I had following problems when i updated to 5.6 rom.
1) i cant change animation of the home screen and all apps menu screen. Also i cant hide unwanted apps. I think 4.4 had it. when i went for settings it showed settings for google now.
2) when i made shortcut of the apps stored in sd card and reboot the device the shortcuts seen missing.
2) Facebook contacts, calenders, images are not getting sync.
3) and when i tried to fix it using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2064859 and restarted the call log service is not working, it showing call logis empty
4) after that when my battery drain out and restarted, it rebooted and showed the first basic configuration setting such as adding cyngm account, wifi setting etc. after that reboot my all apps stored on SD card is not showing.
5) also showing when i reboot my device " unfortunately google .gapps stopped"
Plz fix it .. this version is rocking ..increased speed. great graphics ..

Vibrate on call answer issue..
Using latest build and the vibrate on call answer is not working probably even not giving any Vibrate feedback. Please fix in next build.

Multisim toggle
Hello I'm new here I would like to thank this great team for there great hard work I'm using v5.6 without any problems.. Almost two weeks only I have problems when I install another themes I planned not to do because the one that this rom have is nice.
I have small thing to share which I found in xda developers fourm it's a multisim toggle that is the only thing needed to use for multisim switch I used it without any problems thanks for the developer who made it you can find it here blog*shubhangrathor*com/multisim-toggle/index*html

In wifi option there is a wifi direct option but whn i receive a file frm anthor device cant get. its failed can anyone help me...

At least once in a day 'Vibrate on touch' is switching on automatically. I have to manually switch off this setting. Pls help me friends.

u have to enable usb debugging in ur device and if u r using windows then terminal means cmd!!
search the web for 'how to enable adb! follow the instructions from there! u'll have to download android sdk and java on ur computer!

This is a great forum, that i recently found. By using helpful resources, i rooted my samsung galaxy grand and updated 4.4.4 kitkat..
Now my question is can i turn it samsung galaxy s5 interface by installing any other rom!
Totally new this tech subjects..

I think we need to wait to enjoy the treat of lollipop in our device..... Pawitp sir has ported cm11 for our device.... Alot of thanks for this.... .... Again we have to wait till cm team port lollipop to cm12....as this process will take some extra time as developers are having some root issues with the android lollipop final sdk.... So just wait and hope for the best....

You can install any third party theme of galaxy s5 to look like.... Or you may install touch whiz revolution rom which is modified official firmware..

i think flashing either of these roms will revert back ur android from 4.4.4 to 4.2.2 !!

This rom is based on cm11... In built screen record doesn't works on this rom.... To use radio use spirit fm... It works like charm.... And yes, this rom has new theme engine....

Thanks for taking the time to create the mod.
Testing - I put this mod and tested the StockNE4 Lite mods on my Samsung Tab3 Lite and they have both worked really well. I used the "Philz Recovery" to flash my device. Though I also tried CWN and it works well too.

Yea cyanogenmod is a ROM.
CriskeloROM is also a ROM.
CriskeloROM ROM is available for SM-T110 but Cyanogenmod hasn't build a ROM for SM-T110 Samsung Galaxy Tablet Lite 3.

I had this ROM installed, but a few things turned me off of it and decided to go back to stock.
A. i can root stock ROM myself
2. I therefore wont have a big ass paypal button in my settings (which is a bit ****ty since removing the module with titanium backup doiesnt get rid of it)
C. It still has the stock 'light' touchwiz UI, which is horrible as. Take a page out of AOSP's book and use holo dark

Thanks for this rom, it feels a lot better than the stock one.
Everything is alright except two problems:
1. I've updated youtube app and it crashes everytime i open it. I tried to reinstall it but it still crashes. I guess this problem is because of "black youtube" addon. So is there any way to remove it?
2.This problem maybe not concerns this rom: Tablet often reboots when i lock the screen after using it for a while.

