Guys I've been searching for a stock rom which could run games like MC4 and vector cut the rope.
As we all know that Canvas 4 is a rebranded clone of Wiko stairway every specification is the same. :angel:
So i finally flashed the stock rom of the Wiko Stairway and its trust me guys you should flash this rom because its bugless and moreover every game which was not running on stock rom of canvas 4 is now found to be running.
Seriously a great relief to me :good:
Note: Cut the rope is not working but cut the rope 2 is working
Flash it guys if you want a close to stock android experience with every game running

WARNING: By default It will repartition the internal rom so make sure you backup the contents of internal SD card
IT WILL ERASE THE CONTENTS OF THE INTERNAL SD CARD
Partition will be in this way:
Internal storage(previously phone storage): will change from 2.5GB to 4GB
Phone memory(previously Internal SD card): will change from 10GB to 8GB

@alok singh its an executable file (software UI) made by Wiko to flash the phone by just following the instructions and pressing the download button.

I've not tried it but i believe its possible to repartition the ROM by selecting the EBR files (EBR 1, EBR 2) of the stock rom of canvas 4 in conjunction with other files of wiko stairway rom and flash it via sptools

Yeah thats right its 4.2.1 but its a bug free rom unlike the stock rom v1(v14) and v3(v16) of canvas 4

You can install viper4android or dolby after rooting
Its a stock rom so same equalizer as that of the canvas 4 stock rom

I did not face any network issues make sure your sim is inserted properly or if you have not subscribed to 3G make sure you have turned off the 3G switch for that particular sim
Its a bit stable now after several restarts.. I even turned off 1 sim and switched to 2g.. Lets see how it goes.. Btw i didnt experience this whn using the pure xperia rom

that is really strange and doesn't seem to be a ROM issue because it is the same rom as that of the C4 stock.
try flashing the same rom again or revert back to the pureXperia and see if you are facing the same network issue.

Hey.. Did u install the system update (ota) after flashing ? It could b because of that as well ? Now Asphalt 7 is getting stuck at checking files.. It worked only once
Anyways I'll try to flash the same ROM again and see how it works

Maybe that could solve the network problems
And i really dont like asphalt 7 so i rooted and uninstalled asphalt 7 and other preinstalled games
But i think the update will solve that issue too

Bro I also installed the update but no luck I think the easiest method is to do a factory reset and see.. Will update here once done
Edit: i switched back to Pure Xperia rom and the network issue is sorted.. not sure why am i getting it in stock wiko rom
It might be because of invalid imei... I also faced the problem of invalid imei which I solve... U can search on YouTube to solve this problem

Btw I'm also trying different Roms these days so far I didn't experience any network issues in pure xperia and rombuzz Roms

I have to ask you because i flashed Official CM 10.2, my phone always restart automatic every time screen turn off.

Oh OK cause I have the e980 so will I have issues cause I tried the official and unofficial cm10.2 and carbon and had this issue on all 3 roms.

you can always just clear the defaults of the launcher so you will get back the CM launcher its stil there i havent removed it... so is the lock screen as well

Yes, I just remove Lock screen GS 4 and clear launcher to default.
Try for some days, find out the issues if have and report later.

Hey anirudhks, can you upload a TWRP restore based???
Because, i use CWM to restore your rom into my phone after install TWRP to backup rom 4.3. But when i restore rom by TWRP, it always restart automatic. I don't know why.

I only keep stock software because non of the custom Roms offers the smart stay screen or smart video or dual shot camera and dual video recording feature that the stock ROM offer. Until those things aren't put in to a custom ROM I most likely not gonna at least as for my daily ROM switch to a custom ROM. Just to many awesome features missing in custom ROM vs the stock ROM.

Hello all.
I see there are already some custom kitkat roms based on the stock kitkat for optimus g f180.
Here is the very stock kitkat rom provided by paulicat on the andoid development. It is good and battery life is awesome, as stock usually is, but there arent a lot of features.

And here is sling rom 2.0 from lgviet, it has many features, such as guest mode, slide aside and cool lockscreen effects, inclunding the "ocean" effect from lg g flex. It homewer doesnt have knock code or knock on. It does have the knock off which is nice
Battery life is almost as good as stock kk.

Using the sling rom on my e975, haven't used it enough to give feedback on battery....
But heres some screenies
The first two hours I was using this rom, it felt very slow in animations, keyboard and such, but now that it has been running over the night and had a reboot aswell, its really snappy and responsive!

So how do you guys Install the sling rom from lgviet? Do you flash a patch or something? And if you do, Which patch is it? Im asking because I couldnt get it to boot past the lg logo. I flashed only the rom in lgviet. I have an e975. Thanks for help

I'm using the first kitkat available here in the forum (4.4 rom.zip) and have a strage feature/problem.
When I receive a call is I Don't answer or reject in 10/15 seconds, the call is answered automatically...
Anyone with same "problem "? Any way to disable it?

There is a setting that you have to change. You can google it, it takes 5 minutes.

launcher stopped working!!
After flashing stock rom,launcher stopped working!!!!!,,,I try all this method like clear app data,cache,,factory reset,,even re-flash whole stock rom but facing same problem...now i installed apex launcher...and it is correctly working..but stock rom launcher not working...i have no idea what is the problem ? please reply me if any one have solution!!!

I would have recommended flashing again, but you've done that. While flashing, remove the memory card and sim card and try.. After flashing, do a factory reset with 'erase internal memory' checked.
If you still face the problem, I'll give you the stock launcher... It might help.
PS.. I did not face this issue.

There is one problem with every Micromax Canvas 4 A210 device with the stock rom. Have you observed that ? That is, if you are talking to some one on SIM 1 and if somebody calls you on SIM 2, you'll not get any notification/beep.
Anybody who is using custom ROM then please test yourself and confirm if this still exist in custom rom. I have stock rom and if this problem is sorted out on custom rom then I will change the rom.

this problem or bug was solved once when a group of developers known as Thunderboys released a color os Rom ,
which had a smart sim feature and did solved this but unfortunately that rom development is dead and even the links are down ,
try asking anybody if they have that Rom , i am quite sure that should solve it , even i need that rom but cannot find it anywhere

Hey I tried romBUZZ that feature is not there. I think you did not understand my question and run me for a wild goose chase. I think you read my querstion without understanding or you lack understanding English.

facing wifi problem while using every custom rom anybody know whats the issue ?
Using E980 at&t
Used CWM 6.0.4.7 for flashing and also use new Phillz touch recovery but same problem on all custom roms working perfect on stock based roms.. any idea ??

collect wifi driver from stock system/lib/hw/wifi...so test with it by replacing at any other roms you love.

no wifi drivers there anything else ? I replace the wifi folder in etc but it didnt work

its the apk file included in the zip. install it after 1st successful boot

Heey good work. Very nice ROM. I liked. Soo I'm facing one problem I cannot receive any file via wifi(ShareIt). My friends cannot see my phone. Except this very very good work. And you wrote this ROM 1.4 version but still there 1.3 version. But changed android version to 5.0.2. Nevermind sooooooo perfect lollipop ROM. Thank you for cared about us.

are u facing any voice issues during call like voice breakage of urs or the caller unable to hear ur voice for sometime or low voice?is it stable? any bugs ur facing?

this is a problem with blisspop itself and i mean it they are working hard. perhaps patience will mend this problem soon . thnx for the update link. i did't tested it bt will update OP. thnx
