Restarting Issue

My Galaxy S2 from Tmobile was working ok. I had update to ICS 4.0.3 i think a few days ago via Kies. Out of the blue the phone starts to restart. When it boots it gets to the animation with the android then vibrates and reboots. It vibrates a few more times then keeps trying to boot but keeps rebooting. When it finally loads The screen locks and when i press the power button to unlock it flashes many times then vibrates and starts with the whole rebooting loop. I tried to flash it to stock but when I put it in download mode I press the continue option its says "downloading" the restarts. I thought maybe the power button got stuck so I took it apart and cleaned it and all. put it back together and nothing. Any thoughts?
Thank you so much in advance

Nexus firmware is not supported by kies you will never be able to connect it to kies . Just wipe cache from recovery don't wipe data.

[Q] hardbrick?

hey,
i was flashing a new Rom yesterday. everything was going smooth and when i was wiping the cache , the phone gets frozen and i had to unplug the battery .
now it doesnt boot anymore. ( not even in recovery or download) when i try to boot my phone everything what happens is that the approximate sensor flashes 1 time but the screen stays black.
my question now :
is this a sign for a hardbrick ?
will a USB jig helps me?
or does anyone have a tipp how to boot my phone into download or recovery ?
If you could explain more, which rom you installed in which step you were??? plug the phone to pc for any response??

already used my usb jig a day ago. no reaction . screen stays black.
i think nothing works . i will send it to samsung tomorrow.
Ive seen this happen a few times and every time it was the wrong version of the rom being installed. For example, trying to install a international rom on a US phone. The phone had to be sent in for repair or exchange each time.
Try following Max's instruction on how to root or unbrick galaxy note 2 in YouTube.

What applications did you install?
When you say unlock button, do you mean the power button that turns on the screen? Or the slide to unlock on the screen when the screen is lit?
Have you tried rebooting?

normal apps , like Airdroid or Yahoo Messenger & Viber & ...
i meant the power bottun
Try to delete installed apps and see if the lock/unlock works good, if its done reinstall the apps, maybe its a install download or some error

Phone won't boot for 2 minutes after flashing rom

After flashing arhd 7.0, before hitting reboot button in twrp, my phone turns off and I can't get it back to life. I keep holding power button + volume up or down being in panic for a couple of minutes. After that my phone boots.I am not sure after what combination of buttons. This happened several times. Does anyone has any suggestions? I 'm afraid my phone won't boot again eventually after flashing a new update

In the twrp settings screen turn off the screen saver setting. I forget what it says exactly but once you turn this off that should stop happening.

Thanks I will try this. Hope won't happen again
I panicked after flashing AR7.0 as I thought I had bricked my M8. The screen goes black and doesnt respond, but I found that if you just leave it for a good few minutes it will boot up properly. It stays on the white HTC splash screen for a while too.
Happens to me too. I'm not sure if it's really the screen lock, but if you just leave it alone for a bit the screen will come back on and then you can tell TWRP to reboot.
First time i flashed and the screen turned off nearly gave me a heart attack

Press power + vol. Up button,
Before you flash any rom on TWRP, go to setting-screen- uncheck screen timeout on TWRP