The instructions say you have to install with Full wipe and root fix and stock recovery then it says after first reboot you can flash Phil's recovery. Does that mean il be flashing multiple files at once? And is there a special way to do that?

some developers need to make a custom rom for tab 3 (t111) variant bcoz the tab is super laggy any sort of custom rom not the dr ketans one but some thing like cyanogen mod and if not pls make a custom kernal so that we can overclock it thnx and rply fast

Would anyone mind giving me information on what I would need after rooting the tab 3 T210R? I'm totally clueless , my thing is computers :S. I've had the tablet for a year and it updated quite forcefully, it locked me out till I accepted the kitkat update even though it was set not to update. It over heats and the battery dies very quickly. I want to get it back to the original jelly bean , nothing fancy or major . I've been to the xda forums have seen the roms but have no clue what Is needed to be d/led . Any help would be appreciated . I've already rooted the tab 3 successfully. I just want to downgrade the firmware Thanks in advance!

I when I first got my Samsung Tab 3 Lite T110 I found it slow and not as fast. But the ROMs here really helped (tested only Stock NE4 Lite - Lite version). It's working really well.

I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this but here it goes anyway... stock t210r 4.4.2 with philz, rooted and some minor debloat work done... I use it exclusively for gaming and more intensive applications... Are there any custom kernels available for me that are stable? I looked but i didnt see anything confirmed stable... I tried setcpu and antutu with no difference i could see with cpuid... If someone could link something similar to freedom or an overclock or link the proper thread for this....

i think that because vsync is disable, i think re-unable it with command fixes that. you can confirm that by asking on there tread.
i have the same tab but haven't tested re-enabling vsync.

Tab 3 Sm-T210 Stuck at boot after downgrade
I recently updated my Samsung galaxy 3 Sm-T210 via Samsung Kies to Kitkat 4.4.2, after noticing that the new upgraded os was draining battery at a fast rate as compared to the old os I flashed it with old stock firmware 4.1.2 via Odin. Now the device keeps flashing the starting samsung logo and wont load any further. Do i need to flash it back with 4.4.2 stock rom via odin because I've heard that there is a secured boot loader which wont allow old Os to load. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

sorry didn't answer this earlier. so i think your issue would be that you are on the kitkat bootloader reveting back to 4.1.2 rom and having some offline charging issue.
in that case you will need this > http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ernel-4-1-2-kernel-kitkat-bootloader-t2897313 and custom recovery to flash it.

its the kernel that is posted with the negalite-wonderom. There are three available for download...All with different quanities of Dll files.

Oh you have the t217s tab. Ask on his tread, you will get better help

battery charging is horrible
I flashed this rom for the sm t217s and it works pretty well. I like the speed and themes but it just feels unfinished. There are a lot of stupid little things that dull its luster. The task manager crashes 100% of the time when i select default applications. It doesn't show all of my apps. I checked play store and it says they are installed. I even uninstalled and re-installed...That doesn't work. It drains the hell out of my battery(1% every min or so) and I cant even get a full charge. I plugged it in at 4% and let it charge overnight without disturbance and by the morning, it was still only at 68%. If it's plugged in and I'm just looking around, it still drains 1% per min. Its too bad. I am going to flash back to stock and search for another. I wish rocket tab was for this model.

Hey friend welcome to xda just one thing most important best tip alllways read the developers install method normaly in android development check bugs if any but make habit of reading and then read agian allways OK first you are rooted otherwise cant proceed and make sure you have a nandroid backup using custom recovery twrp or philz touch clockworkmod recovery witch if memory serves me right u flash via Odin well thats how i installed if all above done then make sure your using philz touch latest version its in our Android development thread I shall give you link its http://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_Advanced_Edition make sure to hit thanks button @Phil3759 and for @gr8nole and @ketut.kumajaya for helping they really means alot then I use clean to install new ROM in recovery then format factory settings wipe dalvik cache and cache then flash @jimbomodder debloated 4.4.2 ROM then reboot supersu will ask to update binary it give u to method in custom recovery or normal < will work any problems pm me or post in q\a I help with anything and that way you dont need to bother the devs but if you need to and havent found answer am sure they wouldent mind check @laufersteppenwolf WWv008customkernel i find @laufersteppenwolf kernel a perfect match to its combatable ROMs such features as eg doubletap2wake over and under clocking make sure read his thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...wolf-kernel-v001-sm-t210r-t2820573kernel-were

im sorry if I come off a bit noobish but I was just wondering how to copy the normal Samsung video and music player onto my tablet after flashing, since you've removed it and I rather like them.

im sorry if I come off a bit noobish but I was just wondering how to copy the normal Samsung video and music player onto my tablet after flashing, since you've removed it and I rather like them.

