Yes, surely that'd be fine. It works on F240k, so you should be fine. It's always wise to make a nandroid backup first, and keep your stock images close by, just in case, so you can make it back in one piece if things turn dicey. Should be fine. Fine!

try using root and recovery apk file for gpro 6.0.4.4. then reboot to recovery and flash any ported rom suits your choice like( sphinx v2, Vupmp) in flashing rom select root into aroma and don't select philz recovery there. just stay stock recovery. after flashing reboot to system and make the primary settings. skip everythin and go to home menu. now reboot using rebooter app to boot into recovery. now your device is e98x at recovery. just flash the philz recovery zip and reboot recovery.

Thanks

Try flashing the zip. Before that, check if you have ticked Update CM recovery in Developer options.
Also you can try to fastboot your recovery image via adb

Um,which rom are you on? On all cm based roms, i find this. I'm not sure if this really interferes, but i would prefer to turn it off incase i dont want changing recoveries.
Have you tried flashing the zip or flashing via fastboot?

Exactly the same issue here on Find 7a.

Meanwhile 2.8.5.0 and 2.8.4.0 are both working fine

TWRP 2.8.4.0 Modem
Hello,
Above in this forum I read somebody can take back-up of the modem partition within TWRP 2.8.4.0.
When I goes to TWRP from my LG3 D855 using Flashify (installed in Lolipop AndroidNow HD 8.4).
I can't see in TWRP Back-up option., the posibility to take a back-up of the modem partition.
What I do wrong ?
How is the difference between my TWRP installation and the other installation ?
Regards, Thierry
twrp 2.8.4.0 d855 modem - solved
Correction :
I downloaded "twrp-2.8.4.0_d855-bumped.zip" from "777Jon".
This version is with the option of "modem" back-up. My question is thus solved.
The tread can be suppressed.
Same issue here, I can't mount encrypted data partition and I have v20H bumped (stock) rom.
I attached part of my recovery log.
