Doubt it'll be me, but I'd love to test it out. Getting tired of using my OTG cable and external battery charger, hah.

Well so far I got everyone beat but still wanna know the size and all. I mean I will test and eval anything electronic and do all the time but wouldn't want to take this away from someone else if its big enough i wouldn't actually use it
I'll volunteer for testing. Size looks like an interesting factor to talk about, considering all the rage about thin phones recently.
Hope i can help, that's really useful for me for calling clients in the law firm

Thanks for the tip.
That looks nice and would be great for extended trips.
Two full charges to a smartphone.
That's bad for the package size that it comes in (5.4oz).

I got this one and love it. It's super slim and the cord is built-in so nothing extra to carry. You charge it with a normal micro-USB cord. In theory, 2900 mAh should charge the E4GT 1.5 times but when I tested it, it did a full charge and then charged maybe 10-20% the second time. Quality seems really top notch.

I chatted with a rep online and was able to get a 27% discount on this Tylt. Same as my company discount.
Should be a nice replacement to my 8000 energizer. I really like that it has a built in micro-usb.
I got this one about a year ago and has been great for trips. 11,000 mAh. It will charge the phone 5 times with a single charge!

from what ive researched, that seems to be the highest mAh for a reasonable price, good lookin out man, i may get this over the tylt.
I got on chat and said I thought my discount was for accessories as well, they said that it wasn't, but it I purchased something, they would credit my account 27% of the purchase price.
Never get what you want unless you ask for it I guess.

on a Sunday afternoon. Not a big deal, but a nice little surprise I forgot about. The pocket charger has an in and out port too so you can put it inline with your phone while charging. The backing is slick (as in slippery'ish, not cool) to I'm just going to stick on my wife's since she uses a case anyways. Just thought I'd share
*Interestingly enough, I went to that QR code or whatever it's called on the back of the cover and it's to a Korean website with accessories for the Galaxy Note.

I'm not really interested in turning these around for a couple of $ profit each one. Its not worth the time. Subvertz, you asked first about the one I have so I PM'd you.
I'm not really impressed with the pattern on the battery cover, but if you guys like it, to each his own. Different tastes I suppose. I do like the little battery charger. My wife is going to keep that in her purse as she invariably forgets to charge her phone. I'm sure it will come in very handy.

A few are complaining about the Aluminum edge chipping easily.
Seriously, Apple makes some damn fine hardware. I love my Ubuntu\Win8\OSX triple boot MB Air even though they screwed up by not having power, usb and thunderbolt on the same side for vertical dock. I also wish it had 3G/4G radio for my old att unlimited data ipad plan.

You know what? I'm very tempted to buy an apple laptop after my windows one dies...but with iPhones?....NEVER.
PS...I told one of my friends about the quality issue...at first he didn't think much of it...but yesterday he told me his iPhone 5 has a bit on the aluminium edge that has not been painted properly....so I think there is a large proportion that are suffering from this quality issue

In my opinion, it does not matter where to produce. It does matter who is the brand owner. Almost all Apple products are made in China. Are their products of poor quality! If the manufactory in a country cannot meet the quality standard, the brand owner will not put their product in there for manufacturing. All the customers are looking for the brand for taking decision to buy, not the manufacturing country. The country cannot change the quality but the quality is set by the brand owner. If the quality is not good, blame the brand owner as usual, not the manufacturing country as the quality is set by the brand owner. The world and each country must provide a fair trade environment to ensure a fair and healthy competition and the customers and product providers are the final winners.
---------- Post added at 02:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:51 PM ----------
I have learnt the Korean brand products made in Korea is better than any export products. Do anyone know why? I have learnt the same on Japanese products that Japanese are keen on quality than anyone in other countries. Thus they provide better products for local consumption and lower quality for export to meet their quality level. I am unsure if it is correct or not. The human being demands quality continuously once they discover the better quality can be achieved.

I've been looking for more than Amazon reviews on this for weeks now. I would give it a full detailed write up!
Looks like a nice case, and I'm particularly interested in how it attaches.
I have one of the Limefuel cases which I almost never use, because it tends to pry up the glass screen protectors I use.
Looking at the photo of this one, am I right in thinking it's partly making use of the headphone jack to hold itself in place
seems pretty cool, I wanna try it out

Volume down + power. I think this is standard for all androids now.
That was easy.
Swyping up from the home button to open google now, is that no longer a thing or did I just change a setting without noticing? Is there a way to enable it or set google now on tap to work with swype up vs holding the home button.
Buying phone from another country
I'm planning to ask a relative to buy me a nexus 5X from Canada, and I intend to use it in Egypt. Is the network/calling stuff going to work normally? I know it's going to be unlocked but I'm just asking for the "network bands" I see listed on gsmarena.
Thanks

In Google Messenger, how can I select from different photo albums - such as Screenshots, Instagram, Downloaded, etc when wanting to send an MMS? My previous phone was an iPhone
LTE bands for various phone versions
I am confused about the LTE band support in different models.
I need the bands 7 and 20 for it to work in Russia (if I am not mistaken). But I got confused if these are supported on the US version of the phone.
On one hand I see these where the bands 7 and 20 are mentioned as supported. I can't post the links but here are there descriptions which can be googled:
support google nexus 5x tech spec
gsmarena nexus 5x
On the other hand I see some news about LG-H790 vs LG-H791 nd FCC certifying the phone. And these news do not have the bands 7 and 20 listed.
androidauthority nexus 5x fcc listing
So which of these sources should I trust?
Also is there anybody in Russia or somewhere else who has the US version and can confirm that the bands 7 and 20 work or do not work?
Anyone here uses super beam app? It seems to not working in n5x/android6

Does anyone know if there is a setting that will allow me to rearrange or even add soft keys. Currently I have the g4 and I am able to do so I switch the recent app and the back button an really would like that.. But can't find the setting for that on 5x

That's a hard question to answer, everyone will have an opinion. DxOMark is pretty thorough when it comes to reviewing cameras though:

thanks a lot!
Does the flash emit yellow light instead of white?
Anyone else having problems getting android file transfer to work correctly on a mac with the 5x? I continually get an error that says it can't mount the file system, and if the display is locked (which it isn't), please unlock and try again. My mac can talk to the phone though, I've successfully used adb push/pull to move files.

Also anyone have seen that quick charge doesn't work if the screen is on? It's like it doesn't charge at all when using.

There was talk before about this in General Section. I believe it was said that it is to keep the phone from over heating. Now someone has figured out how to turn off BCL which I think might play a part in throttling and whatnot. Sorry no expert. But I am thinking that if BCL is turned off that perhaps the phone will quick charge when screen is on?
