I got two Desire 816 models. Indian and International (Imported from Taiwan). In the Indian version, I received a software update and after update current version number is 1.61.720.1 and in the Taiwanese version. the number is 1.31.XXX.X I guess. Both the versions however run HTC Sense 6.0 but Taiwanese version do not display any new updates.
Can anyone answer will the Taiwanese version receive the update too?

I use Taiwan product too and same here my brother got an update which is Indian made and I didn't receive any update.
I have Taiwanese version too… no update since day one i bought it came with sense 6… .version no 1.56.XXX. X…

I've an H815, unlocked and both hardware and software unbranded, but I believe its an O2 handset (V10e-234-10, if that helps). I also have the bootloader unlocked. I've seen an Android 6 update is available for certain UK and European handsets and I'm just wondering if this handset is suitable for update? The update center and LG Bridge both say that the phone is up to date.
Is there a marshmallow update available for my handset version?

Yes you can download LGUP then the 20d update in the relevant threads

O2 are really dragging their heels with this. We're now 4 / 5 versions into Marshmallow and still no sign of it for O2-UK.
Mine is the same handset, I flashed the V20D firmware linked in the Android Development forum, but it threw a message on every reboot saying the version wasn't matched. I'm currently using the V20E (Orange Romania?) ROM and it's absolutely fine (bar the carrier name in the notification area).

So you reckon using V20E is the natural progressor to V10E then? It would make sense. As I said, ther is no branding on the phone except, and I just found this out this morning, the stock web browser defaults to the O2 UK mobile website. I normally use Firefox or Chrome and I don't know why the browser opened at all
V20E installed and working great. But I'm not seeing much difference between marshmallow and lollipop. Cheers guys.

Same as me, I'm on an o2 unlocked G4.
I have been running euro v20d and cm13 with no problems.
Funny enough my o2 branded g4 prompted me to download the V20d-234-10 update today.

I've a LG G3 D855 International Unlocked, that I bought from B&H in USA, last summer. I've checked and installed latest update from the "Software Update Center" but my Android version is still 5.0 while soft. version is V21a-SEA-XX
[more info:kernel: 3.4.0 The phone is not rooted. I don't live in states now.]
Is there any problem with my phone? Shouldn't I receive an update for the android version by now?

hi all, i need some help. I am using a taiwan 64gb htc 10, and i have read that many people in this forum using taiwan sets have received updates OTA. But i haven't been able to receive any updates of yet. Is my set faulty? Pls advise....i am using the set in Singapore
Hi,
Is your phone carrier free? If not that's the problem as carriers deliver the updates slower than HTC does with their unlocked phones.
You should consider that updates are not delivered to everyone at same time as this will collapse servers. Updates are delivered in groups.
What software version do you have?

If you are impatient, you could download the OTA package and manually update your phone.
same here, taiwan version, still 1.92 update or not, i'm happy with my 10
Hi everyone, just sold my S7 and got brand new HTC 10.
It's 32GB Carbon Grey, serial FA68N******, model is made in Taiwan, EU UK.
Seems like the latest update I have available OTA is August Security patch, software no 1.95.401.4. MM 6.0.1. ofc
Am I supposed to have any more of this, maybe even a Nougat?
I do have US version which got Android N at the end of November. HTC was supposed to make N available for EU a week ago, but halted the roll out because of some issues and should resume in couple of weeks or so.

Check your phone for updates. Android N rollout began today in UK
Check the HTC updates thread for download links on page 204 or later.

I have HTC 10, but the local distributor didn't release official Oreo release. So I'm stuck with version 2.41.401.41. This phone is European version.
Is there anyway I can upgrade to Oreo version?
I tried the official tools from HTC, but they didn't let me upgrade.
