Help flashing boot.img kernel
Hi,
I'm new in this forum but I read it really often. This is my first post and just wanted some help in flashing stock kernel. I was using xluco's kernel V3 but now want to go back to stock. Already downloaded boot.img posted in xluco's thread, but don't know how to flash it.

Assuming you are rooted. The easiest way is to download flashify from the play store

Not sure if it's a kernel or rom issue but I'm on hyperdrive 3.0 with xluco and I bought this dual flashdrive:

Which works perfect on my S4 with KK, it gets detected without problems by the SM-P600 but I cannot explore with either My Files or ES Explorer, it gives me a systemui FC.
Anybody else can test?

kernel failure
Hi Xluco,
I tested your kernel V3B4 which works fine. But as you can see in the Feature Request's to your post I want to include mouse/keyboard-hid usb-gadget support to the kernel. So I started from samsung kernel sources P600XXUCND3 SM-P600_EUR_KK_Opensource.zip and compiled them. But I cannot get to work even this stock samsung kernel, when I build it (export ARCH=arm, CROSS_COMPILE=/home/developer/android/arm-eabi-4.6/bin/arm-eabi- and then I used a modified version of your make image.sh).
After installing the kernel (the same way as I installed your kernel) I get a reboot-loop.
Can you please share how you build your kernel.

I installed the kernel but now whenever I shutdown my tablet and plug the charger, it turns on by itself

If i`m not wrong, v4-b3 is the beta version, while v4-rc1 is the release candidate.

I run the script, but the system always reset the GPU Freq to 800 .

Does anybody knows how to pair a bluetooth keyboard with this tablet? it keeps asking me for an input code, which i cant text it at all . How can i connect to the keyboard without having to be asked to type in that code?

@pictorul20 Normally too hace too type coge using keyboard you are trying to pair and then push enter. I mean the physical keyboard.

Over clock cpu using Phantom 11 rom

I am using Phantom 11 ROM on my international galaxy note 2 (GT-N7100). This is fast and stable no doubt but I want to overclock cpu. Is there any possibility to do with this rom or I have to flash some kernel. I already tried to flash perseus kernel but after flashing my phone was not booting up. Currently reverted back to my backup.
Can you please help me to overclock cpu with this rom?

Kindly help with this error, this is the first time i am flashing a custom rom into device, successfully flashed but after rebooting i am getting a error "unfortunately keyguard test activity has stopped" flashed using 2.6.31 as instructed first wiped delvik and cache then installed the needed applications and turned off the phone again went back bootmenu, wiped the delvik and cache and rebooted, and this error appearing,, kindly help.

Update your recovery to TWRP 2.8. Do factory reset from TWRP, then wipe system. Then Flash ROM. ALso, if everything else fails, backup data fro myour internal SD, then try wiping intSD as well. SOmetimes there are leftovers from app settings there which can mess things up.

Im current new and from rooted stock 4.4 rom. I downloaded phantom and now which recovery to use? Can pls link me to download?

Anyone tried this rom?? I just flashed it in my note 2...looks good but its crashing watsapp whenever trying to open any received videos...anyone facing similiar issue???

I dunno how but some times on the lock screen the temperature degree was shown but now no more only date and time also some times the lock screen show the missed call with the picture of the caller and the word clear to remove the notification now only the name appears @wesamothman @nitol @Hnktc @dr.ketan by the way I changed the phone name device and model to note 2 not s5 code

1. Unfortunately settings has stopped while accessing screen mirroring option in shortcut notification bar.
2. Unfortunately themes has stopped while trying to change the theme .

To install it,
Go to your CWM recovery
1)Copy the zip to your SD card
2)Wipe data/factory reset
3)wipe cache partition
4)Go to mounts and storage and format system
5)Wipe Dalvik cache
5)Navigate to install zip from SD card and then click the zip file. wait for installation to finish and then reboot

now its working. earlier it was not working maybe cuz i flashed it over the speed rebirth v2 rom. Dont know what happened but wifi hotspot is now working as i flashed the stock rom and then flashed this rom.

1)navbar isnt necesarry for n7100 due to hardware keys
2)system UI isnt laggy here.check for free ram
3)NO Fc here
4)that option has been removed temporarily check changelog...instead use the "DPI changer" app from playstore

I just did the 5.01 rom install (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2/development/rom-resurrection-remix-5-2-2-t2974539) , but when i try to type anything i can't get the keyboard to show up , has anyone experienced anything similar ???

First enable the hardware from language and inputs.. Then you will have keyboard..

Try using philz recovery and 'wipe to install new rom'. After flash and before reboot wipe cache and dalvik.

just flashed the new button fix version but it went black screen after reboot system , i had to back to older 15 version

1. Does this ROM support moving Downloaded Apps to SD?Seeing provision to move to SD in \Settings\Apps I attempted it .But a pop up appears saying"Couldn't move app.Not enough storage space."
2.Titanium Backup(Version 6.2.02) won't restore Apps .It hangs on with the pop up saying App restoring".Even when I change App processing mode to "AUTO,Direct" or "INTERACTIVE" in it's settings menu this hanging persists and I can't restore apps.

Bootloader not updated?
Try flashing the stock 4.4.2 rom using odin. That should update your bootloader (your first post stated you are coming from JB). Once you have flashed the 4.4.2 rom using odin, root it, install custom recovery, twrp 2.8.0 works flawlessly for me. Then, try installing lollipop. Make sure you do a clean install.

i have just see that this rom badly have a bug that i see in all the others rom not based on official samsung base,
the microphone doesn't work properly, the normal voice recording is really bad and in calls to the others listen to me really bad, there is a possibly fix?

make sure you do a full wipe and theme manger will work and wifi works great

It's probably a bad download. Redownload it and make sure it downloads fully

Will this work on gm925f or is it just t mobile versions

I've read that this rom runs on the tmobile galaxy s6. Although when I flash the rom, the touch screen becomes inverted. Pressing the phone icon opens up the app drawer and vice versa swiping left goes right etc. Any ideas?

Hi creators of alliance rom,
I LOVE your rom! It was the first rom I've tested on the s6 edge and so far there is no reason for me to go to any other. I judt have a a question/request. I hope you guys can answer it soon =P
So after flashing the rom, I realized that you've removed the feature to "resize" the multiwindow(split screen) windows. Is there any way you could add thst in the next update or show me how I can enable it?

Im going to have to be "that guy." I need help, every time i try to flash this i get soft brick at the samsung s6 edge screen. ive got the correct version of android installed, i used CF-autoroot. but ive had to flash ODIN stock both times ive tried... anyone have any idea for me?

am I the only one having trouble remapping my hard keys? I am trying to make the recent apps button a menu button but it will not work no matter what I do am I missing something? I have noticed no rom or any other mod has been able to make it work can anybody help me? I am using Tmobile s6 edge

idk if this is the place to post
but i have a few suggestions that would make this rom the best out there
some new features or additions that you should add is
Mobile Data notification Toggle
Launcher with Pull left (You can choose the app to launch when swiped left from home screen) like the briefing app but you can choose any one
remove quick connect and s finder
add viper mod and camera mod (i can do that on my own but would save some people trouble)
memory leak fix
All apps multiwindow and multi- instance (using any app in multiwindow)
oh and add Smart Manager back lol or let us choose which apps to install in aroma
thats about all that would make your rom over the top!

A need some help. I've tried flashing this rom a few time and I end up in bootloop. I'm already rooted running twrp 2.8.6.0. What else am I missing? This samsung stuff is way different than HTC which I'm used to. Thanx in advance
