hand, the photos that I take with my hox, always appear full size on the screen.
2. How do I disable wallpaper scrolling? Due to this, I am not able to get a full picture that I want to set. As many will know, we are only able to crop a certain area of the photo. I remember my Sensation had this issue but I some how bypassed it and was able to set any of my photos as a wallpaper.
Thanks a lot

1. The screen resolution of the HOX is 720x1280 pixels, whilst the sensation is 540x960 pixels. Your friend's photo may be smaller than the actual resolution, hence looks smaller. That's what came to my head.
2. Unfortunately, that's what I hate about the wallpaper customisation, what I do is go to Google Play and download the app "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper". It's confusing at first to use, however, it's the best app (I believe) out there.

thanks a lot, ill give it a shot!
I have the latest CM 10.1 d2spr nightly and I'm noticing that when I take a picture (either with the camera app or another app that has camera support), I have no preview of it after it's taken.
For instance, in the Facebook app, once you take a photo, you're given a checkmark and an X to decide whether or not you want to accept or reject the taken photo. With mine, I take the picture, the screen flashes to indicate the photo's been taken, but the on-screen image continues in camera mode. So I have no idea what the picture I've just taken looks like.
Is everybody's like this or just mine and there's a setting I haven't noticed to change yet?

I have the same problem, apparently the solution is to use a custom camera app for those in-app photos and use the native app to take regular pictures... I'm still trying to figure out how though
Many of you may have realized, but our camera app and the 4.3 camera app crops the long sides of an image in the viewfinder. The image is still the full 4:3 when you view it in the gallery, but the 16:10 ratio of our screens means our beginners don't display the full preview before a shot.
This has really been running my composition and I get some unplanned but still valuable space above and below my pictures. Had I seen it in the viewfinder, I could have accounted for it.
Does anyone know of a camera app that displays the full 4:3 image, even if it means I get black bars on the viewfinder. I'd gladly live with the black bars I'd it means I can see the whole image below I take it.

Hey!
I received my tabpro and i notice so much lag in games like simpsons tapped out. My girlfriend has Tab 3 and it runns perfectly. Is it about the resolutions, since i have 2560x1600. Is there any way to lower my resolution or do I have to install custom ROM.
And why my homescreen resolution is not that 2560x1600. My image is 2560x1600 and it looks nice in gallery but after i use it as my wallpaper on homescreen it gets blurry.
I thought this tablet is powerfull in games and so on. But i am very disappointed. All help is needed so help me to to get clean rom or just help to lower my resolutions.
Any suggestions?
I'd like to know this aswell.

It should be possible to change the resolution of an app with "app settings", an XPosed Framework module. (root required)
When you set an image as your wallpaper it gets zoomed in (as it has to fit screen and scroll horizontal), therfore, the pixels of the image won't match pixels on the screen anymore and get re-calculated, making the picture blurry.

My wife has a Note 2 and she's addicted to Instagram
But she is having a problem like since forever.
She uses the Instagram built in camera (since it catches what she wants), but she points the camera to an object for example and when she takes the picture it comes out cropped below. In other words, what she previews in the camera doesn't get photographed. There is a side (smaller cut) and bottom (larger cut) offset from what she sees and what she gets in the final picture.
Any help?
Can someone test this? Thanks!
Anyone to test this, please?
Bump:crying:
AFAIK , Instagram camera works that way . There's nothing that can be done for the moment .
However , I often use this method
Capture an image
Use Photo Grid to resize it ( It will automatically resize the entire image so that it can fit into Instagram )
Hope it'll helps
It only does this in Note 2. I have LG G3 and image is not cropped. Neither my previous phones.
Thanks for you answer!
