ROOTING A12 STAR​
This thread will guide you how to root your Karbonn A12 Star..

Note:- We are not responsible of any hard or soft brick of your Device. Rooting voids warranty of your phone.
Now lets start with our Guide
1. Download KingRoot application from the attachment
2.Install KingRoot application into your device as usual.
2.Open the application and on the main UI,
3.Tap on the big green circle with a circle of lock in which you can read some Chinese text with Root button.
4.Tap on the big button to root next to the arrow.
5.It will take some time to root the phone.
6.As soon as you see a tick mark in the circle which means your phone has successfully rooted, you can tap the blue button below which will appear after the rooting has been done.
Tap on the button next to the arrow.
Reboot your phone!
Your Phone Is Rooted Successfully..
The application will install KingUser application

i rooted successfully and also made the full backup of the phone for spflashtools
but i am not able to make CWM recovery
the MTKDroid Tools throws an error saying something kernel gzip not found and splitboot.img not found etc
any solution ???

Download Two Files From 4th Post of This Thread
In PhilZ Recovery Do Clean To Install ROM
Then Choose Zip From SDCard [{( SDCard1 )}]
Select LG G3 ROM
Then Flash/Install Fix
Now After installing Both Zip
Do Wipe Dalvik Cache
and Now Reboot Your Device
First Boot Will Take Upto 5 Minutes ​

your rom doesnt work.when i flashed ur rom i followed the instruction as u said but im stuck in a bootloop dude pls upload a working rom or the the proper way to install it....

Hey guys I downloaded this rom frm that link the first time I installed tat rom it ended in a bootloop but I came by asking fr help from fiorezy and he said to replace the boot image from the rom with the stock rom or stock backup boot image and it worked like a charm I also did the same with vibe ui and it worked too!!!!try it u might succeed

Hi guys.. I need help. I want to make sure I'll be properly guided with the best people regarding with Android Rooting and Delving.. Here's my prob.. I managed to root my Lenovo A7000 an hour ago.. I need proper procedure on how can I install this TWRP recovery on my Lenovo a7000 without using pc.. Sorry.. Im just new witht his whole kind of thing.. And i just cant brick this phone.. I know this is the right place to look for help.. Only with the best xda members..
And by the way, i didn:t use any computer with rooting.. That's why installing recovery without windows is my problem.. Thanks in advance XDA.

You can try some app like Kingroot or Framaroot (google it for more information). Btw I dunno it work or not becoz i never tried this way

Done. TwRp flashed on my lenovo a7000 using Rashr.. Extracted renamed twrp to Recovery.img.. Worked fine. Works on my phone.. It failed once while on the 52nd% of the rooting process then lenovo a7000 restarted.. Prompted an error. Then I repeat the whole rooting process again and it works.. U guys shud try.. By the way, what's the best custom rom for a7000? Stable and fast charging.. Im into gaming. Play online games

Xperia S lollipop 5.1.1 oneofakind..rom..ubertc aroma 22 sep 2015 build version

I did factory reset..wipe dalvik cache..wipe cache..install ROM zip..flashed gapps ..and addons..I get boot up ..optimizing apps n finished too..and starting but unfortunately setup wizard has stopped.. Everytime I press OK..no home launcher its black screen but I can access setting through quick setting panel..n can use power menu too..but no start up..what may wrong ..anybody know guys ??

Flash recovery 2.8.7.0 by mickbart first then flash rom, gapps and add-on.

My recovery is 2.8.7.0...its latest one..I think flashing ROM process isn't problem..I flash ROM only...though still got setup wizard problem and again flash gapps ..the problem wasn't solve..so m back to my custom ROM..

Clean flash is recommended...always wipe 4 partition before flash any rom for the best performance...
Cache,dalvik cache,data and system.

OK thanks for ur attention.. And suggestion u gave.. I ll try n post if that may work for me..coz I just wipe dalvik cache and cache ..but it was fine for every ROM I have tried..

Thanks buddy..after factory reset ..I wipe 4 partition and unmount everything except sdcard..then finally I success ..to boot up normally..

Why do you want to download all the files ??? I think flashing for ROM one zip file is enough..

The solution but this happens when you install it
checking for md5 file
skipping md5 check no md5 file found
e: error executing updater binary in zip / sdcard / gapps-ip-20141109-signed.zip

Please see the full information and instruction over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2958516 u have to download the right zip file ..download latest one as mention in link and you should have latest twrp recovery 2.8.7.0 to flash this rom ..I had also same issue with this nASOProm..so m in oneofakind ROM try this ROM if want for easy flash ..just download oneofakind ROM and gappsfor XS and do clean flash as i did in my above post..
