LOL!!!!!!

I have a stupid question,how do i put files on here from my desktop to help people that need them,i have PC36IMG files and the su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed zip,and i have needed to put those on here and dont know how.never attempted to before

In app from phone hit more then select upload.
From PC when in the post look at the little icons above where u post. There will be an upload icon. Then just choose ur files. Some files r to big to upload directly. Some people use dropbox and upload a file to there then create a downloadable link from dropbox website and paste it in their post. Others use file sites like 4sharred or other file sharing sites like it and create a link and past it into their post.

ehh,not really,but i appreciate it.just never tried it.i have always been the one needing the files rather than giving them..but now that i have the ones i needed,figured i would give back to the community and to the new people joining xda...i was in there place at one time too.and im am still learning new things from senoir members on a daily basis.but i can pass the knowledge on from what i have been taught from members such as yourself..thank you for giving me a hand,P.S.

[Q] Decompress .app files (not firm, but Kies downloads)

Hi guys!
That is the question! Is there any way to decompress the files we download from Kies?
When we download any app, theme, whatever from Kies a file with .app extension is created in ...\samsung\Kies\Download\Applications.
As it is not an .app file from firm, it is not possible to open it with Trix.
Can we open it to see what it's got? Anyone knows?

you can see its contents if you open it with 7zip but you can't extract !!
The *.app file is encyrepted in some how but during installation it gets decyrepted and become *.oap file then copied to the phone then installed
If you are fast enough or your app is too big you will be able to catch *.oap file from either the PC or the phone
Please search more because Adfree explained this several times already

Anyway. No really need to "convert" *.app from Kies.
Kies and handset do this for you.
If you can't install anymore this *.app with Kies, then at the moment no idea.

Sorry, sorry . I had read that post already but I didn't think it had relationship, because I thought the thing of .oap was different to the decompression of the .app.
I mean, with the .oap we can see the folders and files with 7zip, but we cannot see what is inside if we are downloading a theme for example. That's what I'm trying to check in to the .app downloaded by Kies.

Theme type 2 are Flash content with *.swf files included... protected by AES128... dcf.
You can't see anything yet. No way known to find/catch smt file for investigation...
Real bada apps with *.exe file in Bin folder are not so hard protected.
No idea why...
You can extract all files from oap... It is simple ZIP.
But you need to catch last state of Chain...
Apps are NOT Themes and Themes are NOT same kind of Themes...
Themes are NOT apps.
There are differences, BIG differences in protection.
If you want themes edit like Gorilla, you have NO chance at the moment.

You have to understand. That 2 types of themes...
The old one... thousends *.smt files...
The new one... like Gorilla.
These are Flash content, special protected to prevent catch *.smt.
Which is again ZIP.
If you unpack gorilla.app from Kies you will find gorilla.smt.DCF.
Deadend.
Fash Themes are encrypted on Samsung Server, You download encrypted DCF Theme.
NO differences between Kies or store on handset...
SAME file, SAME store (Server) SAME protection.
Come back, if you understand difference between bada app and theme.
Otherwise it makes no sense for deeper research.

.oap from apps, non encrypted
.oap from Gorilla, hidden
So it is exactly that way, these themes get their encryptation in Servers instead of the phone.
Good thing. We can check manifest.xml and/or application.xml without the encode. Maybe someday we can put facebook and twitter apps in a modified firm again.

Hi all LG G4 users.
I need LG G4 radio apk file and other radio files.
Can anyone upload the net?
I Have a LG G4 H815TR version.
And radio not activated.(No radio apk and other files in phone)

It' s about Turkish legals.
To activate the phone radio , LG tax payments to state.
It's increasing costs.(For selling price on shops.)
My former phone Lg optimus 3D same situation.
I installed radio apk and radioservice apk .
And radio worked.

Most of us don't have these files. Try searching xda for other users from your region or with 815tr phones.

we turks really need that radio.apk.
we have bought legal copies of g4. to cut its price 35$ for government media tax, lg turkiye chose disabling it somehow.

Mount it with linux or use a tool like "OFSMount" on windows to view the files.
Search for "*radio*" files. You will find "com.lge.fmradio.apk".
But I don't know if it is enough to install the apk.

i downloaded this h815 10c on my w8 x64 with firefox, extracted and got the systemetc.img.
but when i mount it on that ofsmount or winimage pro it just shows a blank root.
what do you think? has my downloaded tar.gz crc errors?

I used 7z to extract the img and I can open it with the tool.
Here are the md5 sums:

how are developers are hack the appx and xap apps

Xap is easy... Go to: D:\WPSystem\apps... Here select app... For me is {27D6A090-50D2-4337-88CB-41D97597757A} (CustomPFD)... Open folder Install and copy all...
Now put it in SD and delete WMAppHeader.xml and pack it in zip... Now it looks like Install.zip... Now delete zip extension and write xap... It have to look like Install.xap... And u can deploy it... Appx/appxbundle is different, i searching how to it, but i cant find it...

Sorry, CustomPFD dont have WMAppHeader.xml... If there is no WMAppHeader.xml u can just copy all in Install folder and pack it in zip and rename zip to xap...

this does not work, and down more than 5 times and always fails to decompress the file, said file damaged please rise again :good:
what I want is an update via odin, the file you uploaded the companion always fails to decompress so that does not help us
