I own a blutooth headset believe it is a Jaybird head set.
Pairs fine with the phone but the watch does not not see it.
What do you use that works ?
I have almost given up, thinking about seeing how I can delete music from my watch
I use Motorola S9-HD headphones. Works great. I'm suppose to be getting a pair of Jaybirds for Christmas so you have me a little worried there. You sure you don't have to put the jaybirds into a search mode? Also, make sure the headphones aren't connected to the phone when trying to search it on the watch.
My Jaybird Bluebuds paired no problem and work great. You sure you put them in pairing mode?
I'm using the Plantronics Back Beat Go 2 and while it pairs with the watch and works perfectly for music from the phone or from the watch itself, I can't seem to figure out how make or receive phone calls with them. But I've only had the watch for a day so it's probably the Indian, not the arrow.
Old thread, yes I did not need to setup pairing in ages I googled found you need to hold the power button until it says "searching for devices"

I was wondering if somebody can help me pair the Jabra BT8010 with my Dash. I just downloaded and upgraded the Jabra software from their site and it still won't pair. Any suggestions or ideas?
What Rom version are you using?
WM 6.1 Kavana, and i forget which one of his actual roms, but its a recent one. I read up that the Jabra has problems with the Dash in general. Is there a way to resolve it or should i just get a diff bluetooth.
Anybody know of a stereo bluetooth that works with their Dash?
Motorola S9, I have one. Works fine with my Dash. Only problem I noticed is when pairing it takes a few tries to find the headset, but eventually it does. I also use it on my desktop pc as a headset and headphone for music when everyone is asleep since they complain about my speakers bass...

2nd that the s9 are a great sounding pair of BT headphones and can be found very cheap these days, i don't own a pair but have tryed friends and wish i did...
They are on Ebay for like $20-30 buy it now. Also there's the S9HD version out now, but those run over $100. They have HD surround sound or something and are solid black instead of black and red.

Was it ever paired? if it was then delete the profile then pair (headset settings)
If not turn off the Dash bluetooth then set your headset to pairing mode THEN turn on your Dash bluetooth (thats what worked for me)
I've never been able to pair it, before or after the wm update. I've tried all sorts of ways to pair the two, just doesn't seem to pair.. Man i had the jabras paired with my old rizr and i loved them, wish there was a way to get them to work with the dash...

Mine has always worked (after I did the steps I posted to you prior) I have it connected to both my Dash and my laptop. If you tried to connect it multipule times you probably have stored profiles in the headset which is keeping you from paring.
Actually i think there is a problem with the hardware b/c i can't get the bluetooth radio to turn on. The multiple profiles isn't an issue b/c i've reflashed the DASH with various versions of software, including official tmobile, and it still doesn't do anything. Whenever i go to turn on my bluetooth, it just acts like its trying to turn it on, but nothing ever gets turned on. I'm fairly certain at this point its a hardware problem.
Ah well, i guess i'll just buy a corded headset for the time being and then save my jabra for when i get a new phone...

I meant multiple profiles in the headset (paired devices). Have you tried pairing another headset with the Dash?
I have not been able to pair the dash with another bluetooth. I tried with a few motorolas recently and it didn't work. I'll try taking it to the store again and seeing if it pairs with anything else..
Has anyone else paired a headset to their slide and had media audio come through it?
I paired my old jawbone2 to my slide and when I was playing a game, game audio came through the ear piece. It only happened ONCE and now everything (except calls and the genius button) is back to the phone speaker.
Is that normal? Should audio be routed through my BT Headset like that? I was pretty certain only calls should go through to a non a2dp device.
I don't know anything about the jawbone2, but I have no problems. For regular phone use, I have a Motorola H500 and I always play Pandora in the car, and have never had music come through the H500, just voice like it should be. (I've used the H500 on the G1 I ordered on launch day, on a Motorola Droid, a Sprint EVO 4G, and the 3G Slide on a variety of stock and non-stock ROMs.) I also have a Motorola S9 A2DP headset, and the audio works as you would expect on it also on all of those devices. Maybe the Slide detects the Jawbone2 in a funky way somehow. What does it say when you go to Settings->Wireless & Networks->Bluetooth Settings->Jawbone2 (press & hold then select options.) If it's not a A2DP headset, it should just say "Phone, Use for phone audio." An A2DP headset will also say "Media, use for media audio." If you are lucky, the phone is just detecting it wrong and you can uncheck the Media option.
It only did it once and then went back to acting like a normal BT headset.
I am going to chalk it up as a fluke from initial pairing.
And under options it says phone audio only which is ok.
I'm replacing it with a Jawbone Icon tomorrow which supports a2dp and a whole slew of other nifty features for a single ear headset.
Don't deal with much bluetooth headsets but i do hook it up to my car stereo and i know there are settings in the bluetooth of that specific device. have you had a chance to look in there?
Bluetooth Pairing problems
I have similar problems when pairing to my truck stereo. It auto pairs when I get into the truck and works perfectly well the first time I make a call. But after that it doesnt disconnect properly AND it will disconnect but will stay paired.
I am able to go into BT setting and have it reconnect.
Works once then bam not connected again.
I have Android version 2.3.3
Baseband 47.3201.35.06U_7.07.35.025
Kernel 2.6.32.17 -Cyanogenmod-g501281a
Mem Info
183MB /418MB
Build GRI40
Connecting to a Kenwood Receiver
DNX9140
It worked fine for my Nexus Not sure why this is happening.
Thanks

I have a pair of LG-TONE HBS-730 earphones and also a FM transmitter in my car. Last night and this morning I had a similar problem as yours, and I had to restart the phone so I could hear music and calls through the bluetooth devices. A couple of hours ago, I tried again and everything worked very well, BUT after disconnecting them, the phone went like it was on Silent Mode. No sound at all, no ringtone, no music, even the alarm didn't emit any sound, so I had to restart the phone and sound got back to normal. At this moment I am doing some tests connecting and disconnecting the BT earphones, but the problem is gone, so I don't know what's going on.

