I received my G3 and installed a CM12 ROM on it, but noticed the vibrate is awfully weak. I have the VS985/Verizon model, are there any system tweaks or kernels I can install to increase the strength? Anyone else having this issue?

I've flashed many roms and I always get the same issue. Every time I turn the screen off I always get the notification ringtone. It happens all the time now. does anyone have a solution to this.
Right now I'm on PAC Rom latest version. I've always done a full clean install

I know this sounds basic but it can often be overlooked.
Would that be the screen lock sound? That can be toggled in the sound settings menu.
If its not, then im not sure what else would be causing it.

Is anybody else noticing a drop in in-call volume since the 4.1.2 update? I have DSP manager installed on my OG from before the update and still call volume is ridiculously low. Any suggestions? Maybe uninstall and reinstall DSP manager first?
I've noticed the same thing and I've found no way to make it louder.

I took DSP Manager off my phone and went back to the stock sound setup. I'll let you know if it worked to cure the call volume problem. May be something we have to report to LG.
I'm experiencing the same thing. More times than not I am unable to hear the caller on the other end well enough to hold a conversation.

So I took DSP manager off and no dice. I'm wondering if I might HAVE to root it and put on a new ROM and maybe put Awesome Beats on the phone in order to get the results I want.
I think this is something that can be modified with the kernel. I remember on the galaxy nexus there were a few Franco nightlies he was testing that had in call volume issues. Some were too low some were crackely. If he was able to modify something within his kernel to effect call volume then I'm sure it can be tweaked to a higher volume.

You can try using a different modded rom, which includes clear phase and things like that, it can solve your problem

I have an LG optimus G running cm10.2.0 stable. Anyone else noticing lag? Just occasional jumps. Especially when I unlock the device sometimes. I push the lock button to turn on the screen and the lights come on but the screen doesn't come on for another couple of seconds. Anyone else noticed this? Yes I have completely wiped the device and started fresh. This didn't solve the problems. Thanks in advance for any reply!

Yes, I've noticed some lag too even when I'm just using my phone, sending text messages etc. Don't know if it's just a bug or something I did wrong though...
Have you tried running lagfix? I'm running stock. When my phone feels laggy, running lagfix seems to work. Maybe cm10.2 does fstrim automatically so lagfix won't do anything.
Hmm I dunno I used lagfix in 10.1.3 but that was very stable, I never found any bugs, so maybe it might work. Depends, like you said it might do fstrim automatically. I'll try it.

I'm on cm11 20131218 nightly it works great for me. Just occasional tiny lags, but it's rarely seen and usually goes back to normal in 3-4 seconds.
I dunno right now gonna try and iron out the bugs in 10.2.0 first I'm thinking of making a backup then updating. I tried the unofficial and it was clunky.

Right now I'm running the latest nightly (21 December) and it's pretty smooth. A little less ram usage(70mb at most) and it's not buggy yet. Smooth for everyone else?

So I flashed the first version of CM12 and was very pleased with the speed and such but there were quite a few bugs. One thing I experienced was the phone app hung on me a couple times and I couldn't get back to the phone app after multi-tasking. Another thing was the status bar pull down was very buggy and sometimes wouldn't pull down, go back up, let me select a notification, etc.
Has anyone used the newer ones to know that these items are fixed or no longer an issue?
Similar problems here. Waiting on upcoming builds to see if they're addressed.

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully they can get that stuff ironed out because other than that it was a smoking fast build!
Just downloaded 1/26, and liking what I'm seeing so far.

Nice! Let me know if it's daily driver status yet, I use my phone for work and take phone calls all day long and can't be restarting my phone after every call, lol.
Its my daily driver
but anyone else notice updates need to be flashed manually in TWRP?
Yes same here don't know what is going on
With CM 12, is there any way WiFi Calling/Texting can be implemented? I know it's a T-Mibile feature, but knowing it's a T-Mobile issued G3, I believe it's more possible than other carrier CM 12.
1/28 seems to have broken tap to sleep. Tap to wake still works
Edit....
Fixed in 1/29 [emoji4]

Not until the nexus 6 gets the update for the WiFi calling, would it be remotely close for us. And even then there is no guarantee that it would work on this phone.

Anyone else have contacts crash when importing/exporting?
I really don't want to type it in by hand.
Anyone able to download the 2/02 nightly? Errors out for me.
It asks me to DL an installer, but then says the G3 isn't supported.

CM12 is killing my battery life. Otherwise, I really like it.
Sent from my LG-D851 using XDA Free mobile app
Well I flashed the 2/03 nightly and it's still having the same issues...
It runs flawlessly until I make a phone call, then the status bar gets stuck pulled down. I can't get back to the call to end it, select anything from the status bar or slide the status bar up. Sometimes it fixes itself but mostly I have to restart the phone. I flashed Illusion for now and other than the screen not turning on when I pull the phone away from my face while on a call it's working really well.
I'll try CM in another week or so.
Hey guys, I got the official CM 12 upto date rom on my G3. My question is that is there any way I can get the tap to wake the display back on my G3.

Just go in the settings, it's in there in all CM ROMs.
It's under Display or just use the settings search bar and search the word TAP.
Thanks Jason, its working flawlessly.
