Lollipop clock app notifications. - Moto 360

I picked up the 360 before lollipop was released. On KitKat the clock app alarm notifications were being pushed to my watch, on lollipop however I only get them on my phone. This could probably be solved by installing a different clock app. But they tend to be unreliable and I don't think I should have to. Does anyone know a way to restore that functionality without a separate app?
Also I'm on a rooted nexus 6 coming from a note 3 running CM11.

[Q] Can I remove Google Now from 4.2 Lockscreen?

So I used Lockscreen Policy hoping it will also remove the google now but it only removed the widgets and camera.
I use WidgetLocker with a sense3 slider and I keep hitting the google now icon and has been fairly frustrating.
If you have any tips to remove it that would be great. I am using the stock 4.2 I am rooted and unlocked but I just haven't had the chance to play with other roms yet since this phone actually has been functioning properly unlike my Optimus 3D. But if you know of a rom that this doesn't show up or has the option to remove it I will consider that as well.
wrong thread.
disable or uninstall google search app. at least i do since im not using it.

Any way to get 3rd party notifications on the lockscreen

I use Textra for my text messaging. And it looks like LG only allows LG messaging/phone to use the lockscreen for notifications. Is there a way to use the stock lockscreen to see notifications (other than in the bar).
Im not rooted yet since I have the Sprint version. But I will be once it comes out. So if there is a root solution you can mention that as well. This is my 1st LG, so I didnt know if this is just something that most people know how to do from the G2 or if people realize its impossible to do. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks
Have you tried this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.achep.acdisplay
Sent from G3
I've used Nils for over a year and it just keeps getting better and better. Here's the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roymam.android.notificationswidget
Sent from my LG-D850
Ive tried Nils. It didnt play well with the lockscreen as far as clicking a notification and bypassing the lockscreen to open the app. It would open the app in the background and then show it once you finally unlocked the phone.
But maybe Ive just gotta play with the options a little more if thats the only real option at the moment. since I wasn really looking to download a new lockscreen app because Ive found that they are usually battery hogs.
Ill give the ACDisplay app a try too and see if I like that as well.
Hopefully someone will come out with a mod in the future to get more notification control on the LG lockscreen itself
I'm not sure, but I seriously think I got Textra notifications at one point along with Skype and Trillian.
I use Nils with Widgetlocker. Never had an issue with opening notifications.

I think the major downside about Nils for me was that notifications lagged behind the unlocks. To be more specific, after I unlock the device, the notifications would stay afloat for at least for a visible split sceond before they disappear. Using DashNotifier, it would disappear as soon as you start to place your finger on the screen for swipe - although it had some problems on its own of not showing lone notifications. (i.e. it would show if I got 2 texts, but not one.)
I never found any fixes for any of these, as they seemed quite rare occurance to most people. All that's left is to wait for Lollipop to come out on vs985!
The current version of Textra definitely gives you notifications in the lockscreen, and it also wakes up the screen.

[Q] Nexus 7 5.0.2 update issues

So I updated my nexus to 5.0.2 today and all went well, not rooted or unlocked bootloader, stock everything. So everything looks fine except for the launcher. The app drawer in android L is supposed to be a white square with apps, but unfortunately mine looks like the app drawer from kitkat even though I updated to android L. Also on the homescreen, the menu icons are supposed to be transparent, well mine is not they are encapsulated by a black bar. I already tried wiping the cache via recovery and still no luck. Checked app updates and there was nothing.
Forgot to mention, chrome is supposed to create tabs in the recent apps drawer, but instead it looks like the one from android kitkat. I feel like this was an incomplete installation. Factory reset is last resort for me so are there any easier fixes out there? I do not want to unlock bootloader/root either.
Thanks!
I think you need to install the google now launcher from the play store, that will give you the white app drawer & should sort the icons on home screen as well. The launcher that lollipop comes with on nexus 7 is pretty much the same launcher that was in kitkat.
The chrome setting merge tabs & apps is only on phones at the moment AFAIK & not on tablet as yet.

[Q] Lockscreen (Knockcode) Swipe Camera disappeared (D855 v20h)

Hi all,
I've had 3 or 4 OTA updates on my LGG3 since I got it last year, one of the ones around 20h made the swipe to camera icon disappear. The one in the bottom right...
How do I get it back?
Also, how do I change volume down to launch a third party camera (XCam LG)
This is possibly due to the change in Android Lollipop's lock screen settings. If you see stock ROMs or vanilla Nexus, there isn't any lock screen widgets anymore either.
However, I've inspected the ROM packaging (at least for Cloudy's ROM), this code is still there, it just doesn't show up for some reason.
I'll let some other pro answer this...
Solution? Wait for v30-base from G4's LG UX 4.0 software, if not you can download third-party lock screen apps (i.e. WidgetLocker or HiLocker)
Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the same issue.

Click to collapse
I installed zui locker, played around with it's camera settings then uninstalled it. Funny the camera widget appeared and remained in the stock lockscreen.

disappearing notifications with marshmallow? - alarm clocks, etc.- a mystery!

Several of my apps set notification icons on the notification bar, such as different alarm clocks I have tried, as well as the app called phono, and several others - some apps work fine, but with most apps that set these notification icons, they will disappear within a minute or so, like as if some piece of software was clearing them.
when this happens with alarm clock notifications, not only does the notification go away, but the alarm doesn't go off.
running LG G4 - rooted, unlocked bootloader, stock marshmallow 20B, with a few stock LG and google apps removed.
has anyone ever seen their notifications disappear like this?
OK - looks like LBE Security master may be the culprit - looks like its marshmallow implementation is buggy.
