I am running on jader13254's Xperia Ultimate HD™ 2.0.2.
how to increase arc's gpu performance ?
I presume you're into playing heavy 3d games on your phone.... ultimate hd rom has the latest drivers for our adreno gpu yet 3d games like MC4 dont run very smooth..... i have no idea if it's possible to overclock the gpu and hence increase it's performance.... however i would advice you to flash a gb based rom. Use x gamer rom based on stock gb it's best for gaming!

It's not your phone making the game lag, but it's the game itself... It's poorly optimized :/ (yeah fck Gameloft) Graphics look SO UGLY too

Actually it has an automatic underclock feature to prevent your phone from overheating
Check out my thread here
When it underclocks, the CPU will run at approx. 810 MHz and make the game lags
Anyone can share Overclock Xperia play stable for gaming ? lagfree ? and smoothest..
because, mine so lag.. please help me
I'm just max: 1.2ghz to play modern combat3, tkdr or wildblood.. for play mc4,just connect to wireless or use data plan..that all

No lag but at the expense of battery life.
Max Clock freq 1.4
min clock freq 460
what u use for Governor interactivex
and I/0 sio
No device is made equal, what may work great for someone else might not work for you. Its best to just try going up step by step

Hello everybody!
Have anyone overclocked gpu on xperia s? I want to know how phone working and is any problems with it? I don't want to burn my motherboard.

I've overclocked mine using Trinity's kernel without any problems
Sent from my Xperia Slow LT26i
You need a unlocked bootloader
And a custom kernel
I recomend
Trinity kernel for general performance
Forzaferrarileo for a great balance
And doomkernel for stability and balance
Sent from my LT26i using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I use DooMKerneL and kernel tuner app to overclock gpu to upto 320Mhz.. and yeah, you need to have bootloader unlocked..

can u post here a diffrence between stock mhz and oc-ed one?? Im curious how much power does that give
Im ising pureslim 4.4 now so no oc for me now but just asking ;p
200mhz 2d
266mhz 3d
As oposed to
266mhz 2d
320mhz 3d
With an OC your ui will become smoother and games will lag less
Also some benchmarking apps prove that you can beat a samsung galaxy s3

There you go.. say thanks to envious_data.. couldn't have explained it better.. Normally the clock for,
2D - 200Mhz
3D - 266Mhz
But we can overclock gpu to obtain,
2D - 266Mhz
3D - 320Mhz
Phone will run with no lag at all.. And it's super smooth.. I haven't tested it's effect on the battery yet though.. I don't actually use it much.. Unless if I want to play Asphalt 8 without lag..
Hope you understood..
Thank me if I helped..

the effect on battery is almost un noticable,
this is because its a small change (as oposed to a cpu oc (much higher frequencys and higher voltages required)
xperia s uses gpu and cpu to display
and finaly most kernels with a gpu oc usualy have a gpu undervolt meaning per frequency step it uses less power as oposed to stock
<(`^´)> knowing is good!!!

I get this problem sometimes.. My 2D gpu frequencies cannot be changed.. it might be because of mp-decision but isn't DooMKerneL supposed to have its own mp-decision? if i cant get past this problem, can you give me a link to the latest trinity kernel for Xperia S..? If its not asking for too much..

doomkernel doesent have 2d overclock
doomkernel used the stock mpdecision
also no need for a 2d oc unless you dont like laggy opengl based games