Just tried to flash it with philz touch and it aborted the installation.
Also another thing is that I'm constantly ending up in a bootloop once I go into recovery mode and it's really pissing me off, any help with that would also be appreciated.:good:

I don't use philz I use twrp and no issues with it since day one. Both cwm & philz pissed me off giving random errors and not working properly.

OK well using total commander u can manually removed and install the apks,

Also I extracted and installed it normally but it didn't install and said install failed

Jimbo mate ur still missing something, the music app shows up in nova but crashes when opened while the video app doesn't show up but I can choose it as an option to play media with and it can play vids. So there probably like 1 file for each app still missing.

Hi and thanks for a great ROM.
Theres a lot of stuff on there I'll never use (crosses fingers for a skinnykat ), but its all easy enough to remove.
Ive been using Rocket tab on my tab until recently I found a few bluetooth devices wouldnt pair (on two tab 3's both with rocket tab, stock jellybean worked). I also realised how out of date I'd become , had no idea kitkat was available for tab 3
I just have a couple of quickish questions.
My tab spends most of its life mounted in the car as a gps and media player, I rely on it heavily for work (lots and lots of driving around).
Which brings me to question number 1.... You disabled home button wake, how do i get it back? The power button is hard to reach when mounted.. especially when driving Ive looked in /system/usr/keylayout/generic.kl and have 'key 172 HOME WAKE'. Thats as far as I can get.
Secondly how to i get my long press Back button to kill again instead of the pop up multi window tray thingy?
the guides on the net pretty much say its all in the settings menu.. not mine. :s bugger.
apart from those two gripes ..im probably in the minority wanting these features .. an awesome rom,.

About long press to kill it is a mod that i would have to find a guide somewhere on xda because i don't know the coding for it and unfortunately i havent found a guide for kitkat that works and I have looked everywhere
Samsung devices don't have this feature built in btw
About the home button wake being disabled check my ROM Addons/Mods section in first post of my ROM Thread (OP) and flash the mod there in recovery

Give THIS app a try for back button to kill.

I tried to install this rom and it gave me a "E: Unable to mount '/system' error and it says there is no rom to install. I was on another rom before this without issues. Flashing with TWRP 2.8.2.0, any thoughts?

I tried flashing it again and it worked. I'm not sure what happened the first time.

There is a twrp issue for v2.8.2.0 when getting mount /system error and rom install error when flashing roms after wiping
The workaround is after you wipe go to the mount menu in Twrp recovery and uncheck mount system and then proceed to flash my rom

Thanks but yes by default the screen can only be turned on only by the power button and not by the home button! Why are you doubting this feature i would never lie to the people who use my ROM and i actually tested this on my tablet

I just have a small request for you. Could you make a .tar version of the rom?
I am not asking for much, just another way to flash your GREAT rom with ODIN.
My reason is because when I try to flash the rom with TWRP, (I have TWRP v2.8.0.0 by the way),
this error message occurs:

E: Error executing updater binary in zip
'/sdcard/InspireKat-v2.3-ROM-Release.zip'
I have an SM-T210R (It02wifi) and I can't boot into android system, so I am stuck on recovery!
I also can't use ADB sideload because it doesn't work!
I've been searching for a long time and have not found anything!
If you can't make a .tar version, then could you or anyone else tell me other ways of flashing the rom?

inspirekat 2.4 sdcard writable
Hi,
I've been using xda forums since 2003 , but, I've never posted.
Having said ghe above, plz forgive any rules etc., I might not be following.
Coming to the question, samsung galaxy tab 3 sm-t210 stock rom was doing fine until abt a year ago when google / samsung 4.2.2 kitkat took away our sdcard writable options. Now , I cannot update or install most of my apps as they were on the external sdcard. I can however update and install on the internal sdcard, which is extremely running low on space.
Does inspirekat 2.4 sort this problem and can I freely update , move to and install on my external sdcard?
