If you are referring to the softkey navigation keys, give this a try.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712472868
Install it, then open and select your choice (supersu will ask for root access, so be sure to grant it).

I think those icons are located in framework-res.apk. Not 100% sure though.

How did you get the apps to stick? When you uncheck the module and reboot, it returns the list to the way it was originally.

Force UI mode

Hi I was wondering if there any setting or app that let me put notification at bottom. I Google and people say set DPI to 213 to force it bottom but its not working. I'm using carbon ROM and it doesn't have that tablet mode option. If any one knows please guide me thanks

I don't think this will help you, anyway. That build.prop tweak just gives you onscreen controls. I've never used Carbon so I'm not sure what the options are. PA includes a Tablet UI.

Nah the edit I told you about won't do that. And root explorer is the best alternative.

(MOD) how to disable home button from waking up your screen. Must have root.

I was having a lot of issues with the home button waking my phone while my phone was in my pocket and it was driving me crazy so I figured out how to disable it. And I figured some other note 3 users might want to do the same. So here it is.
You must have root
And app like root explorer
Go to root, system, usr, keylayout, scroll down to the file gpio-keys.kl, Mount to R/W and open with text editor. You'll see the key layout for wake selections on the one listed as HOME delete the word wake and all the spaces between it, now hit menu and save and exit.
View attachment 2335081 before edit
View attachment 2335082 finished edit
If you can't view the pictures on the mobile app just open in a browser and you should be able to see them fine.
Once that's done reboot the phone and the home button won't wake the device anymore.
Enjoy

This can also be done by installing exposed framework and the wanam app from the market. Many other customization as well. I have found that absolutely every single settings work within the wanam app except the multi window setting.

Thanks for mentioning the exposed framework. It does work amazing if you want to add a lot of changes. but if you just need the button disabled, it is easy to edit those 3 wake commands.
What ever works best.

No but if you open your text messages, click menu button, then settings, then the top right option for more settings, the unchecked screen on. That will turn that off for you.

Unknown Icon Notification

So I get this icon that shows my CPU usage and battery that appeared randomly on my notification bar. I'm not sure how it got there but I'm quite used to it now and like the looks of it. Does anyone know how to enable or disable it just incase it goes away on it's own? Or should I be aware of it because it can be a harmful third party app?

Are you using any 3rd party app that monitor your cpu status ect.? I know when I used "Quick System Info" app I had the option to shows those info on my status bar.
Does it also show in the drop down panel? If it does long press on it and chose "App info".

Open your notifications and tap and hold the notification then click app info.
Nothing shows when I drag the notification bar but the same thing it does now. It covers my icons under it and if I were to be on Youtube watching a video on fullscreen it still shows. I haven't installed anything in about a week either. I don't want to take it to T-Mobile and ask since my phones rooted also

Can you provide a list of apps that you have installed? It would help narrow down which programs have the permission to draw overlays and that would likely reveal the culprit. Also, have you tried disabling the Xposed framework to make sure it's not one of the modules you installed (doubt it, but worth the trouble)?

You've installed something recently or changed an app's settings recently. That is an output from a monitoring app. CPU, GPU, or something of that sort.
You need to check that app(s) and uncheck whatever seems to point to showing it.
