Hi,
I have just discovered Themer and Zooper, and trying to customize custom theme downloaded from MyColorScreen. There is one widget that I would like to appear on all screens. I do not see an option to lock (dock) it somehow, so i was thinking of a way to copy it. I have saved the template, then placed new Zooper widget, and it seems it is very important to select a proper size for the widget. The problem is that I cannot read the size of the widget, I cannot manually set the same size as the original. This means that it never looks the same as the original widget, when I open the template which I saved. It is either scaled, or if I have made widget larger than required, it contains larger margin than original. From this point I am unable to resize it, since however I resize it, it always returns to previously set size.
So, how can I make the exact copy of particular widget?

Hello all
I need a recommendation for two apps.
The first thing I need is a clock widget with the following requirements:
1) maximum size 4x1
2) Will open timer/alarm clock/stopwatch options when touched (the stock is OK)
3) Displays date as well as time (not critical)
Go Weather Ex actually had everything I needed, except that it's weather forecast doesn't seem to be very accurate and I don't want a widget downloading useless data. (Go Clock would also be OK, but the only widget which is less than two lines in height is the transparent one, which I think is ugly )
The second is a calender app, with a widget which will display upcoming events and open a calender view when touched (if it can be synced with Google, so much the better).
Any suggestions?
Thx

Dear Friends,
I would like to learn how to make a wallpaper part, in the most exact way, to be clickable and to perform an action.
I know about the invisible shortcuts, but in my case I just couldn't match the shortcut the way I want.
Does somebody knows if there is an app or some other way that we can achieve the most precise result for mapping clickable areas on wallpaper?
Thank you in advance.
I think the only way I know would be exactly like you've described. Figuring out the grid that works for you, then making a wallpaper that matches that grid by actually making a grid wallpaper. Once you know the grid you can design parts of the wallpaper to match up with that grid overlay and make it work.
Or you can simply use another launcher that doesn't use grids thus allowing you to place invisible shortcuts anywhere.

Maybe a Live Wallpaper could work, but I would suggest UCCW or desktop vidualizer widgets!
ssLauncher doesn't you a grid layout and lets you place icons anywhere. Only problem is that it's a little clunky to use at first.

1. Install ssLauncher. Thus launcher enables you to put widgets anywhere you like and not particularly a grid system. If the area is like a corner or something, you could use any other launcher with a grid system.
2. Make an empty png file at the size of your desired clickable area.
3. Install desktop visualizer, add a widget and select probably the 1x1 option. Click that for options and load the empty png as image. Set whatever action you want it to do. You can manually resize your selfmade widget now with ssLauncher.
4.??
5. Profit
Desktop visualizer and make blank widgets.

You can make a blank widget from any icon that has "some" blank space. Just crop to the blank area when sizing it (assuming your launcher has a resize icon option). ssLauncher is a great choice for many reasons other than no grid.
I'm fairly new to zooper and am using nova prime. I use folders to make things tidy, while at the same time having access to all of my frequently used apps. I am wondering if it is possible, and if so, how would I create a widget (I want to create a text widget with transparency) that links or is the cover to a folder. Is this possible?
Thanks much and great app..

I'm also using Nova and still haven't been able to figure this out. In the mean time, I use simi widget but I would like to have Zooper support folders on its own. I can create them in the app drawer, but Zooper doesn't recognize them. Did you ever find a solution to this, or are you just using a third party app?
I was never able to get this to work with Nova. I also tried many of the other popular launchers including Apex, ADW, and Smart Launcher, but none of them worked either. What is required is a launcher that allows creation of a shortcut to a folder or group or something. To date, I've only found two launchers that do this: Themer and Lightning Launcher. Both are good, but for me, I really like the amount of configurability of Lightning Launcher. If you put in the time to work with it and combine it with Zooper, many of the "effects" that Themer tries to simulate, such as slide out drawers which have to be done with multiple screens a lot of widget duplication, can actually be made truly functional in Lightning Launcher. Check here to see a great example of this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/themer/zooper-templates/one-theme-t2790386
Hello!
I'm about to make a zooper widget pop up when I press another ZW on the screen. But, on my S5 and Nova Launcher I have a 7x6 grid, and when I try to choose which zooper widget to pop up, with the popup widget, I can't find the 6x1 og 6x2 grids, only 7x1 and 7x2 (plus the other smaller ones).. Any way to make a 6x1 pop up? They are different, he said stating the obvious, so they don't match when putting upon eachother, and thus my purpose fails..
Thanks a bunch!!
Hi,
how do i use multiple widgets on my homescreen with zooper? Pressing long only let me add one widget in different sizes or replace an existing one.
Bonus question: Is it possible to integrate a external widget (like from colornote) into my zooper widget?
