Full body shield

Hey just came across this full body shield on ebay. The price is very affordable to anyone but the big problem is that they only ship to India. Anyone has previously purchased from them and do they ship worldwide?

Which one can be fully covered device? as I see mostly covered but there are little surface will not be covered by film...

Xtreme Guard's shield does not fully cover the Note. Only the lcd and battery cover - very disappointed.

After I use the hair dryer and some stretching....my skinomi carbon fiber skin covers about 99% of my phone....so I would think that their transparent one should do the same

I went for one of the gadgetshieldz.com clear skins.
I gave up trying to get the side pieces to sit correctly.
I didn't bother with the battery cover option as it would not look right on the textured finish.
In the end I just applied the front cover.
My thoughts after a couple of week usage.
It marks up when using the stylus (which I do a lot) and doesn't heal.
I have not used the stylus for a week (on purpose) and I can still see the words I wrote previously.
The overalll size could be improved, it is approximately 0.38 mm too narrow all round and you get an extra lip which is very noticeable when swiping.
Just my tuppence.

I tried the iDefense carbon fibre skin. It's very difficult to apply at the rounded edges, and overall it makes the phone MORE SLIPPERY.

After spending several hours on internet in search of skin for my Nexus 5 I found Skinnova skins made by gadgetshieldz.
Yes I know dbrand, slick wraps and cruzerlite also makes skins for several phones including N5 but they cost too much and as I live in India I was unable to find them on any e-commerce site, I also thought of buying them from there respective official sites but dbrand offers tracked shipping for 25$ and another method was risky plus I don't have patience to wait for 2-4 weeks.
Coming to the point I bought this skin which is Tamo wood for ₹ 699 and it arrived on next business day the shipping was very fast as I don't live in a metro city. After opening the box which contained skin, I touched the surface of the skin and it felt like a real wood. I don't know about dbrand or slickwraps whether they provide specifically cut screen protector with skin or not but skinnova provides screen shield too of course it is wet application screen shield as gadgetshieldz only make wet type screen protectors but you will also get the applying solution, a squeeze card and a micro fibre cloth.
The skin look gorgeous as I already got many compliments today and at first glance some of friends asked is it real wood??

What kinda purpose bro?? It's out of my curiosity.

Earlier I have ordered from Slickwraps , which never arrived to me in 6 months time. Then I got one from Ebay at @ Rate of Rs.2499 and applied it to my white nexus. Then I again ordered one from Dbrand for my Black nexus. Which also took me 1.5 Month to arrive in India.
Now I have bought a Red Nexus 5 again to which I was finding skins within ebay and other Indian websites, where they were unavailable.
But your post gave me the exact place to buy one. I spent 4-5 days trying to find one skin within India. Your OP is the exact situation I was going through for the last one week.

Love this skin for Nexus5
Bought sandstone red skin from Gadget shieldz( https://www.gadgetshieldz.in )for my Nexus 5 & I'm lovin' it! Love the color, love the texture & most of all love to hold the phone as gives an extra grip while holding. Believe me that's an extra plus point as the phone slips from my hands whenever they get dry in AC. There were sticker for front and sides, I didn't use them though.
Pros: 1) Nicely design with cut out for Nexus logo on back.
2) Nice texture and gives a good feel
3) Adhesive is very strong and not messy so keep the skin at place.
4) Package comes with detail instructions and front skin guard along with back and side skins.
Cons: 1) Size is little bit smaller though it's not visible normally.
2) Adhesive is very strong so faulty application will give hard time for re-positioning.
Suggestion for the designers : Please put two adhesive protectors behind meeting at the middle so that they can be pulled from both sides making proper positioning easier.
Overall I love it!

A question guys, I'm planning to buy this, but what will happen if it comes in contact of water ? As my phone is water resistant but I'm not too sure about the Skinnova skin

It is not. The skinnova skin makes skins for MANY phones not just the Nexus. I own a Motorola. And this is the only thread which I could find about skinnova. So that's why I am asking questions about the skin for my phone on this thread. Got it?? I never once said that Nexus is water resistant. We are just talking about the skins

2.Why not create a simple thread in your device forum?? It wont hurt anyone
3.You are writing in Nexus 5 thread, not mentioned that you have a motorola device, so "We are just talking about the skins" isn't in right place. I believe there's a section about accesories in xda forums.

GadgetShieldz Skinnova Skins for OnePlus2

I recently ordered a skin for my OnePlus 2 (Sandstone back) from a local Indian site called GadgetShieldz which go by the name Skinnova. Its exactly as in more or less like dbrand skins, but I wouldn't know cause I havent tried them yet. I wanted dbrand but couldn't afford the shipping charges. And this was cheaper, only Rs 832 (approx $12).
It took about 2 days for them to deliver it and according to most videos I've seen applying them is exactly like you do for dbrand skins. These are also 3M standard. Application was fairly easy. My combo was White carbon-fibre for the front and back, blue sandstone for the OnePlus logo and brushed titanium for the camera metal. Even though I know dbrand is the best, but Skinnova is a worthy and able local replacement for anyone in India who can't afford or wait for it.
PS: A few extra options and textures would have been better but its very good and Don't forget to leave thanks if you found this useful

Hi. I'm a skinnova user too. I have the ebony wood applied to my phone from like 5 months now. It's awesome. It really feels like wood in hands and people often think that it's actually wooden. Go blindly when it's skinnova.

Btw, did you not get the metallic frame skin? Because I did, in the ebony wood skin pack. Or did you simply not apply it yet?

I didn't order the sides skin cause i use a bumper case so it would have of no use. I ordered the Front+Back+Camera+Logo only. I''ll go for the wooden textures next time.

Will try in the future..dbrand are awesome but costly for me..thanks for sharing..

Its a full case, are u sure u are using this because the case will cover any skin you may have applied.

hey mate! i just wanted to know if the carbon fibre finish on the back is slippery as i am not going to use a case over the skin. So i dont want to drop the phone every now and then or else i will go for black leather skin.

Its not as grippy as the sandstone finish, but its manageable

I'll answer that after I remove the ebony wood skin from the back. It didnt affect the metal frames. I had it applied there too.

I ordered too. Seems pretty promising, don't think the quality will be as good as dbrand's but the price really cuts it.

I ordered the silver one from gadgetshieldz.com with blue sandstone one plus logo and camera skin. Have to say the phone looks very good. The materials used are also top notch.
Application was easy, have not had any issue with it for over 2 + weeks now.
Feels nice to hold, grip is similar to what we have with Kevlar cover.
The side grip was a little rough during the first few days. But now it's not a problem.

No it doesn't spoil the sandstone back, I switched 3 skins in the span of the past year. I'm rocking the OPT naked now and the sandstone still retains the same grippy feel.

Its made to last long, and plus the adhesive behind doesn't loosen so if you were to remove it you can easily put it back on with the help of a hairdryer and repeating the same process. I used mine for almost 7-8 months before getting tired of it, but it didn't peel back or loosen because of dust build up. Go for it.
Also if you need and alternate, Amazon India has currently discounted the StyleSwap covers(Rosewood, Karbon, Apricot) for just Rs.299, ATM I'd suggest you take advantage of this deal. (considering Rs1700 was overkill )

Its good, go for it. Other than the official, it is hard to find Tempered glasses that fit properly.
I too have ordered 3 cases. The Karbon was unavailable tho. I love that thing.

Yea, I'm surprised but this was probably because they want to get rid of their stock quickly and Amazon's Great Indian Festival Sale (wtf name) was going one.
They should have price cuts in others parts of the world too but not sure if they will be this deep.
Even crappy Chinese accessories are not available at this price.
