I Flashed Liquidsmooth this week, and the battery life is bad, so i would like to know: what is the best kernel that is compatible with this rom?
Or maybe there is another rom that is better than this one?

I've tried 2 versions of it,
first one: if i lock my screen i cant get the phone back on.

Try this kernel with cm official this will definitely work, I heard there are some problems with liquid smooth

Install cm 11 latest milestone release and clear dalvic and cache after installing all extras like kernel etc

First i had the status 7 error on Philz touch Custom recovery, now i flashed Clockwork mod and installed the latest cyanogenmod 11 Nightly build.
Is this rom better than Liquidsmooth?
And what is the fastest kernel to install with CM11?

4.8 but from the RC branch as development in MIUI APKs has stopped; the stock kernel that is generated when CM is built comes with this

Hi, guys! Today, I looked on the S4 Active forum (just for fun) and I saw that this still great device is pratically no longer supported, so I tried to port the JASONRR's masterpatch for Marshmallow AOSP roms.
Before jumping of joy I have to tell you that THIS IS A BLIND MADE tool!
Yep, you got it. I don't own the S4A anymore, but I felt so bad when I bought it and realized that there were no support from anyone, so I tried this blind build of the tool. I hope it works, let me know!

So, for installing AOSP roms you should:
- Download any cm13 based S4 (I9505) ROM, the more "pure" it is, the more are the possibilities to boot up!
- Download the patch
- Wipe system, data, dalvik, cache
OR
- Flash in multiboot:
- Flash the ROM
- Flash the patch
- Reboot and let me know

As I said it is a blind made version.
Btw, did you encounter any error with the installation? Or doesn't it just boot? Try with any almost pure cm13 and let me know please.
It seems that nobody is intrested in cm13...

The idea of the MasterPatch all started with the i537 for porting ROMs from the i9505. Then another MasterPatch was created to flash i9505 KK ROMs to the i9295. I suggest taking a look at the two threads below, they may have some additional information on which files need to be modified/replaced to get i9505 ROMs working on the i9295.

So, everybody:
I installed it with the DualBootPatcher on my external SD-card. Everything worked fine. So I can gladly say: You are able too install and use this ROM, even if you are not on stock. But I have found some issues:
SD-Card is called unusal. This could also be only my problem, because of the dualboot. We would need somebody who can try it also.
Camera is not working. Immedialty crashing.
Some random crashes. But they are gone away when I reopen the App. E.g. open the contact over the dial app. I will try to capture them, but its hard, because they are random.
Device name is Grand 2, not S3 Neo.
When installing an App from google play, it stucks in the download image and gets removed from the status bar. It seems to happen bevore the download progress finishes and the installing progress starts. But eventually, it comes up again in the status bar and then finishes.
Sometimes, the Apps in Google Play dont show the rigths they want, they just install.
Two SIM-Cards avaible, even if my S3-Neo just have one slot.
Random lags
It feels like I m experience some hard performance issues. Maybe use Ciros buil.prop?
Youtube-App does not work probably. Maybe also performance?
Sensors do not work.
The status bar freezes sometime. When this happens, you cant see the open apps via holding long time the down-button. Its just a clean background.
One random reboot.
Something to add?

You just need to install KitKat if your last stock firmware was JellyBean

But if you are using some Custom ROM for S3 Neo, it means your last stock firmware was KitKat

Was your stock system bevore cm Android 4.4? Whatever, I would suggest that you install 4.4 and then, try to install lineage But maybe the dev has other ideas.

I haven't try other rom, but in AOKP can't install Instagram, said it's not compatible, chrome and other google apps also

As per my opinion lineage os is the best...it give huge battery....most stable rom

First take backup of all current used application using Titanium Backup with data.
Backup your existing ROM using TWRP.
Wipe Dalvik/Cache/System/Data(excluding internal)
Install any nougat rom.
First boot will take some time.
Restore all/selective application from Titanium backup.
