error 6, Instalation aborted i think.
I rebooted and it takes about 4-5 minutes to get to the select language screen.
random reboots, setup.apk crashes, systemui crashes

This is perfect, as soon as camera and gallery get fixed, I'm flashing. I use my phone as a camera a lot so it's a need for me. I'mma be watching the progresssss.

Alright ladies and gentlement the time is here already. Fully working 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Nexus.
There is no need for a long write up, it is what it is. Ported from the booting verizon version, ported from the GSM OTA, so lets concentrate on those who made it possible.
#1 Shabby Penguin - first on the scene getting the ball started as usual. Bothering me after I just released 3 roms simultaneously Shabby knocked out Wifi issues with the vendor blobs from ICS, rooted it, and deodex'd the rom
#2 DreamsForgotten - between getting sleep and working all day I thought I would miss all the fun! Knocked out Eri, and MMS errors. Sprint Updates can't be achieved just yet.
#3 earthbound[iap] - swapping out the RIL's, glad someone was feeling adventurous!
#4 Uber(tm) - For having working apktool and a kick ass aapt that devours part of JellyBean and compiling my changes with the quickness!!!!
#5 TooSlo - GPS.conf - getting an instant lock!

and then removed the radio update, then it should work on the Sprint variant. I know I seen another guy flashed it on his Sprint version but his radio is broke due to this but all else worked fine. Think it's possible?

If you did the smart thing and made a nandroid backup... Just restore that... If not wipe everything and flash old rom

Google released Factory Images of Jelly Bean (4.1.1) for Galaxy Nexus yesterday (07/27/12). This is not from OTA, but straight from Google's Factory Image.
This is a STOCK, Deodexed and Odexed, Rooted with Unsecured Boot with Google Wallet for all you guys. Please wipe data/cache then flash.
I don't mind you guys using this as your base, as long as credit is given.

difference is OTA vs Factory Image straight from Google. I, like many others, always prefer a Factory Image. Your pick.

This is not Aosp. You dont need gapps with this. This is straight from google. Everthing works.

All bigxie mod, nav bar works. Just do wipe cache, dalvik then flash mod the fix permission.

Fundamentally, there's no difference between stock image and OTA. So if one's on bigxie, there's no reason to switch to this or vice versa. Unless if what I said below is true, bigxie's would be better.
@OP: Did you zipalign after deodex, if not, that's likely the reason why files in this ROM are smaller.

The update script in the zip might just need to be updated to say "toro" instead of "maguro" wherever it exists. That's fixed other flashing issues I've had with mods that should be otherwise compatible.

There is really no need for separate toro and maguro versions, Browser doesn't care what kind of phone service you have. You can just use a generic updater-script that doesn't check the device type, and everyone will be happy.

All seem to be working... so except for theme not changing and the black on black cursor (unless ur OCD, this should not be an issue :victory , this is beautifully perfect..
Calculator's key pad is white on white. I don't use the stock anyway :angel:
