They won't delete it. You might as well think of another question and retitle this post so at least it won't be a total waste of space and people's time. LOL
so. why not have the answer? can you not remove it? takes up my notification area and i dont use it. ive searched and cannot find an answer!
If you have wanam installed. There's an option under notification panel to disable it. Perhaps more people should reply with useful information rather than badgering someone.
If the original question was "How do I remove S-finder and Quick connect" Then this was asked in the right section. I know the answer, but others may not. We were all "noobs" at one time or another. Forum rules 2.3.

@jimmbomb there's the answer.
The answer was was given by mybikeisblack. This is a Q and A section. I have seen plenty of people flamed for asking simple questions. This forum is for all of us to learn. Much like asking what tweezers are for.

"Tweezers"?? in my NOte 4 box?? why?
Please move on from this. Who knows, the answers you help someone with may end up motivating them to become a hell of a developer, make their day, or just simply make you feel like a good person.

Hello there!
I have a small suggestion to help minimize duplicate threads.
This is especially prevalent in the HD2 forum where every day people make new threads about Android on HD2 (which, I am guilty of doing too...my apologies )
So, on some other vBulletin boards in which I am a member, they have a great feature.
When someone is creating a new thread and puts in the thread title, the board displays previous threads that have similar titles. I really think it is necessary to have that functionality in here too.
Just my 2c
Thanks for reading!
It's one I have suggested a few times before, but I am not sure what vB mod it is.
Any ideas?
Is this it?

Thanks, I'll stick on the admin's list and see what he says
thanks for reading
I hope the admins can realize this, it would be a great feature.

+1 on this
So I looked into this and turned on a plugin that shows related threads at the bottom of each thread page. Two problems with it: 1. It's not that useful 2. It affects sever performance.
If anyone knows of a plugin that will search as you type a new thread title in, that would be great.
Don't know about the real time search (I am not an admin so I don't know the first thing about vBulliten) but here is the screen shot of an example of what I was talking about from the avsforum board in the first post and the relevant plug in:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and here is the page for the plug in:
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=151714
I understand that this plug in is heavy on the server. As such, is it possible to turn it on just for some high activity sub forums?

Hey,
Does anybody know what kind of images XDA can manage in particular gifs? Does there have to be a certain size or something? Just wanted to know because I have had some trouble with frozen gifs only on xda. Wondering If anybody knew. I have started to make my own and upload them to xda but it stays frozen.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
EDIT: As an update, your images cannot be too big or it will not play on xda.

Hey douchebag, use another site to host the picture and you will be fine. You know your question is douchbaggery when you only get one decent response. Sorry but I had to say it. And you only have 200 posts.

I'm sorry. But please respect other members... it's wrong to call anyone douchebags just because you don't agree with them. And the number of posts is not really relevant here imo. So please respect other members.
Please give credit where credit is due..
If you can't even search how can I help you??
Thread closed because it seems the OP was trolling himself with another account (sammysung12). yes that's right. Both accounts are the same person
I'm posting this here because I feel more people would use this if they could find it. I originally posted this in the tmobile t889 general forum.

Not trying to be the bad guy just pointing out facts ok!
Ok I think WE got that you're trying to share your floating multi window feature. But creating 3 different threads in 3 different sections isn't necessary at all. If people want to find they will. I'm quite sure you'll get flagged for that, FYI. It's just using unnecessary SPACE on the server!!

Edit: 4 different threads WOW:what:
Just trying to spread the word. Some people don't use the search button and only go to certain sections. I only did it for people like that. Sorry if I may have offended some of you
That's why I have the ALL in one stop shop..:thumbup: I could have easily posted it in there for you, on the (how to list)..Then everyone would see it first.
But yes I understand that your just trying to help those that want it. And to make sure they see it. BUT, but the mods might like that you made so many of the same threads, is all I'm saying brotha!!

If you have a problem, how can anyone help, when they don't know, what phone you got, what ROM, What Kernel is installed, what caused the current problem and what you had done to solve it.
All these matters, for an XDA member to even THINK of helping you and they might just ignore, since you could not be bothered to provide the details. Most of all specific phones have specific forums and you should first use the search for that forum or look in the WIKI for that particular Phone, Imagine some one gave you an answer meant for a another phone that is not similar to yours, you could end up spending a lot of time and money trying to recover it. So be wise and do your part, search for your phone in this forum and post it there after you have tried searching for the answers you are seeking in that specific forum.
Check this out! You , YES! you are an " Android ". Not your phone but U.
You Must watch this documentary concerning your privacy Terms & Conditions we had agreed to, by using a PC or Smartphone
How to say Thank you? If you find any post helpful on XDA, click on their Thanks button

If you are using XDA App or Tapatalk, long press on the post and select :good: Thanks Its easier to give "Feedback" in this manner than make an additional post.
I'm suggesting to open threads in correct sections and explain the situation thoroughly.

Hey,
why do registered users still have to enter these captchas?

They are incredible hard and it takes me at least 6 tries to get it right... ;-(
Hint: the above solution was NOT correct!
Furthermore even when you want to PREVIEW your post you have to verify and then AGAIN for posting or previewing - this is ridiculous and really a PITA!

Registered users only have to enter CAPTCHA codes before posting until they reach 10 posts. After that, the requirement is removed.
The CAPTCHAs exist to keep bot accounts from posting spam junk as soon as they are created. The "10 post rule" is what keeps down the spam.
And lastly, the reason the CAPTCHAs are rather difficult is because bots are getting smarter in terms of reading and solving CAPTCHA codes, so if they are made harder to read, that will also cut down on spam.
I hope this explains things for you!

Aha, ok at least there is hope (once I reached 10 posts), because posting now really take some nerves...
Maybe it could be reduced to 8 posts or so?
And yeah I know spam is annyoing.
Thanks for the explanation.
