Hello friends! I m new here.
When my device was not updated (I.e. Android 4.1.2) I successfully Rooted my device using ODIN and CWM touch recovery by CHOTU!
But after I updated it to 4.2.2. (Official Rom by Samsung Service Centre) I think my device hasn't rooted successfully using the same tools described above and its not booting into Recovery Mod (HOME + VOL UP+ POWER)!
In other words, My device Restarts instead of booting into Recovery Mod!
BUT ITS STATUS IS SHOWING CUSTOM INSTEAD OF OFFICIAL!
Help me guys! :'(
Flash the recovery again using odin and download mode and try booting to recovery.

Recovery Mode not working!
I succesfully rooted my i9082 using Kingo root. Then, I tried flashing CWM using Odin3 in download mode. Even after successfully flashing, the phone doesn't boot to recovery, it stays stuck at the Samsung boot logo. Even the stock recovery seems to have disappeared. The phone boots normally and into download mode, but I can't seem to access recovery or even bootloader. I have tried several different custom recoveries, and my custom BIN down is at 7 counts. Some applications I got off the Play Store say that I have no available recoveries installed/recognized. What do I do?

Hi guys,
friend gave me his Arc S to tweak it and I have troubles installing custom recovery, or boot it in it.
I have rooted phone successfully and then I went to install CWM with x-parts. App said recovery was installed but I can not boot in the recovery. It just reboots the phone.
Tried pressing volume down, back buttons but nothing.
Phone ICS on it.
Does anyone have any suggestion?
Hi,

Hi all,
I've tried to install costum ROM ( unofficial CM 11 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2783617 ) with recovery PhilZ Touch 6.44.9. I did all the steps and it worked perfectly. But it has some bugs with the screen lock (when charging the screen becomes black but still lightened, also with wifi bug). I tried to reboot into recovery from the ROM (into the power menu, pressing restart -> reboot into recovery) and then the tablet won't restart. just the download mode works, else the tablet shut down just after writing "GALAXY TAB 3 " into the screen. So i've re installed the recovery PhilZ touch 6, which works and i've tried to restore the backup i've done before the "crash", but after that the tablet boot into recovery. I've tried intalling a new rom also the result (the Tablet boot into recovery).
Help please

1-Use Root Genius Application to One-click root your Grand i9082 (www.rootgenius.com) it's a windows app, (you need to install Grand i9082's drivers on your PC before rooting)
2-Download the Recovery's image (.img file) and transfer on device's SD card or internal memory
3-Download "Rashr" from Google Play
4-open Rashr
5-Make backup of stock recovery (incase something goes wrong)
6-Click Install recovery from storage
7-Select the Recovery's image (.img file) in Rashr and install your recovery
8-Reboot and enjoy!

Flash recovery again, try using Rashr app. If not work, might want to try flashing thru Odin.

Hi all, looking for some help here.
I picked up a pair of P607's to install Lineage on.
1. I flashed (via ODIN) the latest Samsung factory build from Sam Mobile (Now running 5.1.1).
2. Grabbed the latest TWRP tar file (twrp-3.1.1-0-lt03ltexx.img.tar)
3. Flashed TWRP via ODIN (AP button, selected the twrp tar, unchecked auto-reboot)
4. Held power button and turned off.
5. Powered back on and Held the [home - vol up - pwr] to boot into recovery to check TWRP.... and..... Recovery Boot Loop.
Odly enough, if I get it back into download mode and just boot it normally, it will boot fine back into the OS (stock rom, not lineage yet)
I can recover back to the factory by re-flashing the stock rom again, so it's recoverable.
I've tried with two different 3.1 TWRP versions now, twrp-3.1.0-0-lt03ltexx.img.tar and twrp-3.1.1-0-lt03ltexx.img.tar, both do the same thing.
Any ideas on this one?
There's definitely some odd issues with TWRP for this device...
3.1.1 Failed
3.1.0 Failed
3.0.2 Worked and boots into TWRP
Would be nice to get the latest TWRP working for this device, anyone interested in logs from the 3.1.0 or 3.1.1 attempts?
how did you get out of the boot loop? i cant seem to get back in to download mode

Today I got the same bootloop problem.
Impossible to enter the Download-Mode.
I removed carefully the Backcover and disconnect the battery plug for some seconds.
On the next start I´m holding down Vol- and entered Download Mode.
With Odin I flashed TWRP 3.0.2.0 (same version like before) and its working again without loosing the installed programs.
I think you can also wait until the battery is empty .....
Hope it helps a bit to recover a great tablet.

Most ROMs here install fine with 3.0.2. That's what I am using on my 607T.
