When I put the tablet to sleep for a couple of minutes my SD Card Auto Unmount Itself and Always Gets a Pop Out " An SD Card Have Been Inserted". Any Help?
I know when you restart the tablet it does that but when you hit the power to let your tablet sleep or turn off the screen it does that annoying thing again..
Using Stock Rom but "Rooted". Sm-T800 device

I keep seeing a message saying sd card was suddenly removed, and then it reactivates the SD card and everythings fine, and sooner or later, the cycle keeps repeating.
I saw this happening in the last week or so on my galaxy s3 i had before the note 2, so i know its not the phone and its the card.. but i was wondering what i could do to maybe fix this? I already tried formatting the sd card once, but im thinking maybe this card is permanetely damaged somehow?? Anything I can do to kinda get it to stop acting up or am i out of luck?
If you can backup the contents of your SD card to a PC, try this video...

This is apparently a recurring issue, it happens on my 64gb uhs1 card too, and its a genuine card. I still haven't been able to track down the cause of it, and it's fairly annoying. The card just locks up and ignores commands sent to it and the kernel times out on it and sees it as dead. No actual data loss or anything.
yeah.. i feel like everytime i turn the screen on i see 'preparing SD card'
im thinking it has an effect on battery too.
Hey there, recently I encountered a weird problem.
I was playing with the NFC of the Note 2 with my wifes One X.
And I thought, you know what, just leave it on as they aren't using that much power etc.
Couple of days later, my SD card started to act strange (couldn't access my pictures, computer couldn''t see the drive)
I took it out, put it back in no more problem, but later it acted strange again.
So, again, I took it out and repeated it, until it didn't recognize the SD card AT ALL!!!
I thought I overheated the SD card slot or something like that.
I also remembered I left the NFC on.
I turned off the NFC and left the phone, without the SD, to chill.
Half our later, popped the SD card in and no more problems.
Yesterday I repeated the whole process (my Note 2 & the One X).
Left the NFC on. But this time, the SD acted weird after an approx. an hour.
I couldn't turn off the NFC and I had to format the SD (as it was "damaged").
The difference between the two stories :
- First story : it was the original cover with the original NFC chip.
- Second story : an "EBAY" battery cover with an "EBAY" NFC chip.
My questions :
1. What is the "normal" procedure using NFC? Turn on/off everytime you want to use it?
2. Has anybody else encountered the same problem as I did?
Thanx
Well it has been asked many times in this phone's section why it reboots. Somewhere I've read that it might be the SD card. I got Kingmax 16gb class 6 Micro SD hc card, and I've noticed after I install some ICS or the "official" 4.1.2 jelly bean it works fine at the beggining. After I put the music and pictures on SD card which take about 4gb space it continues to do well for first few hours (once even a whole day) and then it suddenly restarts. After that first restart the phone starts restarting more frequently like 3-4 times a day, and it annoys me. Is it maybe the SD card problem? And is there any way to check it?

remove the sd card and use the phone without it, if it still restarting on its own . The rom you're using is the problem

Thing is I often need the phone, and it has low memory on its own, that is why I didn't use that method

Well I did remove, but I didn't use it for more than 2 hours like that, not a whole day.
Try another memory card with different class
And play song on third party apps like google play music or poweramp etc..
Try memory card on different phone & check memory card is damaged or not
Dump the memory card on water (do it your self i am not resposible for any damage) dry with clean soft cloth
If not working this method
Reset your mobile
Flash your mobile or goto service center

Hi , wanted to bring up a problem Ive been experiencing with my LG G3 here on the forums.
I have completely stock LG G3 D852 on Kitkat 4.4.2. The problem is this: At random times I will wake my phone up to discover a notification that the SD card has been unmounted. Physically the SD Card is secure and has not been moved or shaken at all.
I will then attempt to go to 'settings' and mount the SD card. At this point the phone notifies that the SD card cannot be mounted or cannot be read.
I have found that by simply restarting the phone, the SD card goes right back to normal with all files fully readable as if nothing ever happened.
My closest understanding about what may be going on is that some apps are writing some sort of backup files to my sd card which are causing some sort of corruption (just a theory) the reason for this is that this phenomena seemed to occur more frequently after doing heavy editing on my desktop visualizer widget, but it may have been simply a coincidence.
The SD Card is a Kingston Ultimate 64GB (Class 10 UHS-I) microSDXC Card, Up to 90MB/s read, 45MB/s write (SDCA10/64GB) which was placed in the phone brand new about the same time the phone was also new and formatted immediately in the LG G3. It has been in use for a little less than three weeks.
My question is, has anyone else experienced anything similar? What are your experiences? Please share below. And has anyone stumbled upon any solutions?

Hi guys!
Recently, my tab S4 shows the message "SD card unexpectedly unmount", or similar. Even though I have not removed it. The tab s4 by itself mount it again but is just a fact of time to unmount it again. Is not a cycle but I cannot find a pattern. I am a little bit concern as the SD could get damage for this unexpectedly unmount.
I have already done a Scandisk on windows then put it back and works perfectly, but sooner or later it all starts again.
Any thoughts?

Can you elaborate more about it?
What type of TAB S4 do you have?
What brand of the microSD, what size, what type?
Any more info that can help us help you?

This is almost certainly a failing/damaged card.
Irrespective of what windows tells you.
Been there done that several times.
