You just said in your first post that you weren't S-Off. Anyway, I suggest finding an RUU for your correct M8 variant and flashing it via fastboot or the external sdcard method. There is a high chance that the internal sdcard will be wiped so be warned.

Try booting back into recovery and wiping data and cache and reinstalling your ROM, if best try doing a restore from a backup.

This happened once to me. What saved me was the Nexus Root Toolkit by Wugfresh.
I just allowed it to flash the image that I already had downloaded (but forgot to put in phone). Give that a shot if nothing else is working for you. Luckily I had fastboot drivers already installed.
So, last night i was ready to instal a new rom. I booted it to hboot and then went to revory and did a wipe of everything, dalvik cahe and such.
then i flashed my desired rom from zip... it installed successfuly and then i rebooted .
i then connected to my pc went to cmd type to flash boot.img .. after i waiting 30min i read the forums to see why it did not go .
so i forgot to install the superboot to root my phone
im pretty sure this is why it bricked
so at first i was like okay i made backup no worries.
but then
i tried to resore and when i click the restore file it tells me
MD5 mismatch
now i dont know what to do
any help is greatly appreciated

Try rooting it now. If you can access recovery, then you are not bricked. Root it and install rom again (after a factory reset)
Did u rename your backup? If u did go rename to whatever it was b4... should take away your error

I never flashed or rooted my phone. Its stuck where the samsung logo comes up and the blue and purple halo circles it. I have access to both the volume up+home button+power button menu, aswell and the volume down menu. I already cleared the system cache and was wondering what to do?
If possible i would like to be able to extract my data before doing a factory reset. Any help would be great!

well u need to set up adb in windows and make sure its connecting with your device
u need to flash stock then chainfire auto root
check if its entering recovery now then proceed with adb hopefully u have efs backup .tar file safe in pc or anywhere ,search google how to set adb
it seems to be an issue with efs partition,
i blv this can be even done by flashig pit file http://d-h.st/Dlv here and then the stock firmware.
and since u have never rooted use ur warranty and give it to service guys if not able to solve
edit:read this thread in english hope u understand now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204960

Hi,
I tried to install cm11 on my new F240L and i think i used the wrong cwm file on freegee.
Now when i turn it on there is a screen on for a second saying: secure booting error. cause: device unlock! , so boot success!!
after that it goes to a screen loop of cm logo spinning.
i couldn't find a solution online.
What can I do?

I get the same device unlock error when I boot up, but I believe that is normal when you have root.. Did the CM file flash successfully and which one did you use?
yes it said the flash was successful and still its stuck in a loop.
could it be the wrong cwm on freegee?

Can you still get to CWM? If so, try wiping cache and dalvik cache to begin with.. If that doesn't work, do you know how to push files from the computer to the phone through ADB? If you do, here is the link for correct recoveries for the F240L..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2361941
You could download and push one of those recoveries, reboot to recovery, then try to reflash CM11...if all else fails, you can return to stock with the LG Flash tools and start from scratch..

yes there is.
after pressing on install zip it says: install zip from sideload
Do you know how to sideload? You can try to download and sideload another rom that is compatible with your device.. As long as you can get to recovery or download mode you still have hope...If your screen doesn't turn on at all, that's when you are hard bricked and out of luck
---------- Post added at 11:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:23 AM ----------
I didn't even think about this, but if it still recognizes your external SD card, you can download a rom onto your computer, copy it to the SD card, then install through CWM.

SD does nor seem to work
I do not know how to do that. Where is it recommended to learn?
You first have to have Android SDK found here:
https://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
This link explains what ADB is and how to use it:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/what-is-adb-and-how-to-install-it-android/
I'm not familiar with the F240L as mine is the E980.. I don't want to give you any wrong information...
I did find this thread that looks similar to your problem:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552699
That may be a start on how to fix it.. I know how frustrating it can be.. I have soft bricked mine once..
thanks! I read and tried pushing several files a few times and they either install successfully and i come back to cwm or are stuck trying to install the rom.
again, any ideas?

You can not come in?
If so, make a backup of what is without creating MD5 checksums then upload the rom again and restore only the data.

Here is my problem
My friend gave me his note 2 to fix WiFi it was already rooted
I downloaded slimkat and flashed it it worked good
And WiFi worked but he wanted a touchwiz look
So I downloaded jellykat ROM but didn't read the instructions and flashed with cwm
Got into bootloop then I flashed twrp recovery using Odin and reflashed the ROM but I got the fix root error and I swiped to fix
Then also bootloop ..I downloaded Dr.ketan stock ROM
And flashed philz recovery through twrp recovery and then flashed ROM also backed up efs
The phone also didn't boot stuck at bootscreen
Then I got frustrated and didn't know what to do I flashed the nd3 bl through Odin
And rebooted but nothing changed ..I read in Dr.ketan thread about flashing stock recovery and the bl
So I did all through odin and I rebooted but I had no recovery I tried flashing both twrp and cwm through Odin but also nothing
Now I have no recovery but I have download mode
I can Odin flash stock but I can't loose the data inside I really need the data
i think the problem is with the boot loader since i flashed nd3 bootloader and when device booted it didnt finish
so any ideas???
Why not any 4.4.2 stock firmware through Odin? Seems to be the easiest way to get the device started again.

Look, flashing with Odin is like getting an update by Samsung. Users would turn crazy if such an update would wipe their data.
Firmware is always installed in system partition and never somewhere out.
Besides: Photos and vids are mostly saved on external SD. Where are yours?
