[ROM][OFFICIAL][PORT] LeWa OS & themes (Final update, LollipopMod)

Hi, This is about Android@LeWaOS 2.0 for our Gio.
ROM is ported from Ace (official ROM).
Nice new UI, new apps, good battery life, performance (fast and very good RAM memory management)
and it's stable, lite and bugs free.

Tips... ***

1. Google apps
-Before you add your Google account you have to Turn on background data.
2. Languages
-LeWaOS 2.0 is based on CM7 so you can add manually languages from CM (same files in framework and settings)
and you will have 50% translated ROM. (In ROM is added: Polish(new), English, Chinese and Turkish(new) ).
3. Performance
-Adrenaline Engine is included, (and LeWa added some SCRIPTS/TWEAKS) so you can remove it, Uninstaller
-The best setting is 250 min, 825 max and smartassv2 governor of CPU.
4. In ROM is no File manager, Email and Internet Browser, you can download better app from Play Store.

For Internet you can download Dolphin Browser for Android...

I can't add Google Account throught setup wizard. The status bar toggle lack of Lock and turn off screen button
When I use feedback app it's crashed.
I installed this rom throught CWM then do full wipe but it's happened the same

Flashed it last night , using it now . It`s fast . I also cannot connect to google account but i don`t care about that. Thanks for the rom.

Do you read what I wrote? Setup wizard crashed only once and Google account you can add in Settings without problem or reflash gapps.
Feedback app working good I tested it I can show you a screenshot. I really have no problems but some apps are missed so I add this apps in patch. and thanks for inforamtions.

mobile data don't work
great rom

Mobile data works just fine for me . Also i can add that in-call volume is very loud , one of my favourite things in general in a rom

ga8r13llitt05 I always install ROMs on clean 2.3.6 with full wipe and I never have problems.

Nevermind my question, I found some widget to do that.
I must say I was very skeptical about yhis rom and I was wrong. It is a very smooth and stable, even loaded with many apps. I am very, very pleased with it. My thanks to developers!

on first you get fc but go again to this options and check again, should be ok.

Freezed Music app, installed Google Play Music, now GPM kicks in after a call.

With this music app i never had problems,
and white list option works good for me, i checked dspmanager.apk and it is not killed.
But I trust you can have such problems with this LEWA. I have on PC dev ver 13.05.31 from (31 may, newest but dev) maybe will be better.

Good work but when I have to touch the android it doesnt do nothing, I touch and it still in the same screen. help me!!!

You have to remove the SetupWizard.apk from zip package and install ROM again

All themes for lewa you dont like? i added a link in this thread for themes, you can also install themechooser but this app is not work good on odexed roms.

I downloaded the rom, flashed it, the only thing I see is the Galaxy W screen with "cyanogenmod" below, then it reboots automatically to CWM.
Any suggestion?

You should use this recovery [ancora][Galaxy W][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch
And use wipe & format > clean to install a new rom
Then install the rom

Music stuttering
Thank you for this ROM, Iwas able to installed it w/o problem. However, I experience music stuttering when a message coming in or activating another app during music listening. Any way for rectifying this please?

every time i tryd to install i get fc on aosp keypad and the soft buttons doesnt work.
same fc on sambean but the soft buttons are working.
and is there a way to keep the launcher in memory ??

incoming call sound
sound is open but phone not ringing when incoming calls. any suggestion? i can play music files only; doesnt ringing at incoming calls and sms receive.

Is not possible use this ROM without keyboard

ok well the rom looks nice but why when i instaled this rom the keyboard application stops and i cant write anything

Would you please upload this Rom in Rapidgator or other servers too?

you didn't fix this problem.
- custom wallpaper can not fit with screen (scrollable) it can't be Lockmode
i know this isn't a big problem. I can fix it by using launcher app. but it sucks my ram so much. and if i use it, the icons become low quality (if i use my stock rom. although i use launcher app, the icons is still in HD)
please fix it. I think it's just the one step to make your rom looks perfect.

wipe data
intall zip from sd card
select the file and install
click next in aroma installer and after installation click finish
wipe cache and dalvik cache
DO NOT CLEAR DATA AFTER INSTALLATON
reboot and done
first reboot may take time

After installation it is recommended to connect to wifi for download of google search offline data.
Update xposed installer and activate the modules.

Camera Fix
just download the attached camfix.zip and extract the two .so file
copy the two files using es file manager using root permissions to /system/lib
you can also use root explorer (recommended)
change perissions to 644 (-rw-r--r--) and ownership to 0.0(root:root)
reboot and done

i am working on the camera and adroid version is 4.2 jellybean.

I am also working on porting this ROM, I have the camera fixed. I will post a zip.

no. there is no mass storage problem in my rom.
may be there is some problem in ur pc. check it again

I was talking about my attempt to port this rom. It was showing that there was no internal/sd card.

This rom is fantastic. Luv the way u have made it mostly "kitkat"ish.
1, The dark transparent backgrounds work beaurifully and the additional apps from Xposed does wonders.
2,Very stable.
3, Camera works but the default is down at 8mp even with patch. So the best thing to use is Lenovo Super Cam apk.
4, This rom can fool anybody that its kitkat since even the easter egg portrays it.
5, External mem shows as internal. Although most will prefer it, I prefer default since the phone has enough space for apps. So I modified that with a small change in the vold.fstab file. If anyone needs the same, buzz me.

This is a extremely good rom but there are some problems
1. Photosphere laggy (we cant say its working at all)
2. Unused sim stays at the statusbar.
Else its the best rom yet for the device.And the looks are awesome.