On my s3 it paired automatically! on the s4 i had to do this.....
With the Power off, press the CALL button and move the power switch to the ‘ON’ side at the same time for 4 seconds to manually place the headset in pairing mode
I hope this helps!
Use BT all the time on my gs2 ill try this out tomorrow and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.
Needing to pair the bt device to the phone is very normal for the very first use - especially if its been paired with another device in its history. Ive found bt devices (headsets like the jabara bt3030/street2) often cant really have more than 1 or two pairs total or they dont connect / dont stay connected properly.
Also the samsung bt stack has had lots of issues with BT devices over the galaxy generations. hopefully its not back.
I've used a Moto S10 & S11 HD stereo BT and 2 different Jawbones without issue.
Does anyone know if you can use the 360 and Bluetooth headphones at the same time. I use Bluetooth headphone connected to my nexus 5 all day
works very well try it out
:good: no problems.

That's great to hear I'll be getting my 360 on the 17th
Works decently, but I've had the BT headset disconnect randomly with the 360 connected. Over a year and my BT headset never disconnected, it's a Bluebuds X. Also had some issues with no voice input into my mono BT headset with the 360 connected, almost like the BT voice input was rerouted somehow to the 360. Seems to be buggy .

I've had my plantronics voyager legend sound very digitized to the point it's unusable lately. I'm multipoint paired to my HTC one max and a blackberry q10. Haven't had this problem before the moto 360.
I had my Moto 360 connected to my phone and my wireless beats with no problems. Works great
I just go my 360 yesterday and was wondering the same as op. I literally use my phone in calls about 4 to 5 hours a day. I actually use a blue parrot xt plus and they can't be beat as far as call quality on both ends. Now for looks, that's a different story. Can you say "May I take your order" they look like a headset from a drive thru. Anyway thanks for all the comments.

Yes you can, also there are about two apps enabling volume on the market for your player.
Works well, but I've heard some people complain of battery drain on moto 360 when you have another BT device connected. I don't think I've encountered that problem though.
I guess it depends on what phone and BT you are using.
I have moto 360 with LG G3 and when I workout I pair it with Jabra sport to listen to play music. Music is slow, unresponsive at first, choppy and from time to time play music fc's. Could be play music, BT, G3 or M360 and BT both connected to G3.
Playing music just through phone works with just M360 and works ok with just BT connected to G3. Next time going to try it with Gnote 3 and see if that works any better.

Works just fine with my Bluetooth car stereo as well.
My issue today is that my bluetooth will not pair properly and remember its configurations. My initial pairing on my phone with my car's flexsmart X3 works perfect, however when I turn off my bluetooth on the phone or turn off my car and turn it back on the phone will still see the flexsmart and it will say it is paired but I get no sound. Upon further investigating I find that in the options setting that neither the call nor music tick box is checked. If I try to tick them it will think for a few seconds and then gray out and do nothing again.
I never had a problem with my note 2 or my temp replacement evo 3d remembering these settings. All I would do with those phones was pair it once and then any time I hopped in the car I would just turn onm,y phone's bluetooth and go. Now with my note 4 I have to unpair and repair the devices each and every time which is a huge pain.
I have read a little bit that this is due to samsung note 4 using a newer bluetooth standard than its predecessors. Is there anyway to circumvent this issue by maybe rolling back the bluetooth drivers or something? I even thought about creating a tasker profile to help with this but still I would have to physically press the search button on the flexsmart eachtime.
Any and all suggestions would be great. Also right now I am on rooted stock 5.0.1
PS: I will try and post some photos to help when I get the chance to get to my car.
I've been start for a solution to this since the phone came out as well. I have the same Bluetooth issues with my phone in my car. Nothing more annoying than having to turn Bluetooth on and off for 10-15 minutes of your drive before you can use the damn thing. Oh wait, more annoying would be when it's been working for a solid 45 minutes or so and then suddenly, with no warning, the Bluetooth connection ends for no reason and your cars stereo comes on instead of what you were streaming only the volume on the cars radio is far louder and it scares the ever living crap out of you

Odd....I dont seem to have that issue. Once I have initially paired the bluetooth it will stay connected without any interruptions. Also pairing for me is really fast and only takes a minute or so. My problem is that instead of my phone remembering the current device settings that it is paired with, it will forget to associate it with calls and data after I turn the bluetooth off and then later back on even though the phone will still remember it is paired with the car bluetooth.
First world problems I know but it gets a tad annoying having to unpair and repair my phone each and everytime I hop in my car to go somewhere if I want to listen to my music.
In the car I don't get a lot of skipping. But when connected to my BT speakers audio does skip a lot and starts playing in ffw then disconnects completely. It's driving me nuts. I've tried all the usual trouble shooting also. No help. Wtf Samsung/Google
