how can i hide my apps from the drawer?

I really need a way to hide my apps from the app drawer,
do I have to be rooted? Someone please help, if this is
Already answered somewhere sorry, lol I suck at forums. Need help!
Thanks
Go to the market and get ADW launcher. Awesome app that you don't need root to use. Has a slide bar on the bottom to hide any app you want. Other than that, I'm not sure of a way off the top of my head to do so.

When you say you are trying to hide apps from the app drawer....what do you mean? I dont think you can actually hide them from the app drawer if they are installed unless the app is designed to be hidden after install, such as "mobile defense" is. If you want to restrict access of apps so that someone cant just open your phone and get into your apps, there are apps out there that will require you to put in a password to gain access to your apps. I think the name of one of them is app protector.
If you are looking to hide them on your homescreen (ie: your app drawer dock)
then the best launcher to use would be "Launcher pro" or "ADW Launcher" In my personal experiance, I like Launcher Pro alot better. ADW has more settings options but there are a few functions on Launcher pro that I like more especialy the dock and app drawer ones.
Advanced launcher was in older versions of CyanogenMod. It had this feature. I don't know if the launcher is still being developed, but these new launchers should really take a cue from that. I found the feature useful, and I could definitely use it now. It also allowed you to put folders in your app drawer, which I thought was pretty cool.
I believe app safe will hide them. Its from the people that made photosafe and video safe and what not. Check the market for it. But I'm not entirely sure.
ADW is the only simple easy way. With ADW you can still have the app on your screens but hidden from the launcher drawer. You can also use the keyboard and type the app name and it shows up.
launcher pro just added this feature as well

Thanks for pointing that out. He hasn't updated the changelog on his blog so I didn't know what made it into the updates.
At least now I don't have to see my bloatware.

Hide application icon from android?

Hi,
Guys is there any way to hide the icon of any installed app? It should not also get visibility in the remove app list?
Some of The Custom Launchers give this option , though have never tried to Hide/lock my app so wouldnt know if it shows up in remove app list
Try Go Launcher and see what happens mate
How about freezing the app? It should remove it from the launcher and manage applications list.

How to hide apps and widgets?

In ICS, is there a way to hide apps that I don't use much, or to hide widgets that I don't use at all in the drawer?
Is there a good app to download to organize widgets in the drawer? I have a lot and most of them, I don't use.
Thanks
For widgets I'm not using I just delete them from the screen (hold 2 secs, drag to the bin at the top) - that doesn't delete the programs you can always re-add them from the home menu if you change your mind.
Hide app shortcuts - drag them on top of each other so there's one drawer for the lot.

You can disable apps you don't use. Can't really do that with individual widgets though.

Check out AWDLauncher. You can organize apps into different groups and swipe left and right to switch groups.
If you want to totally hide apps check out Launcher PRO.

as in the "clock" app/widget? just go back into your Settings > Apps and scroll own to the bottom, it'll be grayed out. Click on it and re-enable it.

Is there an app or ROM which can do this?

I'm trying to find an app or ROM which would reproduce entirely Samsung TouchWiz multiwindow. I'm not talking about Halo (floating window) or the XmultiWindow Xposed module. I tried both and they lack a few options. I want an app bar which gives me the ability to launch app in split screen but I also want to have the ability to change a full screen app into a split screen app without having to relaunch the app. I also want the ability to resize the app once it's in split view. I didn't find anything in the Play Store... Basically, I didn't find anything to make it as seamless as on TouchWiz ROM. OmniROM is close it lack the ability to launch app in split view with a sidebar
