I recently bought my phone and my software version is V10l-AME-XX and googled that it was a UAE. I wanted to update my firmware but when I downloaded the LG Mobile Support Tool it automatically set to my country Philippines and their is a new update. Can I update my phone even though my phone software version is V10l-AME-XX? safely? I'm from philippines.

when i open lg mobile support tool it says there is software upgrade do u want to upgrade?
OTA's can take longer to be available than the kdz (via PC Suite). upgrade if you want to. I'm not sure of the changelogs, but it'll be the typical bug fixes etc. if you're having issues where you are, perhaps it might be in your interest to upgrade
I've an H815, unlocked and both hardware and software unbranded, but I believe its an O2 handset (V10e-234-10, if that helps). I also have the bootloader unlocked. I've seen an Android 6 update is available for certain UK and European handsets and I'm just wondering if this handset is suitable for update? The update center and LG Bridge both say that the phone is up to date.
Is there a marshmallow update available for my handset version?

Thanks for that CraigHardy. I've a little project for today now.
O2 are really dragging their heels with this. We're now 4 / 5 versions into Marshmallow and still no sign of it for O2-UK.
Mine is the same handset, I flashed the V20D firmware linked in the Android Development forum, but it threw a message on every reboot saying the version wasn't matched. I'm currently using the V20E (Orange Romania?) ROM and it's absolutely fine (bar the carrier name in the notification area).

So you reckon using V20E is the natural progressor to V10E then? It would make sense. As I said, ther is no branding on the phone except, and I just found this out this morning, the stock web browser defaults to the O2 UK mobile website. I normally use Firefox or Chrome and I don't know why the browser opened at all
V20E installed and working great. But I'm not seeing much difference between marshmallow and lollipop. Cheers guys.

Same as me, I'm on an o2 unlocked G4.
I have been running euro v20d and cm13 with no problems.
Funny enough my o2 branded g4 prompted me to download the V20d-234-10 update today.

Hi everyone,
I am not sure if some of you had a similar issue, but I have not received any update for my A50 purchased in April 2019.
The phone was bought in Italy but I am based in the UK. It has never received an OTA update either over the UK network or over the ITA network. Also no update is available via Smart Switch.

I am aware that a number of updates were released this year, so I wanted to ask you guys if any of you had the same experience as me, and if there is a way to receive them on my unit.
Thanks all
Enzo
This is probably because of your device's original country does not receive the updates. The only real solution is install another firmware that has got updates.
I bought the device on March 25, the day of its launch in the Czech Republic. Since then, it has received six updates, mostly with major improvements in functionality. Updating the device firmware is therefore very important! In your case, I would try to install "Smart Switch" on my computer and update my phone with it. If you are unsuccessful, please contact Samsung support in your country.

I contacted Samsung support and they told me to wait, but it's November and I've never received a single update yet. Nothing on Smart Switch either.
Shall I look for manually flash a firmware? Do you have any experience with it in terms of future OTA updates?
Thanks again
i guess you could download rom from sammobile(official rom) and flash with odin. Just be careful to download PROPER version for your samsung model..
