OP, philz recovery works on this phone...the version 4 build is pretty stable tbh.
Neither do i know how to port roms, however having cyanogen mod would quite exciting indeed...
I wonder why Exynos will have difficulty in making a rom? Source codes maybe?

Running Nadia kernel r5 on my note 4 de, so far it's great, have had no problems, and the phone seems to run cooler.
