Boosting the volume (for the speaker) means the sound will get very-very distorted. It already buzzes like mad when at full volume.
If you want to boost the headphones volume (when playing music), search the Market for a music player with a sound EQ.

Since the speaker near to the camera is louder than the one at the bottom, I was wondering if we have any control over the balance between both speakers.
Basically I would like to be able to raise a litle the volume of the bottom's one.

The volume on this phone is great, I don't see a reason to boost it.
However if your rooted there are volume booster apps on the Play Store.
After rooting volume output has decreased on my desire 816 ...can anyone suggest how to get get back to normal default audio output...how to boost volume
