The dev said that the app had been temporarily down while the force close was being fixed. It is back up on the market again:

Is anyone else having the problem with the play store force closing when updating apps? It's been happening ever since upgrading to 4.4.2 and is getting really annoying. ..

Yes you are the only one but there is a good chance that
your play store issue can be solved.
Go into settings and then navigate to Application Manager.
Find the phonesky.apk and clear it's cache and data, then
reboot the phone and give the play store anothe try.
Good luck!
I've been having an issue with YouTube videos skipping frames or lagging. I've tried clearing the data for YouTube, reinstalling the app, and I know my Internet connection is fine. Any ideas?

Are you running stock or custom ROM?
SRX 3.0

Try uninstalling updates. Maybe a recent update is the issue?

It's not a pre-installed app so I can't just uninstall the updates, it just uninstalls the whole app

If you have a rom on hand you can try pulling the YouTube.apk from there. If that doesn't help, I'm not sure what else it could be other than network or account issues.
