Can drivers from a Tab Pro P900 kernel be added to that of the Tab 3 10" P5200 so that this device can be support this adapter http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Original-Adapter--UP900-Galaxy/dp/B00J2N0GB4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427201186&sr=8-1&keywords=ET-UP900 There's this user on android stack exchange that got this working by porting the LANHUB drivers to his kernel http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/98063/powered-usb-hub-not-charging-phone-kernel-options
So Im wondering if the same could be done for Tab 3. I am more than willing to buy coffee for anyone who can get this working for me as I only have access to ethernet at work and I want to use mouse and keyboard to work from my tablet. Thanks in advance.
New kernel source from open source samsung have option in menuconfig. Grab a guide set a environement and try it. So much fun
So first of all, here's the disclaimer: I know NOTHING about building stuff, and I have a VERY slow network to even sync the sources required to make it on my own (I live off of 90KB/s)
For the past 2 days I've been banging my head into the wall trying to figure out a way to get my TP-LINK TL-WN321G to work on OOS or CM or a chrooted Kali Linux. Apparently some modules need to be configured into the OnePlus 3 kernel in order for the rt2501/rt2573 to be recognized by the device via USB OTG.
So the humble request is as follows: Is there ANYONE nice enough to actually sync a kernel source (OOS or CM13) and modify the kernel to support the modules necessary for all of this to work? If I can make a chrooted kali linux along with a working wifi adapter that supports monitor mode, I can practically ace my Senior Project.
Thank you!
Hey guys.I would like to know is there any possibility to run linux on Galaxy Tab S4 with limbo emulator or any other emulator at near full speed.I am new to running linux on android so if someone could explain what kvm is and how to enable it on this device that would be awesome. Also what are the restrictions of using an emulated linux on android for example will the Wifi, Bluetooth, Or the type C connector work. Hello,
Found Kali Nethunter for our beloved S4 Tab.
https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-nethunter-download/
Not sure how we can use it. Direct install from TWRP or it has something to do with Dex?
Do we need custom kernels to make it fully functional or everything is included in the zip?
Edit: Just flashed zip through twrp, everything's fine so far.
Virtualisation??
can't we just virtualize it on dex........as of Linux on dex's Ubuntu 16.04 lts ???

Not sure why you need to have Kali if you can run Ubuntu on dex. You can get all the tools from Kali on your Ubuntu as far as I am concerned.

Hey My problem is have installed Custom kali Nethunter by watching some one on YouTube I installed it and iam happy with it But when attached My External Wifi Adapter (Alfa )
It didn't detect it and after some searching on google i must use custom Kernel That support Monitor Mode.
Iam running Havoc OS 3.7 Android 10Q is there any Custom Kernel That support Monitor Mode for this Device Does Stock MIUI Kernel support it? Thanks for read my problem...
Best regards
actually you need to compile your adapter's driver
Only driver or the whole kernel?
the driver can be compiled with the kernel so take both of them

Hello my fellow developer
I am gladly working on such a kernel but currently have some problems compiling it, the stock miui kernel doesn't support wifi injection or any such feature you will need to build your own, if you find any solution I would like to be informed as I want to get it running!
