Adguard works as a adblock vpn. Works on non rooted devices for blocking ads!

Hello i have a sprint galaxy s III and i was wondering if anyone has had success tethering a sprint phone to the nexus 7? My phone is not rooted, i would like to keep it that way if at all possible. I use FoxFi and PDA Net and it does connect to my Nexus 7, but for internet only. Google play will not update apps, facebook will not work, Netflix won't work, ect. I tried open garden, FoxFi (by itself), PDA Net (by itself) and nothing else connects. What is everyone else using??? Thanks in advanced!
Well I`m using foxfi and it works very well for me. I`m living in uk.

I tried out foxfi today for the first time. It seems pretty good, but I would like to here others suggestions as well.

That doesn't really answer the OP's post though. FoxFi doesn't look like a real internet connection to all apps though. Is there another app that does any better?

If I understand this right your wanting to connect your N7 to the internet via your G3, if so cannot you just use the mobile access point on the phone, i have the galaxy s and my sister has the S2, both have this options in the settings and once set up and turned on acts just like a wireless router, select it and enter the password on your N7 and your away.. works well on mine

I've never tried it, but how about PDAnet?
Foxfi Wifi Hotspot no longer works on my nonrooted Droid Bionic. I can only tether via blueetooth, which doesn't allow all of my apps to work correctly. Does anyone know of a Foxfi alternative?
My Foxfi works fine on droid x to my nexus 7. I don't know what you're talking about not a real connection....
Check it out though, foxfi is definitely awesome.

Without monitoring browser user agent. Im on my PC and have tethering working, but if i do not spoof my user agent i get the tmobile site telling me to upgrade my plan.
Would a VPN on the pc work? or on the phone?
Edit:
I'm using clockworkmod's tethering app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.privateinternetaccess.android
And with a vpn I do not need to spoof my user agent anymore which also allows me to play games like bf3 on my lte network! I've tried hot spot shield and one click vpn, both working but poor speeds for me. Thinking about paying for private Internet access but not sure of the speeds yet.
Yes VPN on your phone.
Use safari. Tmobile can only detect ie, Firefox, and chrome. I've used 50gb this month with safari.

Any recommendations for a fast vpn? And will a vpn app automatically tunnel the data from usb tethering?

Sorry to keep bumping this but I can't find any way to get a vpn working through usb tether, only wifi tethering.

Having problems connecting my PS4 to my mobile hotspot, I have a Tmo note 3 but currently using MetroPCs. I don't have the hotspot with my service so I tether Hotspot with the widget and use it that way (For free) but the main problem is using my PS4 with it, My ps4 is able to obtain IP Address and have interne access but the PSN sign-in always fail, So I called up sony and told them my problem and they said something about Port forwarding or something like that and they gave me a website with the ports I need to access the PSN is there anyway I can port forward off a mobile hotspot?
After you set up your settings on the ps4, sign in to psn. Then try and test again. Happened to me, and I thought it was my internet connection. But it was bcuz I didnt sign into psn after I saved all my network settings.

I currently use Samsung Galaxy S2 + 3200mah Mugen battery with 4.4.2 and extensively use OpenVPN client on the phone to connect to my own VPN servers.
LG G3 is shaping up to be my next next upgrade (only 2nd ever smart phone, S2 was my first).
But was wondering any LG G3 users use OpenVPN client or native VPN and whether there's any issues ?
cheers
No issues at all... I use native VPN to connect to the servers at work. Moreover I found the app VpnCilla which allows to use VPN with knock code and without further security settings like pin or password.

Just got a D855 (Kitkat 4.4.2) here in Germany as a replacement for my iPhone4s. Can't connect anymore to my VPN (LPT2/IPSEC) with stock app. Both iPhone and laptop connect OK ... Not rooted yet.
Using openVPN with no issues at all. Just consider the closed booloader when u buy it.

I'm considering switching to ATT. I realize there is no root yet. Are there any tethering apps that work?

I've always used EasyTether Pro ($9.99, but worth it IMHO) - it has worked for both Mac and Windows for me - been using it for a few years. I've had a couple hiccups with the Bluetooth side, but direct cable connect via USB works flawlessly for me.
Mobile Hotspot is actually built into the phone.
