Faq's about cm13 for redmi 1s by feifofum

What are the known bugs of r6 of cm 13 by feifofum. And regarding the bootloader and modem files(firmware_7.0.5.0.zip) do we have to flash it before installing cm 13 or after installing cm 13 with gapps.

1st fimware
2nd ROM
3rd Gapps

you install the firmware just once and it should be good to go, 1st firmware, 2nd rom, 3rd gapps.
future clean installs only need the rom and gapps

Kernel on cm13.

Wanted to install xelemental kernel but I'm not sure if can install on cm rom , can be install ?

ElementalX doesn't work on CM.

i will flash my OP3 with Freedom OS 1.5.1. Now i see that there is a newer ElementalX kernel. Can i update it without any issues. Which Version should i download
vers. 0.23 for oxy
vers.0.31 for cm
Can anyone help please?

Just flash .23 oxy in twrp

llineage os 14.1 updates help

I found alot of updates for my lineage os rom and i dont konw sould i update all the updates or just the latest one

just the last one (assuming you are updating from the same base version ie 14.1 to 14.1 If you are on older ver eg 12 or a early unofficial ver you need to wipe & do a clean install like for a new ROM, also only need the latest one in this case)

after updating my whyred to latest miui pie version i m unable to mount my any of partition though i could flash another rom.

To install any other pie based AOSP rom firt u need to download TWRP that supports both the pie and oreo firmware (latest pitch black will help) then you have to flash first oreo firmware (don't worry about ARB just flash firmware) and then you will be able to install any other aosp ROM.

Yep I'm facing the same issue even after using the latest version of PitchBlack Recovery.
