So yeah the title says it all really, I flashed a ROM on TWRP without factory resetting and now it's stuck on boot screen. Just wondering if there was some way around this or if I just ruined my phone.
EDIT: after searching around a bit I noticed what I am dealing with is a boot loop, anyway I can fix it?

Weird issue here, wife's Slide has been working just fine all this time, needed a reboot this morning, is now stuck in a boot loop.
Phone is 100% stock and not rooted, now I have rooted other phones and know the processes involved BUT am looking for a simple fix first, wife doesn't care about anything other than a functioning phone.
Does anyone know if doing a factory reset would do the trick? I know how to get into recovery and all that, or any other idea? If it gets to it I will root and throw say Cyanogen on it, but will try to avoid anything drastic if possible.
Yes, factory reset/ wipe should help
After wiping data and factory resetting the phone everything was still working fine. I decided to format the data and system via clockwork mod but after that the phone hangs on the Galaxy S3 logo. I tried flashing a stock rom through Odin and it passed but the phone still hangs at the S3 logo. I haven't sat and waited for half an hour but I'm pretty sure it's still soft bricked. I can still get into recovery and download mode but the phone still wont boot up. I saw something about bootchains in another thread but I couldn't find anything for the T-Mobile variant. Anyone able to help?
Lock this thread. Solved the issue thanks to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1897181
Had to download the entire stock image from Samsung's site.
Hey guys, I've managed to semi-brick my one x. Not too thrilled right now to say the least.
I was halfway through rooting the device when it ran into a communication error. It now is in a endless restarting loop, so with no idea a tried the factory reset from the HBoot menu. I've managed to get TWRP 2.3 in recovery mode, but I'm not sure where to go from here.
I don't really care weather it gets back to the stock ROM or a custom mod, either of those would be preferred than the shiny brick I have at the moment.
Thanks,
I have a galaxy nexus and i have a bootloop problem, ive spent so much time trying to fix it. when i try to use cwm it doeesnt boot recovery with it, no changes have actually worked. i tried to factory reset it and when i start it up again everything is there. All I did was do a reset to factory settings on my tablet, it rebooted and it's now in a TWRP bootloop?
I see the TWRP logo come on and then the screen goes black and then the TWRP logo comes on again?
Please help! I have no idea what to do???
I searched all over Google but couldn't find anything that worked?
This has happened to a lot of people: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...p-after-factory-reset-cyanogenmod-12-1-a.html
So, I'm going to make this warning REALLY BIG so this doesn't happen to you as well:
If you are running CyanogenMod 12.1 and TWRP recovery, then DO NOT ever do a FACTORY RESET.
You will break your tablet.
HOW TO FIX:
The only way I was able to fix this was to use Odin and put the stock firmware back onto the tablet.
Hello, can anyone help me, where to download the stock firmware.
I think, I'm having a same problem here. My boot screen are blank, right after the Title screen