I dunno about the photosphere issue since i use Supercam but in order to get rid of the unused sim bars, just use Xposed Framework, Gravitybox module. In that, you will find the option to hide inactive signal bars under status bar tweaks or some similar option. Did the trick for me mate. Cheers:good:

although the ROM is very stable but will you be working on anymore updates on it ,
and also is it actual kitkat or just themed jellybean
also THE XTHEMER DOESN'T WORKS
IT WOULD BE REAL GREAT HELP IF YOU CAN PROVIDE THE STOCK PROXIMITY CALL ANSWER FEATURE IN NEXT UPDATE .

just google it.. there is an xda thread also for it... u will get apks and install them

Amazing rom !
We do have to fix 3 things on our own though like internal memory shows as external can be easily fixed by replacing the vold.fstab file in system/etc by another custom vold.fstab file .then camera patch provided in the OP by extracting them and then replacing the ones in system/lib and setting permissions to rw-r-r. And making sure you do a reboot after each change .
A lot of tedious work but yes a very stable rom no issues yet not in wifi not in anything at all

[Flashable Zip]Huge UI mod for stock apps for Jellybean (G3 style)

This mod will change default apps UI to look like G3:
Contact, Phone, Setting, Lockscreen, Home, Message, Camera
Little icon change for:
Internet, videos, calculator, gallery
How to:
1. You must have a file manager for editing Example.apk, X-PLORE file manager is always highly recommended:
2. Download zip from attachments, open mod & copy(replace) "res" folder in Example.apk.
3. Replace your new Example.apk with the original one in system/app.
4. You MUST always Restart your phone to get the right result! Possible Force closes before restart are normal

hold on an apk file & select "open as archive" & then you can modify APKs easily
----------how this mod works?
this mod will replace only some pictures in Example.apk
If you don't like a change, easily delete its picture from mod folder & copy pics again to the original copy of Example.apk.
!! remember to have the original STOCK APK files somewhere safe !!
I suggest to copy the system/"app" folder somewhere safe
If you want to have changeable status bar & navbar colors same as action bar(flat style like my screenshot, you can use FlatStyleColoredBars! Even on 4.1 like myself. All the credits goes to ibocharov, that's a great module & worthy to buy the pro if you like!
BUT IT'S ONLY FOR 4.3+! BUT NO PROBLEM, install Xinstaller Xposed module & disable checking sdk version & it will be installed & will work on 4.1 jellybean perfect!
NOTE: use the 0.63 or lower versions of flatstylecoloredbars on jellybean, the newer versions cause serious force closes! If you've already faced the problem, use Xposed recovery mode:
Restart the phone,once you see boot animation, press volume down four times or more!
That's how I solve the problem on my (locked bootloader-no custom recovery) device!
The 0.63 version that I'm already using it, is perfect for jellybean,I've attached it(edited,works with 4.1 without other modules )

The problem is my phone is not unlocked & I don't know how to make flashable zip!
But I make you sure even by deleting the apps above, phone will boot normally(tested) & you can replace or copy your original apps, they will be restored FOR SURE.
Also that's not that much hard to modify them! At most 10 minutes for all of them!

I found some magisk modules on Mi pad 5 group on telegram but it didn't work. May there's something else to get it work.

I checked the telegram group but didn't see anything related to this.... so far I don't see any possible way

I've done it without rooting. It kinda works, main widget (weather + clock) is either too small or too big, also doesnt work on landscape mode, you will have problems in lockscreen etc.
I used miui theme kit apk to install theme and another app from play store that reveals hidden system apps shortcuts. App is there, it's just hidden, you can do some thing like get back to default theme.
That's a dissapointment because main reason i bought this pad is theme customisation. Most of MIUI features doesn't work here.

Check this out once https://t.me/redmipadofficial/1942 after u got root just flash this zip file which enables you to import and flash custom themes/fonts/wallpaper of your choice
You can get custom themes files from other Xiaomi device or from Google search miui themes then download the Mtz theme file and then
U have two ways to open this app,after u flash this magisk module u will not see any difference and can't see themes app in app drawer
1. Go to setting then in wallpaper and here u go with moded themes app
2. In steps -
long press on home screen ..choose wallpaper
top right ..choose themes icon
my account
themes .. import .. choose mtz files
apply and reboot once.
[Yeah, this mod themes app is taken from China miui Android phone rom hence it doesn't support landscape mode, bellow is the screen shot... Personaly I didn't found any good theme so I didn't flash any now but still good to have option in case u want to...]

I used miui theme kit apk to install theme and another app from play store that reveals hidden system apps shortcuts. App is there, it's just hidden, you can do some thing like get back to default theme.
That's a dissapointment because main reason i bought this pad is theme customisation. Most of MIUI features doesn't work here.

I've tried this before and it would t work. I've seen the themes app is hidden but it will not open I receive the message it's not supported in your region. Changing the region doesn't help.

U have two ways to open this app,after u flash this magisk module u will not see any difference and can't see themes app in app drawer

This worked perfectly. Thank you for sharing what you found. Now I can atleast change the icon shape

Will also suggest to try coustomiuizer 13 and Monet miui, allows you lot of customisation but one warnings don't mess up with charging animation... I messed once with lspossed wave apk from then on I am not able to find single method to get back to orginal charging animation... So now have to use that lsposed wave charging animation to hide stock crupted charging animation...
Otherwise everything works better than what miui gives...

I use customiuizer which is great. I will check out monet miui. All I really need now to make this perfect is to be able to change the grid size to utilise the full homescreen. Thanks.
